I was introduced to Evan through an other Motocross training app and then started a personalized training curriculum shortly after. Being in my 40’s and dealing with Covid 3 times and various other issues I knew I needed to make a change. After just a few weeks I was noticing a significant improvement in my riding and daily like. I feel stronger than ever and I even sit up straight in the car! My posture has dramatically improved and I look forward to every workout and the improvements week after week. I invested in myself and it has been worth every cent. Thank you Evan!!

At the end of last year I came to Evan for coaching because his model fit my busy life. Over the past year or so Evan has become a trusted partner in my program. He’s provided a structured program suited for my limited time schedule, held me accountable and has been receptive on areas of adaptation due to my injuries. He has also shared a wealth of nutrition information that has elevated my ability to perform. Highly recommend Evan for a trainer/coach - he is very strategic, thoughtful in his approach, excellent communicator, and professional.

I started training with Evan in the summer of 2019. He was my trainer at a gym until COVID shut the world down in March of 2020. Currently, I work with him remotely. He is the best trainer that I have had. Always patient and willing to listen to my concerns. Evan is very knowledgeable regarding the human body. He is my biggest cheer leader.

Great trainer and a great person. Makes a big difference to train around someone who is very positive, high energy and really knows what they are doing.

Evan Nystrom is the best trainer I've ever worked with. He's flexible, adapts to meet the situation, and is excellent with elders. He knows the mechanics of health, physiology, exercise, mobility, and flexibility, and applies all of them individually to suit his clients. We've worked with Evan for several years, first in a gym, then as individual clients using the customized programs he developed for us. We wouldn't consider any other trainer. He actually CARES about his clients, each and every one.
He's helped us maintain our fitness even well into our 70s. If we could give 10 gold stars, we would. Evan can't be beat.

I have been working with Evan for a few months now and am very pleased with his professionalism. I had limited knowledge and experience with working out/lifting and he made the process of learning interesting, fun and easy. Highly recommend him for anyone looking to get into better physical shape!

Evan is a very thoughtful and easy going trainer. He has helped me through a sports hernia and is getting me prepared to become a competitive athlete in Spartan racing.

Evan has a wholistic approach to training, not just focusing on the workout side, but blueprinting a lifestyle change that aligns with your goals and that works within your means. He has a critical eye when it comes to performance, and knows how to tweak things to get the most out of you.

If you are thinking about personal training, I’d highly recommend talking with Evan and seeing if he’s a good fit for you as well.

I have been working with Evan on and off for 4 years. He's an incredible trainer who really listens and makes plans for you and your body not just for everyone like some trainers do. I have a lot of physical limitations due to a brain condition and Evan has helped me now 2x get from being basically bed bound to the best shape of my life. We worked in person for a year and now are working virtually since I moved and its still the same great quality of workouts. Evan is great and I think a great fit for anyone.

As an athlete of 24 years, I’ve never had a coach focus on not only my strength and conditioning but also my every day life. Evan has an intense passion to help build a healthy lifestyle for me and challenges me to make better habits to ensure success. He focuses on my training in the gym, how well I sleep, preparing me for racing my dirt bike and what I’m doing to recover after, while also encouraging me to evaluate the quality of what I fuel my body with. I’m loving his specialized program and the results I’m seeing! Thank you, coach!

I selected evan as my trainer for his “not everyone can train the same way and achieve the same results “approach. Evan dives down to your personal lifestyle to create a plan/goal, uses data points & studies to find the most effective ways to increase mobility first and then maximize those gains in the time frame that you wish to accomplish your goals.

His communication and understanding of your lifestyle makes his approach to coaching/training make you feel like you have the wheel and he is just in the car letting you drive versus telling you what you need to do and expect to do it or not mentality. You want a long lasting, Injury free training plan with a focused trainer, give evan a moment of your time and you won’t regret it.

Evan is a great trainer and an even better person. Working with Evan has changed my whole workout dynamics in a such a beneficial way. As an athlete I am very particular with who I train with and I would recommend Evan for many reasons. He cares and wants you to achieve your goals the best way possible. He does not have an ego and when you’re working with a trainer ego is a deal breaker. With Evan, he wants you to ask questions because when you ask questions that means you care about getting better. The cool thing about Evan is that he wants me to learn why I do some workouts and why I don’t, he wants me to learn what benefits the body instead of just giving me a program and telling me this will you make you better. Evan has introduced me to a lot of new ways to better myself and without him I would have never been challenged to try new things.

The best ever!! Seriously, working with Evan is like no other training experience. He is always expanding his knowledge to help his client achieve the goals they want. He is dedicated and compassionate, he inspires he’s client to push through every obstacle they may face through their fitness journey. Through his continued research and training he is able to put together completely unique training programs that work and fit for any individual willing to train with him. I would highly recommend him for anyone who is willing and ready to commit to a fun, informative, and rewarding training experience.

I was a college athlete at Oregon State University for 3 years, played professional baseball for 8 years and love that style of training. Evan has been training me for 3 years and really opened my workouts with data approached and catering to my athletic style to really help me achieve my goals! He pays attention to detail and really sets your workouts for the person he is working with, not a cookie cutter program! There is nobody I would trust more with my fitness needs. Things I accomplished with him, my first Spartan race(4 miles, 30 obstacles), my first super Spartan race(10 miles, 40 obstacles) back down to athletic body, building lean muscle.

Evan is an exceptional trainer. He is extremely detail oriented and uses a data based approach with everything he does. I’ve worked with Evan over the last 3 years and I couldn’t be happier. He has helped me battle through multiple shoulder injuries and a back issue while still maintaining a high of performance.

Whether it’s general health and wellness, performance fitness, or help tying it all together with nutrition: Evan is the guy.

Evan is a pleasure to work with and is extremely knowledgeable. He doesn’t use a one size fits all model, but tailors his program to the individual’s goals, abilities and body type. He has deep understanding of energy systems and has the ability to apply that understanding to develop the optional programs for his clients.

He has me on 4 week cycles that focuses on specific things I need to improve on. The workouts vary in each cycle and never get stale. He takes the time to explain why he is programming specific workouts for me and how it applies to the energy systems, my goals and my abilities.

I use Evan as a compliment to Crossfit workouts in order to work on areas that get overlooked doing only Crossfit workouts. He also provides me nutrition coaching. In the time I have worked with Evan I have resolved some nagging areas of soreness and injury, improved my core stability, improved my Crossfit performance and lost a few pounds.

I can’t recommend Evan enough for anyone who is looking for a coach who will take the time to get to know them as an individual and put together a program where they will not only see results, but thoroughly enjoy the process with Evan
