Fixology Fitness is a fitness center dedicated to helping the residents of Mill Creek, Bothell, and Everett WA to achieve their goals, regardless of what they may be. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to maximize productivity and has the most advanced equipment, along with a talented team of instructors, trainers, and coaches to assist our clients with their fitness journeys.

I started with Kirk three months ago with four specific goals: 1. Reduce inflammation and bloating. 2. perform physically demanding work without pain. 3. run once a week for 5–6 miles pain-free. 4. gain muscle while losing fat. His plan was straightforward and sustainable — small, smart changes, habits and exercises that were easy to implement. The results have been life-changing: the bloating and inflammation that bothered me for years are gone, I no longer experience pain or weakness while doing my job, I can run 6 miles without pain, and my body composition has improved (lower BMI and noticeable muscle gains). Kirk understands the whole body and tailors his guidance to address all the underlying issues. I’ve gotten better results with him than from any doctor, physical therapist, or functional doctor I’ve ever worked with. If you want someone who’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and results driven. He is the best of the best and worth every penny and more. I can’t recommend Kirk highly enough.

After looking at dozens of trainers, I decided on Kirk because of his background in the medical field and how he didn't feel like the typical trainers I'd met at a big gym. Glad to say I absolutely made the right choice. From the 1st day Kirk was great at answering all my questions without using pressuring sales tactics. On the rare chance Kirk doesn't know something he will go out of his way to find out. He kept his gym incredibly organized and clean, and had a tool for every possible scenario. Kirk is well worth the time and money invested. Only regret I have is not coming sooner.

I can genuinely say that Kirk is fantastic! Coming off of an injured back, I was looking for a PT that was going to tailor my workout to me and what I needed. He asked about my previous injuries and trouble spots, my goals both physically and functionally, and created workouts that helped to strengthen my core and back, build lean muscle, and lose weight.

If you want someone that is approachable, knowledgeable, and will get you results without the stereotypical 'bro' mentality, Kirk is the right choice for you!

Kirk is a great trainer. He puts in effort to understand your fitness goal and will design workout regime accordingly. His approach is also data-centric; you will have a baseline data to compare with as you proceed with the workout plan. I noticed significant amount of weight loss and muscle gain at the end of the plan as compared to my initial journey. He is also familiar with human anatomy and has a good knowledge of nutrition. His instructions are backed by rationales which helps one to understand the steps and apply them later. This helped me understand which muscle group to target and engage, and how to correct the posture. His feedback on nutrition helped me reconsider my then diet type and encouraged me to opt for a more balanced diet.
BTW, I also found his playlist cool!

I found Fixology on Google & decided to do the free first meet session and am so glad I did.
When first walking in I mentioned to Kirk (the owner) that I am very skeptical of trainers as most I have worked with don’t listen and try to make me do exercises I have explicitly said I can’t due to a back injury. Kirk took this in stride and not only listened to all my concerns & limitations into account but also asked how the different exercises were feeling on my body.
There was no pressure to sign up for any future sessions as Kirk lets his work speak for itself.
Since that first session I have done a couple of private sessions, got my significant other to join me in couples sessions & now am doing weekly group classes. I have even gotten my late 70’s Dad to start working out with Kirk to help keep functional movement & maintain muscle. I also recommend Fixology to anyone I meet who is looking for a good trainer / workout program.
Kirk is great at making sure the right muscles are being activated & will adjust your form to activate those muscles and help prevent injury. He pays attention to the way your body moves & understands that the one size fits all approach (that many trainers use) does not work for everyone.
Since working with Kirk I can feel myself getting stronger and have not aggravated any injuries.
All in all, I am so glad I found Fixology & would / do recommend Kirk and Fixology on the regular.

Love Fixology. I took my son here to get sport specific strength training for football, baseball and track. Kirk quickly identified and corrected some weaknesses which helped him excel at his sports. He also set all time school records this year in track. The gym space feels new, clean and has all the best equipment including an infrared sauna. Kirk’s personalized approach along with his easy going and positive attitude make him quite possibly the best personal trainer in the world.

Kirk at Fixology is truly one of a kind. I have never met a personal trainer with so much knowledge and skill and who truly cares about his clients. He goes above and beyond any of your expectations and really works with you where you are at. Kirk is amazing!! Best trainer I've ever had because he knows the body so well and how to avoid injury as well as correct technique.

I've weightlifted for years and never knew I was doing standard exercises like bench press and squats all wrong. He's really helped me avoid injuries, improve technique, and increase my overall health. Can't recommend strongly enough!

Kirk is not just an average trainer, he’s highly knowledgeable about the body and musculoskeletal system; he can quickly find your imbalances and helps you correct those before moving on to more complex exercises. Have been working with Kirk for a while now and I have nothing but good things to say about him. From my first class with him I knew that he is SO dedicated and absolutely loves what he does! My sister and I have been taking classes together and we’re VERY SLOW learners when it comes to lifting since our posture isn’t the best. Kirk is SO extremely patient and he will find a way to make things make sense and so you get it right. Both my sister and I work physical jobs and he’s taught us stretches and massages to help us. He is SO well rounded and SO knowledgeable. He truly is the best in his field. I have lost fat and gained muscle, I truly have never felt more comfortable in my own body. And also at the gym! I had major gym anxiety from lack of knowledge and also my form.. but now I go in with SO much confidence and truly feel a huge difference in my workouts. Without any weird pain in my body from not knowing what other muscles needed to be engaged. I look forward to more sessions with Kirk! He also plays the best music & has a very fun personality. Working with Kirk for 3 months and I am proud of the the results. He got me to lose 20lbs in that time. Now he’s got me wanting to lose more weight and I’m excited to. First trainer I have had that made me excited to work out cause the results show and I feel better about myself and what I eat now. It doesn’t feel like a hassle he makes it fun.

Amazing experience! I had never worked with a trainer before and I was pretty nervous about how weak I was to start off with, not knowing how to properly do things, if I’d feel comfortable and safe, and what the style would be. As soon as I met Kirk I was instantly put to ease.

He isn’t the stereotypical gym dude, not even close! He has extensive knowledge of anatomy, and I would have various aches and pains from past injuries and he could tell me why something was hurting and how to solve it. While we worked on strength and flexibility, he also met me where I was and customized what we worked on based on how I was feeling. Working with Kirk felt like a mix of working out and also physical therapy/rehab.

As far as Kirk’s style and personality - you can’t find better. He is super low pressure and authentically cares and educates as you go, teaching you how to fish so to speak. He became a friend along the way, and is just a really good person all around.

I can’t say enough good things - and also, most importantly - I had a ton of great results that I could feel and see in my photos.

Kirk has an incredible understanding of the human body and how it works. His training as a massage therapist and physical therapist meld perfectly into personal training. I went to him with pain in my hip/low back and heel, yearning for mobility and to be pain-free. He listened to me, explained how he could help, and got me moving. As a person who has hurt myself repeatedly during exercise in the past, Kirk has made sure I stay within my limits to continually progress. He especially made sure I wasn’t swapping one injury for another by making sure I was using excellent form and always felt the work where it should be felt. I leave each session with new exercises, knowledge about how my body works, and RELIEF from pain. I’m so thankful to him for helping me! I look forward to continue working with him as I achieve current and future goals on my journey to fitness.
