great place to work out in a small town. nice that it has a pool, hot tub, and tanning bed. the machines are somewhat dated but it does not lack in everything needed for a full work out. only reason it's not 5 stars is because sometimes I come in here and the music is up to 100 and I can't even hear the music from my own headphones. also I think the shower curtains should be replaced. they're very old and dirty. otherwise great place.

edit: this isn't the gyms fault but the men here will leave extremely heavy weights on machines and not reset it so if you can't lift 100lbs, good luck using the leg press. sorry if I leave the 100lbs weights on the ground. I can only lift them enough to get them off. maybe post rules about being polite and considerate to others. lots of elderly people workout here as well.

In a small town there are not the broad amenities larger towns enjoy. In Elma there happens to be 2 different fitness centers. Although Get Fit is an older establishment they do have a pool, hot tub and sauna. The equipment is not brand new however it all works as much as you want to work it. They also are part of the "silver & fit" program which is great for seniors! I would encourage anyone to be a part and start feeling better.

I personally like the sauna. It's a great place to "burn out" a cold!

Not fancy. No frills, but it's a good clean place to work out, and is very reasonably priced facility. Has a pool and hot tub (but I haven't used those yet. Never crowded. I've never had to wait for a stationary bike or elliptical machine.

outdated equipment and nothing is clean, I wanted to use the pool and sauna area but it does not feel safe. Anytime Fitness is way better and is very clean - they actually answer their phone too!

My membership has been placed in a frozen status on numerous occasions for ridiculous reasoning, such as a member had reported smelling cigarette smoke from inside the changing room/shower area, when I myself no longer even smoke cigarettes but I was denied access to the gym even though my membership had been paid until I had a chance to actually reach & talk to the owner, which honestly took a couple of weeks to actually be done, when the whole time I had no access to the membership I had already paid for having & actually had also been double charged for that month in having but now less than one month later have found that my access is now once again been restricted & can not be accessed.

Cleaning needs to be done better in the shower areas i pull wads of hair out the drain alot the floor needs a mopping and the paper towels is empty more often than not in the tanning bed area other than that quite a amazing experience,also wish there was a window in tanning bed booth it gets so so stuffy after a session.

Indoor pool, hot tub & sauna. Plenty of machines & free weights. There is an additional room for just ladies if you are self conscious. The staff is super pleasant & the members range from buff 20yr olds in gym wear to 80yr olds in jeans. There is something for everyone at each fitness level. 24hrs always open. I love this health club.

Super super disappointed.
Looking around for a nice gym to join here in East county. We like to make money here and spend it here. I contacted Get Fit. To my surprise their membership costs are extreme. 59$ for the first month for one person! 128.99$ for 3 months!!
The real deal breaker is that the only way Get Fit will give a person looking to buy more than one membership a break is if your buying for a couple?
A guy cannot buy to memberships at discount for he and his buddy or for he and a girl-friend? This is unfortunate and will only lead to people lying about being in a relationship. Some people will have a problem with this commit. Some people will understand. They informed me that there's a need to keep the lights on and that's why there's a price difference between buying a membership for your girlfriend and yourself or yourself and a buddy? Well now instead of spending my hard earned money on a locally owned business I'll go to Anytime fitness where not only are they cheaper but they don't care if your in a relashonship or not they will give you a discount for buying more than one membership.
