I highly recommend Gorin Tennis Academy. I have been taking private lessons from Coach Lior for 7 months and he has really helped me improve my tennis skills. He has a unique way of breaking down each skill so that you have a thorough understanding of the mechanics involved. Coach Lior is by far the best tennis coach I have worked with, I cannot recommend him enough. I also enjoy the many classes that Gorin has to offer. It is great that they offer classes throughout the day and evenings to accommodate busy schedules.

In general this is a good professional tennis club. Coaches are friendly and knowledgeable, and they do a great job motivating the kids and improving their skills. I did have some concern on the club changes its policies quite frequently, and the prices have gone up multiple times in recent years, but I understand some of this may be related to economic hardship and inflation. That said, I really appreciate the effort of their front desk manager, Deepa. She went out of her way to help me request an exception from the owner so we could cancel one month of lessons which is a bundle package which based on the new policy I have to pay a lot of money for cancellation. The owner considered granting an exception for my son because he had an accident and hurt his elbow pretty badly. Of course the exception can’t be made, at least not in a smooth fashion without Deepa’s help. Her professionalism and willingness to advocate for families made a big difference, and I’m very grateful for her support.

My son and I were new to this facility. We started with future star red ball with the whole month sessions which turned out not a good level for him. We then joined the coach specified group. However, because I registered the whole month, I can't get refunded using the app. I called and luckily Deepa helped me to get through the process and we were refunded eventually given its coach's suggestion. The management team is extremely responsive and professional, always ready to help with any request. Deepa works at the front desk. She is wonderful, incredibly kind, attentive, and quick to return calls. She always does everything possible to make sure your child feels comfortable and supported.

There is also a great lounge area where parents can relax during training sessions, which makes the whole experience very convenient for the family. All conditions are created both for children’s professional tennis development and for parents’ comfort.

My 7-year-old daughter joined the beginner summer camp at Redmond Gorin Tennis this year, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. It was her very first time trying tennis, and she absolutely loved it. The facility is bright, clean, and everything feels new and well-maintained.

What really made the difference was her coach, AK. He’s not only professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly funny and engaging. His teaching style sparked a genuine interest in tennis for my daughter, and she came home each day excited and proud of what she learned.

I really enjoyed my Express Tennis Course for adults here! The program is budget friendly for total beginners as Gorin can lend you rackets to start your very first few lessons.

I want to give a thumbs up to Deepa for helping me with an issue I was having as a newbie using their court reservation system. First, let me explain that I am part of a group of pickleball players that have been routinely paying and using the courts at this facility for 3 years on a weekly basis. We've collectively probably spent ~$15,000 over the years as they have changed policies and the fee structure -- increasing the cost every year. The cost to us has basically doubled in that timeframe. Along with the changes came a new court reservation system. I used the system as a guest and I accidentally reserved for the wrong day. I didn't realize it until later that night and left a message. The long and short of it is that I ended up having to call back a couple of times to follow up because their mysterious Russian "general manager", who is never available, kept trying to force me to buy a membership before she would allow me to make the change. Deepa tried to explain to her that it was my first time and so, mistakes will happen. She kept texting her to let her know how I felt about the situation and it finally got resolved, but only with my frustration and Deepa's help. So, my kudos go to Deepa for helping me with this situation. She's a 5-star employee at a 1-star facility which is why I am giving it 2 stars. Thank you, Deepa! Gorin Tennis Redmond -- you could do a better job of taking care of your regulars.

We started at Gorin Tennis Academy in Redmond three years ago for our kid, and it’s been a great experience. Over the years, he has consistently attended lessons a few times a week and truly enjoys coming here. The facility is well maintained with quality courts, excellent coaches, friendly Deepa at front desk, a comfortable waiting area for parents, and clean restrooms.

The coaches are highly experienced, having played at a competitive level, and they explain techniques in a way that’s easy to understand. Their focus on clean technique and fitness has really helped my kid improve.

I also attend adult group classes regularly, and with the guidance of the supportive coaches, my own game has gotten much better.

My friends and I had a frustrating experience at the Gorin facility. We had reservations, and the game ran over by a few minutes. There wasn’t anyone waiting, yet someone on the tennis court next to us asked us to leave. The person claimed to be an employee of Gorin but refused to give their name. We called and tried to extend our reservation we could not reach anyone. We were also unable to extend the reservation due to limitations of the app. We were willing to pay for the extra time, but we were still asked to leave the premises. We didn’t make anyone wait or cause any inconvenience.

We are regulars at Gorin, and this kind of experience is disappointing. We’re not sure if this particular tennis coach or member had an issue with pickleball players.

Our game ran a few minutes over, and despite noticing an empty slot, we were unable to book additional time. There was no one at the front desk, and customer service was unhelpful. When we questioned their credibility (such as their name), they refused to provide proof of their association with the facility. This is insane. I scheduled court rental at the night of 11/19 when the whole city is in electricity outage. I called to unschedule, no one responded so I supposed there’s a power outage on their side as well. The reviews below about billing system and refund are so true. I opened an account few weeks ago and had already encountered wrong bookings under my name. They don’t allow you to remove your bank account so even you don’t actively use them you still need to pay attention in case they mistakenly book classes under your name (purposely or not). It’s a lot of effort to monitor, call customer or email them to get the classes cancelled. Not to mention the pricing is unreasonably higher than other places.

Update 5/20/24: I appreciate the reply from the business owner, however it is not accurate that customer care will simply issue a refund. If you can provide me with an email address I will share the correspondence from RTC administrators refusing to refund me over $500 back in January.

Know what you're getting into before loading your credit card info on their site: you will NEVER get a full refund. They pre-charge you for a month in advance and then if you ever cancel, bye bye dollars. Their policy states, "Players who cancel more than 24 hours in advance will receive credit back into their account to use to book for additional reservations, classes, or other in-store offerings."

Also, there is no way to remove or alter your credit card info on the website. The feature to remove payment has been disabled! So shady.

And they only accept payment from 1 person for group privates, so I am a bill collector from all the players in the groups. It's a mess.

Worst facility ownership in the area. Had league tennis match which required us to play next to several active pickleball courts where the noise was so deafening we couldnt hear eachother talk or call balls or scores...couldnt hear lets...line tape was rolling up all over court. People were banging on gates to our court while waiting for pickleball... Facility ownership would not accomodate at all. This facility shouldnt be allowed to host league play. Not a safe or productive environment to compete in.

Goring Tennis Center Redmond is an absolute disaster. They have no concept of punctuality, always keeping you waiting and making you feel like your time doesn't matter. BE CAREFUL! They will STOLE your money! I only went to Gorin tennis at the Bellevue one. But somehow I suddenly got registration confirmation emails of for Redmond class and it’s a private class with a coach I never knew! I called them immediately but there’s only voice recording machine answering. Connected with them the next day and they canceled my appointment and said I will get refund. But it’s been almost 2 months and I still didn’t see my money back! Called three times and every time they just told me their manager is taking care of it, when I asked can I directly talk to the manager and the answer is NO! I cannot delete my account or my bank information in my profile by myself. Worst experience ever!

My account info and balance was stolen and I received consecutive registration confirmation emails of my kid for classes which I never registered. I can not call them successfully. They only let me leave voice recording. I do not trust them and can not delete my account by myself. They told me they will issue refund to my credit card, but it never happened. It has been two weeks and I did not see my money back to my card. I am so disappointed.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER.
I was a beginner in tennis, and I went here. 3 coaches changed over a span of 4 months. Every coach was instructed to teach me from the basics. That is 3 times, all the same drills redundant, even if you are able to do them. That’s 3x the money and they keep you at the same level. I got a coach elsewhere and I’ve progressed SO MUCH more than the four months I was there. They are just cash cows, they purposely don’t teach you more so that you’ll advance and need lesser classes. Also, most of their coaches are teenagers, or really young. They spend all their time on phone, they do not know how to teach, they are not interested. They are not professional coaches. I spent 30%-40% of my time gathering balls and waiting for my coach to come back after drinking water, or using phone, and such.
They have a few coaches who have a lot of experience, but they will not tag you along with them. You will have to specially ask for that, if you choose to go here, please ask an experienced coach even if you are a beginner. Do not ask for anyone new.

They said they'll credit me $100 tennis lesson, but never did. My daughter couldn't make it one lesson, and I called the coach in advance. They said all will be taken care of, no problem. Waited 3 days, called them again, nobody knew about it. Tried to escalate, but they told me they opened a ticket that need to be approved first. Called again, but no status on the ticket.

Overall, they stole $100. They lost my trust.

Evidently, they aren't too interested in getting customers. I had a hard time signing up for open play. I found their website confusing with no mention on website to use CourtReserve app to sign up. I tried calling but they don't answer the phone, the voicemail box was full, so I finally just drove out there. They could improve publishing when open play is, and making it possible for someone to sign up. I found it to be a horrible customer experience just for the sign up.

When I signed up the day before open play there were only 4 of 40 spots taken. Eventually they did manage to get 17 players total for a 40 person availability for Open Play session.

As for playing there. The indoor PB is on Tennis courts that have been lined for PB with temporary nets. Overall, not bad but not a true PB court either. The price for open play is $23 for 3 hours which is a bit high based on my experience playing at true PB facilities, but scarcity rules the pricing, I guess.

I will go back because there are few other indoor options here in Seattle area. There is lots of room for improvement though.

My daughter has been going here since few weeks and their grouping of kids at various levels is completely messed up, My daughter did not feel challenged at all and there’s a huge gap in player level that play on the same group. On top that, I didn’t notice the coaches correcting the technique or helping kids play with correct form, most of the kids were hitting with no proper technique whatsoever. If they practice with incorrect form, they'll get proficient at hitting that way and the classes are not cheap.

I really like the instructors here. Marcos' techniques are really effective and the exercises he has you do are fun too. Siggi and Alex have also been helping my husband improve his tennis game (he's obsessed!). I didn't realize how accomplished the instructors are until I got to know them more. This facility is really nice and secluded. I will be enrolling my young daughter soon into one of their Dot programs (I visited while some kid classes were going on and the children were having a blast while exercising!). I was just introduced to Pickleball here a couple of days ago and it's so much fun!

Bought 8 pack (8 week expiration) for Saturday classes. They had tournaments on few Saturdays, due to which classes got cancelled. I lost one class since the package expired (on 5/30). Requested to extend the package to attend the class on 6/1 but got shut down by member representative (after staying on the phone for 5 minutes and explaining that we could not attend the classes since they were cancelled due to tournaments on couple of Saturdays. Probably one of the most unfriendly customer service so far).

I guess as the clubs get bigger, they lose the personal touch. Have been the club member since Day 1 (and have seen the journey since the tennis courts were being built). BTW, 2 stars is for customer service. Would give 5 stars for facility/coaches..

If you're looking for the real deep tissue massage Doris is the person for it. I had muscle knots in my upper back. After taking the tissue massage it felt more relaxed after months of tightness . Doris is very knowledgeable ,I personally recommend her to anyone looking for massage.

They keep adding members and did not increase any courts rather recently added so many programs that member has almost no chance to have court book in decent time in the week days.
