I have been visiting this lovely studio and their excellent teacher for about three to four weeks now.
I really enjoy their class. The studio is clean and peaceful. After class, they allow you to enjoy some quiet time alone at the studio, and you don't feel like they're rushing you to leave. It is a beautiful place with good people.
I wish they offered a meditation or sound-healing class on the weekend. It would be a wonderful way to end the weekend. Overall, it is very good.

I joined Hot yoga Inc. long time ago . I have enjoyed their hot yoga classes off and on but recently noticed that all my joint pains are relieved due to heath therapy . I just feel better when I take classes a few times a week. Staff are professional, studio is clean and check in is easy . I specially like when they let me know of their special rates . I highly recommend hot yoga inc because this is an hour that I have to myself to check on my wellbeing of body and sole. Thank you Hot Yoga Inc

I really like the 6am sessions. It’s a great way to start the day. All the instructors are nice and professional. The heat level is great. It’s much hotter than other places around here. The studio is clean and spacious. The community of practitioners is well diversified with different age groups, genders, ethnicities, and physical abilities— which is very nice. I’ve been practicing hot yoga for over 10 years, and over 2 years at this studio. This has been the best one. I’m so glad I gave it a try. Now I call it my yoga home!

I started my yoga journey at HYI last year and I’m completely addicted. It’s helped me so much with muscle pain, flexibility, and toning. I genuinely feel the difference!
I absolutely love all the instructors and the team; they’re super welcoming and professional. The studio is always clean, and the classes are hot , like really hot , which I love! There’s also a great variety of classes to choose from.
I just wish they had more 8 am and 7 pm classes, so I could do yoga each and every day. It’s hands down the best hot yoga studio around!

One of the worst “first class experiences” I have ever had. Pilates and pure barre and other hot yoga studios around the studio delivered better customer experience than this. I wanted to try it and when I walked in, no one gave me a rundown of what practices were before class and at the end of the class. There are certain knowns for regulars like the fact that the cooler areas are in the front of the class. When I couldn’t breathe, I tried leaving the room to take a break and that’s when the instructor suggested I love to the front because I was not allowed to take breaks as “that would ruin the flow”… This was 30 minutes into the class. After class there was no customer guidance or understanding on whether I liked it and whether I wanted to take future classes. The instructor gave zero care to the students and definitely had favorites. Plus she kept getting air herself and taking breaks the entire time. As a teacher / student relationship I would have expected more care especially in a class where students can easily feel stressed or uneasy. All in all I would have expected the studio to be more informative and give more care to new customers. I will not be going back.

Hot Yoga Inc is more than a workout—it reveals your nervous systems role in all of your relationships

Most relationships involve some mix of avoidant or anxious attachment. Practicing here has helped me see those patterns in myself—in others—in my relationships, wanting to flee, seeking reassurance, comparing, or shutting down. While challenging yourself in the heat, you learn to stay, breathe, and regulate. It’s vital for survival to remain present with not only yourself, but a room full of strangers who are also pushing themselves to the furthest depths of discomfort.

This studio has deepened my physical practice, but the real transformation has been mental and emotional. If you're looking for growth beyond the mat, this is the place. Inclusive and non-judgmental, allowing growth at an individualized pace.

Bonus: Coldstone is down the street

Update: This was a processing error from their side. They rectified the error and had refunded the unauthorized charges. Thanks!

Had a really bad experience with the hot yoga studio in Mill Creek. I canceled my membership on March 24, 2024, but to my surprise, I was still charged today due to an auto-renewal. This is extremely frustrating — if I hadn’t noticed the charge, I’m sure they would’ve kept charging me every cycle. It’s not rocket science to remove someone from auto-renewal once they’ve officially canceled. I really hope their team does the right thing and refunds this unauthorized charge.

I have had issues with my joints and was recommended hot yoga by a friend. So after a long hesitation I signed up and am so glad I did. The first few weeks for me were challenging as my body was adapting to exercise in the heat. And as I was hanging in there, it gradually got better and better. It’s been almost a year with consistent practice and my joints now feel much better. Moreover, I’ve noticed not only I’m more flexible and balanced, but also my endurance and cardio fitness have greatly improved without sacrificing my joints. I like that the place is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. The instructors are pleasant, experienced and very helpful when it comes to correcting your postures. Overall, I have a very good experience with Mill creek Hot Yoga. My only regret is to not give it a try sooner. From my experience, I recommend you to try to stick with it in the beginning. Once your body adjusts, it is so worth it.

I have practiced at HYMC for 4 years. This studio has changed my health and mental clarity. I have traveled to many studios in and out of the country HYMC is by far the best I have experienced. The teachers and staff are excellent. The studio is beautiful. The combination of heat from the infrared heaters and the challenging classes will push you past your current physical and mental limits. I would like to encourage you to come try the different classes available!! If it gets to hot just stop drink some water and rejoin as you recover. Your mind and body will thank you) If you are new to this studio the middle row is the hottest area..you will be directly under the infrared heaters. The front and back rows are not as intense. Bring plenty of water!! Enjoy.

I've taken classes at multipe HYI locations over the years, and the Mill Creek location has an awesome set of instructors and convenient parking. As usual with HYI, they tend to have some of the best heating units, floor quality, and cleanliness. One thing that sets the Mill Creek location apart is that the massive windows provide alot of natural light. HYI has a spectrum of difficulty levels, and you can always lay down and rest if things get to challenging. The other benefit of HYI over places like Tru-fusion ect. is that the instructors provide a large variety of stretches rather than going through the same flow every time. One area or improvement that I could think of is providing sound baths or workshops as other HYI locations have done in the past years.

Thank you HYI for years or quality service, specialized staff, and rejuvenating experiences. I couldn't recommend a better place for injury prevention and staff that works with you at your level.

Too hot ! Too humid! These are the remarks I often hear from new students. Hot Yoga Inc. IS the hottest studio in the PNW. But it is leveraged by great teachers to provide you both a physical and an emotional experience. For example- Emily who teaches the Saturday and Sunday morning classes puts together an intentional flow that has a great balance of heat and air; effort and rest; coaxing (not pushing) you to your physical capacity and at the end providing enough time to provide words of reflection to help you throughout not just your day but your life. I have been practicing at this studio for more than 10 years and the teachers there has helped me get through the toughest times of my life (unbeknownst to them). Hot yoga Inc is not just for your physical practice, it is also your mental, spiritual, and emotional practice that you try to improve daily. Lots of love to all the teachers there!

Infrared heat is where it’s at!! The mental stamina that I have learned is a completely unexpected benefit of the heat here. Because of Hot Yoga Inc, I am a much better surfer, spearfisher and free diver. The breathwork in the hot room cured my asthma altogether after 6 months of 2-3 days per week of practice, an affect that continued even during a 5 year stint when I wasn’t practicing regularly. The physical practice has strengthened and lengthened my muscles and is a terrific accompaniment to active sports and weight training. A member on and off for over 12 years, I have seen the atmosphere change over time. Today, Hot Yoga Inc’s owner, instructors, and regular students are open and welcoming. I’ve been to 5 different hot yoga studios and this is my favorite. On any given day, the classes are an even mix of body types and ages—some practitioners well into their senior years. I can’t recommend it enough!

Love this hot yoga studio. It seems that the best and worst reviews seem to be centered around the increased levels of heating at this particular studio. As someone who practices hot yoga for the heated aspect, I appreciate the investment they’ve made into their heating system. One word: DANGEROUS.

Do not practice here. Of the 4 classes I've attended, I've been able to complete 2. Even when practicing hot yoga you should be able to do your postures and complete your practice without feeling like you're body is panicking from the heat. Don't let these instructors make you feel or believe like you are neither fit nor hydrated enough for these classes. Don't let instructors tell you to not leave the studio when you are feeling dizziness, nausea, and very near vomiting. These are symptoms of heat exhaustion and incredibly dangerous. Don't let anyone convince you that hot yoga studios generally have floors that feel like they are burning your flesh off. This is not normal.

I would like to clarify with the utmost seriousness that I am not a novice; however, the instructor treated me as if I left the class because I have little experience with yoga. I have been practicing on and off since age 15, vinyasa, hatha, kundalini, and bikram, as well as traditional forms less popularized in Western culture. I am also former yoga and fitness instructor and a retired military service member who has worked out and taught overseas is some of the hottest parts of the planet where the air outside is actually 120 degrees Fahrenheit. After giving this place a few attempts, it became clear to me that this place capitalizes on ignorance, inexperience, disordered perspectives of fitness. It is astounding to me how many of their patrons believe that this is what yoga is supposed to be like. Yoga is not supposed to be torture nor is it supposed to bring practictioners to the brink of heat stroke.

Additionally, I was seriously concerned about hygiene and cleanliness in this studio. The floors gave off a weird smell akin to sweat mixed with urine.

Really least of all my concerns was for the general attitude and airs of some of the instructors. There were some genuinely nice and caring instructors here, but the rest give off a very superior and unwelcoming attitude. And if you're expecting any level of customer service, look no further than the door. There is zero care for people who aren't throwing their money at them. The rest is fake niceties to keep fools coming back for more torture.

I regret spending any of my time and money on this studio. Please don't make the same mistake I made.

What this studio will do for you: prepare you for a trip to India during the summer.

Yes it is hot. Yes it can be challenging. Yes, those of us who love this are slightly insane. But working through the insanity in the hot room makes for a much more calm and balanced life in the rest of the world. Learning to be okay with being uncomfortable, finding out how to let go of your ego and just accept what is in the moment isn't easy, but if you are willing to work toward this you'll have more joy in your day and sleep better at night. The instructors here are all fabulous and the students create a caring and accepting community for any and all who take their place on a mat. I've tried many of the hot yoga studios in the Seattle area and am thankful to have found Hot Yoga, Inc.

Once you learn about infrared heat and the benefits you understand why it’s more intense. It’s a deep penetrating heat and you won’t want to practice anywhere else.

I don’t agree with some of the reviews on here, I watch some people struggle but there’s a loyal following of yogis here. I love the strong energy, my advice is pick a spot not directly under the heat and stay close to the door.

The more frequent you go the easier it gets! Once I started practicing at least
3x a week I actually got better. Morning classes are my favorite, I personally can’t eat before class and was trying to drink too much water right before which resulted in feeling sick.

There is something seriously wrong with the heating system in this studio. From a teacher myself, the temperature at this studio is at an unhealthy level, risking heat stroke even with plenty of hydration, added minerals etc. Every student I've seen at the handful of classes i have attended can barely practice half the class, which defeats the purpose of yoga and practicing at a studio. Not to mention, everyone complaining about it after class, you would think the owner would do something. I burn my feet anytime it's off the mat, which means the heat is closer to 150 degrees. It's also impossible to practice ujjayi breath! The studio is a health hazard and teaching hot yoga irresponsibly.

Linda has not communicated with me about my account. She does not care about my health or well-being, and has not responded to my letters about someone using my account when I had hurt my shoulder. She has made no effort to solve this problem. 06/09/21

Linda before I paid 10 dollars a month then I paid 304 dollars for the promotion for 30 classes. I was injured in my shoulder at work and that’s why I could not come. I would like back my 27 classes. I didn’t see or sign any policy saying it had an expiration date. Your hot yoga is so hot I can’t use it for the full time. I also think someone has been using my account. If I don’t get this resolved soon I will be going to small claims court.

This place holds such a deeply sentimental place in my heart.
I've come to associate this studio with deeply personal transitional periods of my life where a spiritual "rebirth" is necessary:

Every heartbreak; every emotional, spiritual, physical breakdown in which I've felt completely and utterly alone and lost and hopeless

Hot Yoga Inc has been there with that dang 10 classes for $10 deal which has served as an enticing gateway to me picking myself up off the floor (literally) and getting my sh*t together again.

I can unequivocally state that this studio has saved my life- and very likely, multiple times.

When Washington state was abruptly placed on Covid house arrest
I grieved for the loss of Hot Yoga Inc like I was losing a beloved friend and a mentor.

I spent all year rotating between feelings of bitterness in isolation and anxiously awaiting some nightmare revelation that the financial strain on our small buisness owners would be too much = indefinite closure.

*Thank GOD* that bad news never came.
The instant I learned that their studio doors were open to the public once again, (with limitations)
I cried tears of joy like a crazy person. 🤪

I've tried other studios over the years,
They're either
1)Not hot enough,
2)Their flooring is inappropriate/too hard
3) Not enough mirrors, and/or they don't go low enough to the floor level which makes it virtually impossible to visually track posture and progress within pose
4) Weird vibes

The only drawback with Hot Yoga Inc is that their prices for classes (even prior to Covid ) leave a significant strain on my budget,
and are often double the costs in comparison to their local competitors.
The location being in a premium real estate is likely a major factor
(Millcreek town center)
and after a year of being closed, it is understandable that they had to raise their rates even higher to recuperate costs.

Perfectly understandable, but YIKES! its still a big ouch.

So for now,
unfortunately I'm sucking it up with a different studio during the week and I'll treat myself with periodic drop ins on the weekends when I have the extra $$ to splurge.

Average temperatures for hot yoga studios are between 92 and 105 degrees. I had to leave this class early because they had it going at 120 degrees! I was literally shaking for a couple hours after I left. I was told not to leave but I ignored the instructor and thank god I did. People - LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. And do not feel pressured by any instructor who tells you differently!

Research proves that activity performed in external temperature above 110 may cause heat stroke. Heat stroke may occur when the bodies core temperature exceeds a safe temperature. Flooding the room with cold air is potentially dangerous to a person who is suffering heat stroke or exhaustion as it may cause micro shivering which continues to increase the core temperature. Research shows that Health benefits are reached at 105 degrees. Why does this studio want to increase the temperature as high as 120 degrees and then flood the room with cold air?
It is very obvious when the room is getting close to 120 decrease when a persons mat and towel are too hot to stand on. My feet actually got burned during a class requiring an intervention and inability to wear shoes for a few days. I have been taught to trust my instructors and never leave the room, so I didn't. Ugh. The most concerning thing is the melting marks on the floor. I am not sure what material the floor is made off but I can not find any flooring material that melts in a temperature below 150 degrees. That means the floors are way too hot and explains why my feet where burned.

Most of the instructors are positive and cheerful. There are a handful that have stood at the counter and negatively spoken about their students, in front of or to other students. I have seen this on more than one occasion with more than one instructor. Very sad.
It really creates a hostile environment which seems the opposite of the purpose. No instructor should be discussing any student to anyone but that student.
Also frequently the instructors are late and the classes go over the time. One minute really makes a difference, especially in the mornings.
Thankyou for your time to this and I hope that no one suffers heat exhaustion from this studio.

I’ve been doing yoga for over six years now, and I’ve been through 200 hours of yoga teacher training, and I can’t believe this studio exists. If you want a corporate, exercise fitness torture class? Maybe this is the place for you? Instructors kept telling me “I’d get used to it” but after seven classes, I actually didn’t want to. I couldn’t believe how many people going regularly had very clear eating disorders, and it makes sense, because this studio encourages you to be uncomfortable/in pain/in danger/have an unhealthy relationship with your body. That is not what yoga is about, and every instructor I had seemed confused about our purpose being there.

First, they have no yoga blocks for any of the classes, which is already cheap and dangerous. I watched people do all sorts of contortions (bad for backs, knees, etc.) and no instructor so far has offered any suggestions for alignment to keep participants from being injured. Sure, the 10 for $10 is a great deal, but the Mill Creek studio is so hot that the heaters have burned the floors black—they’re an actual charcoal color. If you touch the floor at all during the practice it will burn your skin (I had pink spots afterwards). I can’t believe how dangerous on so many levels this is— it’s so hot that I often got dizzy (I’m in great shape, marathon runner, very low blood pressure) regardless of how much water I drank, and the instructors make sure you know you’re not allowed to leave the room. What?! The temperature is not regulated but you can’t leave the room, even if you’re dizzy or about to pass out?

The worst part is that when I aired this frustration with the yoga instructor, I was gaslighted into believing that it was MY FAULT that I couldn’t take the heat. There’s an air of “you get used to it” or “you must not be tough enough/in shape enough to handle it” that every yoga instructor I met embodied. He basically just started talking about himself and his own “journey,” which is to say, this self-torture helps him? He manipulated me into signing up for unlimited monthly, and after hearing from the studio every day while I was still on the fence, I can’t get a call back to cancel. There’s no one working in the office. I’d be surprised if they even care who I am after I started shelling out money, which just encourages the feeling of corporate, gross, capitalistic appropriation of what can be an empowering and life-changing practice.

They say that the classes run 105 degrees, but I brought in a thermometer and the class hits over 120 when all the yoga bodies are sweating. This is beyond dangerous. I never write reviews, as I know most studios are just trying to make a business, but after being gaslighted, manipulated, and after understanding the culture of self-torture that they call “yoga,” well— I wanted other consumers to be warned. If I could ever get a call back, I probably wouldn’t have even written this, but the business practices are shoddy, the studio itself is dangerous, and I can’t believe the blame they place on their participants. Gross.

Go somewhere else, compared with core power and other yoga studies in the area, this is by far the worst studio I’ve been too with general cleanliness. Not to mention they set the heat to a ridiculous level. Most studios 103-105 is perfect for any vinyasa flow. This is way hotter than 105, The floors you can barely walk on. At least market it as being that hot so people know

Great experience with the sign-up 10 for $10. The instructor was top notch. Reasons for a 2 stars include the floors were not cleaned between classes. For the normal monthly charge would have expected that service. The floor was on fire hot, not sure what it’s made of...never have had that experience in hot yoga studios. As others commented it felt hotter than 105 and doors were opened to regulate temp.

After visiting for the firs time I was shocked by the intensity of the heat. IT WAS INSANE. I have been doing Bikram yoga for years now, and never in my life I had to leave the class for 10 minutes, which disrupted my entire experience. The teacher kept opening doors which was also very disrupting. If you have a normal heat system you shouldn't have to open doors 10+ times during a session. I ended up being dizzy and nauseous, and it took me 30 more minutes after class to get back to normal. I am very disappointed, and all that the staff said was "you'll get used to it" and "our owner wants it to be the hottest yoga studio in the area". I am not sure whether the owner is aware of the health risks this prideful statement might carry with itself. Beware.

i have practiced hot (bikram) yoga in multiple studios in different cities, states, countries and even continents. In my 7 years of practicing I have never come across a studio that has such a HUGE PROBLEM W THEIR HEATING SYSTEM. Oh don't get me wrong, I LOVE THE HEAT. But this studio either has a heating system that is designed to torture by creating the sensation that u are being cremated, OR, teachers have not been educated on how to control the heat. I have complete 2/10 classes so far and both times the teacher rotated around the class opening the doors and closing the doors constantly. This is so distracting, and frankly as a doctor I believe it can be dangerous! U are greeted by 120 degrees, then suddenly a cool breeze hits u and ur circulation reacts and then again 120 degrees. If u are not new to hot yoga u know very well that his type of hot/cold shift creates a feeling of nausea and lightheadedness. In both classes that i attended almost 1/2 class was sitting down at some point. To make matters worse, the FLOORING IS MADE OF HEATH CAPTIVATING MATERIAL! so when u hit the floor series u are greeted by a floor hot enough to cook an egg! It's so hot it hurts soles of my feet when i try to walk in and out of the classroom. PLEASE IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER MANAGING THIS STUDIO FIX YOUR HEATING SITUATION. Keep the heat constant. I am happy to go back when heating is fixed!

One of the best Hot Yoga studios around in the entire West Coast and Washington. The Mill Creek location specially stands out because of its windows and bright lighting. I like looking outside when its raining and cold and being in a heated room, enjoying the heat. The teachers are professional and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable always greeting me with a smile. The manger Alysea, has been helpful numerous occasions and has always addressed any concerns I had about the studio. She has their class schedules online updated weekly so I can pick and choose what teachers/classes work best for me. The classes are for all levels but my favorite is Power, as I get the best workout and stretching all in one hours time.
One of the hottest studios around but you get used to the heat after 10-12 sessions, just make sure you bring your water bottle and hydrate every time before class. Dont give up after a few classes, your body adjusts to the heat.
After 6-8 months of this you will be in the best shape of your life! You will be amazed at the results! The best part is the 10 day trial, ask for their specials. Highest recommendation if you want to try Hot Yoga for the first time, this is the place to try it.

It seems to me that they have no ability to control their heat system. The one time I went it had to be a good 115-120 degrees in the room. That is way too hot for Vinyasa flow which is supposed to be taught at around 105 degrees. The studio is attractive, the teacher was solid, the prices are decent, decent music and lighting but when the heat is so hot that you have to lay down for half the class everything loses it's allure. I've been practicing yoga for 17 years, I've done a ton of hot yoga, I've never not been able to complete class. I couldn't complete this class due to the heat. It was oppressive. I was dizzy and ill. It took twenty minutes after class to regain my composure. If they can fix the heat this place would be perfect.

I have been a member at this yoga studio for the last four years. When I first started going there I fell in love with it. The energy was inviting the teachers were positive. friendly and took the practice very serious. Even though it is super expensive to practice there it was worth it. The studio is nice but the ladies bathroom is tiny. Within the last year or so it has changed, most of the instructors are novices and not good (if you are a experienced yogi this is not the studio for you). It also seems to attract a younger crowd, almost feels like high school, kinda clicky and trendy (makes me think meat market at the club). Their is no consistency with the instructors, most are new to teachers straight out of the inc. school, or they are students trying to get their hours in and they are are terrible, they cannot design a good flow, or give decent instructions how to get into the position. They have also changed the classes by adding a class called "sculpt" yoga with weights in a hot room with loud modern top 40 music. If I wanted to lift weights I would go to a gym. I started yoga 5 years ago to gain flexibility, strength, balance, and de-stress. But all the classes I have been to in the last 6 months have been disappointing. Their is always someone talking in the class having a personal conversation. Because of the changes in the last couple years I have decide to no longer renew my membership. There is a lot of competition in the area for hot yoga and in my opinion there are better studios.
