I had such a great experience at HOTWORX Federal Way! The studio was very welcoming, spotless, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and clean everything smelled—it was so refreshing. The saunas were all well-kept, the space felt inviting, and even the bathroom was super nice. I love that I can get the benefits of infrared sauna—like sweating out toxins, easing sore muscles, and boosting recovery—even while traveling. I was so happy to stumble across this studio! Giselle, the general manager, was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made my visit even better. As a Sweat Elite member visiting their studio, I truly enjoyed my experience and highly recommend it!

Love, love! Best workout ever I’m not one for heat, but this infrared heat is for real! I’m able to do deep stretches without filling pain, sweat out all my toxins!

I’ve been a Hotworx member for over 2 years at the Auburn Lakeland Hills location and always rave about it, the staff there is kind and helpful, and I’ve never had a bad experience until I visited the Federal Way studio.

The bikes at Auburn use knobs, while this location has a mix of knobs and levers. When I asked the front desk for help because the handlebars kept sliding, instead of kindly showing me how to use it, I was told the bikes are the same and that she used to work there. After some back and forth, she finally moved the levers and told me the bike was actually broken at the setting I needed, and I had to switch to another one.

If someone asks for help, especially with equipment that needs to be adjusted for safety and comfort, staff should be willing to give a quick tutorial, especially if you’re not even certain whether there may be a discrepancy in the bikes across the franchise. Very disappointed with the experience here compared to the excellent service I’m used to at Auburn.

I am in love with this place, great free weight area, and the saunas are well kept. Although it’s not your conventional workout to go through isometric and HIIT exercises with a video instructor, it makes for a change in your workout regiment. Michelle and her staff are very professional and keep the place well stocked and immaculate. Best part, 24 hour access! Can’t recommend this place enough. Earn your Burn at Hotworx Federal Way!

I started going to Hotworx in January, and after 8 months, I can confidently say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and wellness. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is incredibly friendly and supportive, and unlike other gyms I’ve tried in the past, I’ve never felt intimidated or uncomfortable here.
The workouts are efficient and effective, and I love how the infrared sauna sessions make me feel — both physically and mentally. It’s a unique experience that really keeps me motivated and coming back.

The aspect of being in a sauna while exercising is intense as well as rejuvenating. This gym is a no excuses gym because the workouts are high intensity for 15 minute durations. This is an amazing place to exercise, great staff, functioning equipment, and 24/7 access!

Workouts were great but not sustainable as far as losing weight.
My trainer recommended this place for cardio.
I am truly disappointed in the fact that I’ve been here for months paying $150 my wife and I.
I was told that after 90 days I can cancel at any moment.
What they don’t tell you is you’re on the hook for payments for the next two months.
There two month notice is really a hustle to get you to change your mind.
I’m truly disappointed that I have to pay $300 for a gym that I no longer want to be a member of.
I spoke with other members as they walked in.
They also said they had no idea what a coincidence huh.

Shannon was the person who signed me up. She was very friendly and professional. I really appreciate the welcoming environment. The owner is also friendly and welcoming. Customer service is top notch. I am looking forward to continue to go there for my workout as I am getting stronger everyday when I finish with the classes. The vibe at this gym is amazing. Not only are the owners and employees here fantastic the clients that come in are amazing as well. The workouts at HOTWORX are challenging but also fun and encourage you to do your best. This is no failure if you’re in there giving it your best. Coming from someone that has a bit of social anxiety this gym makes me feel welcome and ready for my next workout. I’ve been going to HotWorx for a couple weeks now. Michelle is amazing and always there to greet you with a smile, her team is fantastic too! It is a very welcoming place to be. It’s all maintained and cleaned well. It’s not uncommon to see them running around wiping things down and picking up. The sauna workouts feel amazing! I wasn’t sure I would enjoy working out in the heat as I am not one to enjoy hot weather… but it’s a game changer. The dry heat of the saunas isn’t bad at all and I feel so good afterwards! I love the variety of classes and the ability to use the open gym space for some weight training and even battle ropes! Price point in my opinion is fantastic! If you haven’t tried this place out yet, I highly recommend you do!! You won’t regret it!

Super disappointed. I signed up under a family account and was told by the owner, Michele, who signed me up, that I could cancel at any time since I would just have to remove my name. Just called today and was told that it NOT true- I have to give 2 months notice and come in to sign paperwork. While the workouts felt good, I wasn't losing any weight (I am now with Intermittent Fasting) and we just bought a house, so disappointed I have to carry this bill for another two months. So much for the family atmosphere :(

I've been a member for over 6 months, and am loving the results. Not only is Hotworx an affordable alternative to hot yoga, it's accessible and convenient. My favorite classes are cycling and rowing, I do both back to back for a total of 30 minutes for a quick full body workout! I get to sweat my worries away and get high on endorphins, take a shower and head to work. Michelle the owner is such a delight to see in the studio, and always available when I have questions about membership or payments. Definitely 5 STARS!!!

Talk about an uplifting environment to grow yourself. The staff at hotworx are so kind and helpful, walking me through workouts and answering my fitness questions. The fact that this is open 24/7 and I can easily book my sessions online is a huge win for my changing schedule. It's also super cool that I can use the "points" from burning calories to buy products! I also love that the video workouts are 15 min or 40 min long. Even on the days I don't feel like working out I know I can do 15 min.

Hotworx has absolutely changed my life. I have been coming to this gym since they opened and it’s the first time in my adult life I have been able to stay dedicated to a regular workout routine! The space itself is extremely clean, organized and I feel safe no matter what time of the day I am there—with the self-locking doors, which only members have access to get into the studio. The staff is amazing, so helpful and friendly. The owner is so kind and very welcoming, you can tell that she truly cares about what she does and this place brings her joy. The Hotworx community here is awesome, everyone is lovely and it really is a safe space to be yourself and focus on your goals. As soon as I heard good things and saw progress on people, I decided to join right away. Justin was really helpful throughout the whole process and very thorough with the tour and explanations. Hotworx’s is the best workout I’ve ever done. But what’s even better then that is the upkeep and how it’s managed. Ive been to other Hotworx’s and this is my favorite by far. The cherry on the top is the staff are the friendliest and nicest crew around. I have been going to Hotworx since they opened. It is such an incredible workout and community! I have never done yoga before 🤣, but loved the concept of 24 hour availability, various virtual isometric sessions and the quick HIIT class options (rowing, cycling and an all over body bike/precore like machine) and a weight area. I love that you can quickly see what classes are open and book on a whim or in advance- this helps me with being consistent.The owner Michelle and staff are so wonderful! I generally do one HIIT class one ISO session when I go and feel so much better. The infrared heat has so many benefits. You can track your workouts and they have fun monthly challenges. Lastly, the cost very affordable for what you get- so worth the small monthly fee! Try it out you will not regret it ❤️🔥

Such a great idea and I was excited to take advantage of sauna. I’m within my initial 90 day agreement and want to cancel after that agreement time ends since I just can’t seem to get to the box more than 1x a week and don’t see that changing any time soon. Tbh the monthly is not worth that. Now, they are making the separation as difficult as possible costing me an extra 2 months of fees, at least. The “franchise owner” is the only one able to take my written notice of quitting and she’s not been there for me to do that. I could however give my account to someone else and let them take it over, which is a hard no for me. There is no reason for them to make this so difficult and I don’t recommend joining to anyone unless you will, for sure, be able to go more than 3x a week. Don’t ask questions and trust the answers from the employees. Read your contract as I’ve been directed to do about 50 times since saying I want to quit. They are right, if I had I would have known it was a scam.

I visited for the first time yesterday and I definitely stayed longer than the first free workout I came for. Experience was welcoming and exciting. The Freedom to sweat in private is wonderful😅.
