Indigo Yoga studio is a unique place in this small town. The owner has done a great job with interior decorating, you walk in and immediately feel welcome.
Past the main entrance is the studio. The floors felt squishy and warm, the lights were lit low, and you have all the extra yoga necessities in the studio. I love the spray bottles for post yoga workouts! The vibe and setup reminded me of another yoga studio on the west side that I loved.
At first the classes seemed fast paced and I can see how anyone would feel intimidated, but this is about your pace and what feels right for your body… after attending a couple more courses, you’ll learn the names of the poses and the instructor explains where to move your arm/leg, and it all might workout for you 💛

I want to give a shout our to Indigo Yoga and Cherie. I have been going to this place on and off since I moved here. In the last couple months since things have opened back up I have been going alot more. Cherie is a fantastic yoga instructor she has really made the space welcoming. The classes have pushed me and my body to do things I did did not think were possible. When they say yoga is Mind, Body and Spirit it's true, but I never really understood until now. I have learned how to breath, instantly be able to relax, that I do have a core and I am stronger then I thought mentally and physically. If you have never tried yoga, I strongly suggest that you do. This is my personal experience and I just felt I needed to share.

I’ve been doing LiveStream classes for just over a month, and I love them!! I heard about Cherie from a friend, and am so grateful for her, and her classes! It’s been a life saver during covid, and I hope she keeps offering the livestream option even as Ellensburg opens up a bit. This Seattleite loves a break from the sometimes-snobby yoga culture over here. I’d you’re in Ellensburg, go in person! And if you’re not, sign up online! ☮️

Great place! Took my first class and it was tough honestly. But the teacher and the students were so kind and supportive. I will definitely go back. Great thing to have in town
