Some of us don't want to think about what we are doing in a gym. If you are like me, you just want to show up and be told what to do, guided when you do it wrong, and motivated to give that extra push. Importantly, when you can't keep up (or your body just won't cooperate with a given exercise), there is no judgment if you substitute or lag behind. Industrious instructors have been UNIVERSALLY SUPERB in their ability to deliver an exhausting but rewarding workout in a 50-minute session. The layout of their HALO spaces give each person (sometimes partnered up) an individual space for working out that let's you go at your own pace, mixing and matching exercises if you need to make adjustments. TVs let's you know what exercises to expect through the session, which consists of four elements typically: Stretching, How-To (practice and warmup for that day's exercises), Strength, and Fitness. After retiring from professional tennis, including representing my country in the Olympics and competing at big events around the world, I was searching for a gym that would keep me motivated while also offering a great community. Industrious has been exactly that—and more. The coaches are so supportive and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is welcoming and uplifting. It’s not just about the workouts (which are fantastic), but also about the people. I’ve felt really at home here and can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a place to challenge themselves and have fun doing it.

Best gym ever. I tried many gyms before but never felt connected to any place as much as this. This place introduced me to strength training and made me fall in love with it. This gym made me fitter than I ever was. So many amazing and talented trainers in here. Love the flexibility of booking classes at non-home locations. I’m a member at lynnwood but also attended many classes at SLU location and it’s equally good. Easy to find classes unlike other cross-fits that are usually always booked days in advance.

I started working out with Industrious about two months ago and my only regret is that I didn’t check it out earlier. The equipment is exceptional, the facilities are clean and organized, and the staff are terrific. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. They take the time to get to know each member and go out of their way create workouts that are both effective and enjoyable.

The facility is clean and well-maintained with all the equipment you need for a great workout. One of the things that sets this gym apart is the sense of community that they have created. The members are supportive, encouraging, and welcoming to everyone regardless of their fitness level.

I really love this gym.

They are the only CrossFit gym I have ever joined, but compared to prior gyms (Orange Theory, Kickboxing, planet fitness 24 fitness) I have belonged I have had the best experience at this gym.

It is not cheap to attend, but the workouts are effective and worthwhile, and I am the most fit (and leanest) I have ever been. I love coming to Industrious, instead of feeling like I have to drag myself to attend like I have at prior gyms.

Everyone, coaches especially, have a positive attitude and they are good at helping you learn to use all the equipment.

When I first started out there was a big learning curve to learn how to lift weights, and to lift weights safely, and the coaches were great at helping me with that learning curve.

You also see a variety of different people at the gym, which I appreciate seeing a gym that welcomes both the very fit, and those just starting out, with diverse range of ages, ethnicities, fitness levels, and stages of life (a couple mothers bring their babies and workout with their baby in their carriers in their workout space; it is awesome that they have the space to do that).

Right now with the pandemic everyone has their own personal bordered-off workout space to workout in, which I also am pretty happy with.

While I was already in love with this gym before, I can't speak more highly of them now. After the recent wave of shutdowns that included gyms, Industrious management did an immediate about-face and offered us Zoom virtual classes 3 times a day, with multiple equipment/no equipment options (depending on what we have); these started a mere 3 days after the current shutdown was announced. Not only do I applaud their ability to go with the flow and succeed during challenging times, but the coaching and the commentary during the Zoom classes is so positive (but still real). If you're in a shutdown slump, I urge you to check these guys out NOW! :)

This gym is my happy place, my me time, my stress reliever. I've met so many amazing people over the last 3 years and I continue to meet amazing people. We work hard together, we laugh together, and we support each other in and out of the gym. The coaches are the absolute best and really care about their clients treating them like friends and family. Even though it is a group class you always feel that individual coaching helping you to modify if needed and ensuring you are getting the most out of your fitness journey. Crossfit Industrious is always reinventing fitness!! Times have been hard in 2020. One thing that has helped tremendously was the ability to keep working out during closure. Industrious jumped into action!! They loaned out gym equipment and sent our daily workouts to do at home. They were prepped and ready to open as soon as the green light was given, having set up high standards for sanitation and isolated space for each athlete. They also set up on demand workouts for those who felt more comfortable staying at home, and continues to allow us to rent equipment.
I have had two children recently, Industrious helped push me and motivate me to not only lose the baby weight I had put on, but become even more fit and strong than I was prior to having children.
They are a great community to be a part of and they are there to help each person individual their journey to better fitness!!

One of my favorite things about Industrious is all workouts are modifiable and the modifications make sense. All levels of fitness are welcomed and supported by both coach and fellow members. The community is amazing!

Industrious Work Hard Live Fit is the absolute best place to go if you want to get fit and achieve healthy goals. The most amazing coaches starting with Chrissy the General manager. I was always intimidated by the mystique of crossfit culture but bar none, Industrious is the best in the business. The community is welcoming and supportive. My body completely transformed after only 8 months. Now after a year and a half, it’s a lifestyle! My strength and mobility continue to increase, and at 50, I can still keep up and keep close with people 15-20 years younger! After now having traveled to multiple gyms, you will not find a cleaner, more well equipped, exemplary coaching, and better programmed gym. This is the warmest and most community-driven style gym I have ever been signed up for! It’s not just that either, their trainers are consistently professional and tailor the classes to every student’s capability. All in all you get an environment of He-Man and She-Ra looking athletes working out alongside people of all body types and backgrounds and it feels organic. It’s a high energy environment (which a good gym should be) but super positive. They’ll never make you feel like you don’t belong or you’re never going to “get it”. I’ve been going for two and a half years and am really impressed by their consistency. This is worth it if you commit. There’s no need to get prepared. They’ll outline a plan for you from the fitness level you’re at right now and if you stay consistent it will happen!! Such a positive thing for the world to have this place :-)

This gym is life-changing in so many ways and unlike any other gym I’ve been to (CF and reg). ALL of the coaches give the utmost attention to detail to everything they do...from an upbeat greeting the moment you walk in the door, to a detailed breakdown of the workout with modifications for anyone who’s new, to the clean floors and facilities...they’re complete professionals and love what they do. The family who owns the gym, Stephen and Molly, regularly work out there (kiddos too) and they greet everyone with joy, yet also authenticity. This gym is for everyone...whether your 100, 200, 300 lbs, whether you want to lose weight or gain muscle, or just want a life change and a new community, they immediately make you feel welcome and break down complex movements in ways that are do-able for anyone. INDUSTRIOUS SLU REVIEW:

I love them.

The facility is super clean (Coach Steve-O was sweeping the sidewalk, lol), and beautiful. Equipment is high quality, well maintained, and organized very clearly. They have space for organized classes and a space for open gym/drop ins that you can use through out the day.

I dropped in while Steve-O and Jeremy were coaching. Both of them are very knowledgeable and supportive coaches who make sure that everyone has a great class experience regardless of ability. No previous crossfit/fitness experience is necessary and they are more than willing to suggest appropriate scaling options.

Also they’re apparel is super cute and the music is great!

In full disclosure I’ve been a member of their Lynnwood location for about 5 years, but if I were a first timer I would give them 5 stars anyways because they run a tight ship and all of their staff are amazing (and I’ve dropped in at a fair number of places over the years) and if my experience at lynnwood is any indication you’ll have a great time!

I actually look forward to going to the gym now because of Industrious. The coaches and the other members/athletes have become true friends and companions. We don't just work-out and get incredibly fit together, we experience life with each other, we get together and hang out outside of the gym as well. That's because of the incredible support of all of the people who call themselves Industrious athletes and it starts with the coaches. The only type of person who does not fit in/feel completely at home in the environment the Industrious gang has created are those who are not supportive of their neighbors or enthusiastic and encouraging to everyone about being healthy and trying your best. Even if you are not naturally someone who cheers others on, you will learn to become that way at Industrious and it's forever life-changing, as life-changing as the amazing muscles you’ll also learn to develop while everyone cheers you on. It’s not cheesy or over the top, it’s just right. It’s an exuberant, funny, and warm environment. The coaching style is also hands down best in class, you’re getting personal training level support for the price of a typical studio membership which is at least half if not a third the price. I have had many moments in the 4 years I’ve spent with Industrious where I’ve had to fight back tears seeing someone do something so amazing and unexpected like the grandmother who was cheered on by her grandkids while she finished a Crossfit Open workout (that grandmother beat my score too and I'm in my 30’s - heck yeah!). I have worked out with full term pregnant women (myself included), grandparents, people on crutches, in a cast, or needing a cane to walk in the door. Don’t think you have a limitation that the unrelentingly compassionate coaches at Industrious can’t help you work around or overcome (SAFELY)…give it a try no matter what your circumstance is and allow your life to be forever enhanced. :)

I can say this gym is on of the best I have been a member of. While in the military I had the opportunity to join multiple Crossfit gyms and none can compare to Industrious. The best gym and work out you will ever get hands down! The coaches make every level athlete feel welcome, motivated, and accomplished. There is an overwhelming sense of care, support, encouragement, and family that resonates throughout the gym. The gym is also kept in tip top shape with new additions being constantly added and updated. Classes range from strength, conditioning, weightlifting, yoga, and high intensity intervals with scales and accommodations. As someone who's been in CrossFit for 9+ years and have visited dozens, I can tell you that CrossFit Industrious is one of the best all around CrossFit gyms in the world. The owners, Stephen and Molly, are incredibly passionate about their community, they work incredibly hard to give every member an amazing experience and help them to realize their goals. Haven't been there in years due to out of state college, but it is by far the best gym around. It's fun, energetic, and Stephen and Molly do a great job to cradle the idea of pushing people a little past their comfort zone and keeping a family-like structure at large. Wouldn't recommend any other gym if you want to be apart of a family and get a fantastic workout.

I spent about 8 months or so working out at Crossfit Industrious. Steve and Molly are fantastic coaches and super nice folks. I learned alot from the classes offered especially the mobility classes. They scale all the exercises to fit your fitness level. Definitely worth your time if you are looking to improve your fitness with a set routine and coaches keeping an eye on your form and scale level.

Crossfit Industrious became one of the best things my life in their first 6 months of business. My son trained me at home before that. After my 1st visit to the gym I was hooked. Molly and Stephen run the best crossfit gym around. They are amazing coaches who really care about their members and treat them like family. They have created an atmosphere in the gym where people truly care about each other and support each other. The equipment is the best quality and most up to date equipment available including ski ergs and true form runners. Their fitness programming is the best and so is the weightlifting program. I love this place!

This is the first and the only Crossfit gym I will ever go to! Words cannot express how awesome everyone at CFI are. The nicest coaches on the planet, very helpful and caring all around. My wife and I had to move down south and couldn't make the commute and so we did some searches in the Renton area for a cf gym and came up empty. So we decided to make our garage into an home gym and have been following along for 2 years now. Coach Stevo's programming is on point and I salute you and Molly for all the hard work that you guys do. Oh and we are so freaking jealous of the new gym, it looks fantastic!!

This is not your typical "crossfit" gym. The thought and care that Stephen and Molly have put into this gym are beyond anything I have seen! It really is a community and Molly and Stephen want the best for their community. They hire amazing coaches who go through months of internships before leading classes on their own. They are systematic with their approach to class structure so they can have lots to offer their athletes. They offer weightlifting, simply conditioning (think boot camp), simply barbell, their classic work hard live fit class (crossfit style), kids classes, and yoga!! You will always be greeted with a smile and get more high fives than you thought possible! It's not the closest gym to me, but I drive here because it's the best place to be!

The coaches and owners are enthusiastic, supportive, and incredibly invested in helping the athletes reach their goals. Probably has the best equipment of any Crossfit gym I've been to. Multiple platforms, comp bumpers, and Rogue euro bars make for a great Olympic Style Weightlifting setup which can be hard to find north of Seattle. Would highly recommend as a place to drop in for weightlifters as well as Crossfitters.

Ratings are important and being objective is key. Ive been to dozens of crossfit gyms around the United States and this one sets the standard for what all the rest should be.
1. Facilities are perfectly organized, always clean, staffed to accommodate a front desk and coaching staff, professionally designed and built with a focus on a complete and positive athlete experience.
2. Gym equipment is constantly maintained, of the highest quality and available to all athletes of any fitness level.
3. The coaching staff are required to be fully certified with mandatory and regulated internships, are always helpful and are selected based, not only on their ability coach, but by their character qualities.
4. Classes are to be kept strictly on time and start at 5am and end at 830pm on most days. Making this experience something that any busy schedule can attend.
5. Finally and most importantly are the owners. Stephen and Molly Hitt. They embody the physical abilities, character qualities and personality traits that drive this positive community that wants to, not just pursue fitness, but enjoy life with! They are business minded as well as people focused. Something so rare that I haven't seen it in all my years in the private and public sectors.

I first tried Industrious last year for their morning boot camps... I instantly fell in love not only with the workout I was getting but the environment, staff and service. I was brand new but felt like I was a part of a family. I took a while off due to a outside related injury that needed personal training and recovery, but drive by every day on the way home and wish I was participating in all the fun & hard work! You can walk into any gym pick up some weight and put it down and be done with your workout. At Industrious it's not just a workout, it's an exciting part of the day. Something to look forward to. My wife and I joined Industrious back in mid-2016 to train for a Spartan race with the thought of only doing Crossfit until our race a couple of months down the road. 8-months later, we are still going strong and love it.
