What has kept me with Jazzercise for the last twenty-eight years (currently in the lovely Seattle-Ravenna location) was the sense of holistic well-being after each class and the derived energy ready for me to tackle the day. The movement and music are always so much fun. The strength training is always rewarding. And yes, the community, friendships and the collective energy are always supportive and inspiring.

Have been participating in Jazzercise for 40 years. The instructors are inspiring and energetic. The work out allows a person to go high or low impact depending on their point in life (pregnancy, injury or age) Love the different formats, the many choices of times/locations and the convenience of working out from home!

I started back in Jazzercise in January after a 4-year break. Within 2 weeks, I realized how much I missed it! It is such great exercise- working every muscle group and building muscles I had long forgotten about. It’s also great fun!!

Jazzercise has completely changed the way I think about fitness! It’s energetic, empowering, and just so much fun. What makes it even better is that my mom comes with me — and she loves it just as much as I do. It’s one of the few workouts we can do together that challenges us both and still makes us smile the whole way through.
The routines combine dance, cardio, and strength in a way that keeps you moving and motivated, with music that makes you want to dance even when you're sweating. I love all the Seattle instructors; they are all super welcoming and always offer modifications, so it works for any fitness level or age.
It’s more than a workout — it’s a community. I call everyone my Jazzer-friends. We always leave class feeling stronger, happier, and more connected. Highly recommend Jazzercise to anyone looking for a fun, uplifting way to stay active — especially if you want to bring your mom along! ;)

I am 78 yrs old and started Jazzercise in my late 20s with Judy Sheppard, wearing leotards and leg warmers. I continued throughout my life, when I was working full time, when I was pregnant, raising kids, and now in retirement, when my daughter joined me. Jazzercise has developed over time from a basic dance class to a full fitness program that includes strength and weights. The magic of Jazzercise is its fun and flexibility. You can be young or older, go from a couple of days a week to daily, do high impact or low impact, light or heavy weights. Unlike other programs, the teachers are very well trained, have to test regularly, and the choreography is fun, and uses the best music and the latest in fitness knowledge and techniques. And last but not least, the people are so welcoming, the atmosphere so positive and uplifting that I look forward to every class and miss it even when I'm vacationing in Maui!
And now, no excuse, I can do it online !

I have been jazzercising for decades. The program is amazing with focus on building strength, cardiac endurance and flexibility. The music makes it fun, the instructors are upbeat and positive, and they change their sets almost every class so that one is never bored doing the same thing over and over. Instructors also choose between formats - so there are classes that will focus on strength and others that focus on cardiac and you know in advance what you are signing up for. On a personal note: I realized that I was getting weaker with age when I went to the Seattle REI and couldn’t open the doors by myself because they are so heavy. I was determined to get stronger to change that. The last time I went to REI I realized that I met my goal…it didn’t even take excessive effort!! Hurray and thank you to Jazzercise. It is an amazing overall fitness program. Come dance and sweat with us…

I love Jazzersize! It's the only exercise program I've stuck to coming up on 4 decades. I have not suffered any of the health issues many of my 70something peers have experienced. I credit Jazzersize and our professional and fun teachers!

I love Jazzercise! I have done it over the years in a number of cities, and Jazzercise Seattle is one of my favorites. The instructors are great, everyone is kind and welcoming, and I see the results! With regular Jazzercise classes, I am stronger, feel better, and appear more fit. Even better, Jazzercise is a healthy habit I enjoy which means I will keep coming back and will be fit and strong the rest of my life. There are different class formats, but you can plan to get both cardio and strength work in all classes.

I started out a newbie at jazzercise, with no dance experience, but here they always made me feel at home and have taught me so much! They have great variety in their teachers, a standout music set, and an incredible array of aerobic workouts for the mind and body. A mash of ballet, kick-boxing, weight-lifting, and stretch, the choreography and/or cardio is so much fun! I recommend this place to anyone looking to get back in shape, move better, gain endurance, or simply learn more about dance. And the instructors always show low-impact options as well.

The instructors are great! I take live classes online which is convenient, safe, and (imho) just as much fun as being there in person.

So. Much. FUN! Current hits mixed with more familiar tunes, all paired with dance-y routines that let me shimmy and shake! Overall a fantastic workout - and still feeling the glute work the next day. Really bright and airy studio, too, which was a plus!

I am so excited to share a great experience. I was out for a walk close to the University Village and I heard this amazing music. I followed the tunes and was standing outside Seattle Jazzercise. I peeked inside and was kindly greeted by Amy. She welcomed me to come in and check it out. Yes, I returned a couple days later and had a blast! The instructors and staff are amazing and the studio has all the equipment you will need for your workouts. The music will motivate you to jazz up your steps. They offer in person and online streaming classes so it is easy to find a workout that fits with your personal schedule. I am hooked!!

Seattle Jazzercise is such a fantastic workout. The instructors bring new routines weekly, and it's so FUN I forget I'm working out. :-) The ATD Studio space is beautiful and airy, with a massive garage door that opens for fresh air in good weather. 100% would recommend.

I have been attending Jazzercise for 20 years and feel strongly the program is why I am in great shape coming on 60. Classes consist of 40 minutes of fun dance routines and 20 minutes of hand weights, and are available multiple times a day. The people at this location are very friendly and committed to what they do. I am not sure why google shows a previous 3 star review, it doesn't seem to have any content.
