I started coming to Kutting Edge Fitness in 2020. I saw an article in the Seattle Times that mentioned them and I was in need of a safe place to workout during the COVID epidemic. Going to a location with a maximum of four people working out in a large space without the need to share equipment was about as safe as you can get. Kutting Edge has excellent trainers. The workouts are customized to fit the client's needs. In my case, emphasis on balance and strength were most important. Communications with Kutting Edge are excellent: very easy to book appointments online and if I need to reach out, I get a response quickly. They are as professional as you can get! I highly recommend this facility for the best in personal attention and getting the results wanted.

Looking to get in shape, improve your health, get stronger, and even improve your golf game, Kutting Edge Fitness is the place. Dan, the owner, and Cory, the manager are great! Love the trainers. Shout out to Floyd, Hannah, and Wes, who have coached and help me in my fitness journey. Gym is clean. Their model makes it, so it is never crowded. I highly recommend.

Alex's dedication in comprehending my needs and driving me towards my fitness objectives was truly remarkable. I found his personalized workout plans to be both challenging and enjoyable, and celebrating those small victories significantly enhanced my overall attitude towards fitness. His positive approach throughout this process was truly commendable. My training there was enjoyable and look forward to working with Alex again soon in a few months.

My experience at KE Gym has been exceptional, prompting me to write this review, something I haven't done for my previous gyms. After a workout hiatus due to my baby, I had concerns about restarting my fitness journey. However, Cory's understanding and attentive approach alleviated my worries.
I am amazed by Cory and Dan's dedication in providing tailored workouts. Their meticulous preparation, accommodating my needs, is outstanding. Despite missing classes, they have consistently shown flexibility and support without penalizing me. Their unwavering focus on helping me achieve my goals is commendable.

Over the past year, I’ve committed to getting stronger. I’m happy to say after completing 100+ classes at Kutting Edge Fitness, I’m very pleased with my results. Lifting weights and committing to exercising three days a week has changed my life. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the wonderful staff of trainers at Kutting Edge Fitness.
Prior to joining, I had a difficult time carrying bags of gardening soil, relying on my husband to do all the heavy lifting around the house. I was what you called, “skinny fat”. My weekly Pilates classes weren’t getting the job done. My growing children were proof that if I didn’t make a change, I was going to be left behind.
Today, I’m strong. Both physically and mentally. I credit my success to Cory, Alex, and Sam. They give me confidence to try new things and push me to do more, safely. (Although Sam is no longer a trainer at the gym, I still hear his positive affirmations.) Hannah recently joined and is a solid addition to the team. Each trainer has their own unique style to help you do your best. However, it’s up to YOU to put in the effort.
If you’re looking to feel your best at whatever age you are, I highly recommend Kutting Edge Fitness. Come learn new things, change will come! Consistency has been key for me, along with changing my diet, and drinking less. I’m happy to say, it’s all been worth it.

I had a shoulder injury which put me in physical therapy for about 6 months. PT referred me to Kutting Edge and I could not have been in better hands. This was my first experience with any private gym and they immediately made me feel comfortable. Their coaches came up with a custom plan for my specific injury and were able to adjust my workouts around how I felt any given day.
I would recommend anyone looking for a private trainer to give this gym a try.

I’ve gone to this gym for many years, due to trainers being trained in TPI (golf fitness), as well as use of the personal trainer approach. In all those years, I’ve never had any problems such as have been previously posted. Strict attention is paid to doing proper form and avoidance of injury, which is how a good gym should perform. This is not a gym devoted to merely machines. It’s an exercise boot camp at all levels, and an excellent boot camp at that.

After having a baby and not working out at a gym since before COVID, I was looking for a gym that would motivate and give me the personalized workouts I would need to get back into shape. Since joining KE, I’ve lost 65lbs and absolutely love it. Sam is an excellent trainer, highly recommend you check out KE! You won’t regret it!

My partner and I finally accepted that we have too little follow through to continue to cycle through a couple weeks of working out at home followed by months of nothing and started looking for a gym that included what each of us were looking for. I wanted a place where I felt comfortable (being in a gym full of dudes can just feel unwelcoming sometimes, you know?), could get support on nutrition, and couple improve my form and skills. He was looking for a place where he could build community, have accountability, and challenge his body to get great gains. During our trial period we realized how much we really liked the gym when he both work up at 7am to workout. That was no small feat, let me tell you. They have great add on services like nutrition, tempering, etc but you never feel pressures to sign up or buy more. Schedules are flexible and varied and they are constantly checking in and working to make sure they are meetings everyone's logistical needs. There are great member benefits, incentives, and challenges and it what I love most is how diverse and friendly people are.

I trained at Kutting Edge Fitness for a bit over 2 months, and it greatly improved my mental and physical health. The owner takes appropriate measures to ensure safety during the pandemic: The gym has good ventilation, is large, and occupied by at most 4 trainees in their designated grids at any time. There’s 15 minutes to wipe down equipment between each session. Highly recommended.

This is an awesome small gym that offers semi-private training tailored to your goals and skill level. Majority of the trainers are super cool and love what they do. Only reason they didn't get 5-stars is I've been a member for over 2-years now and have noticed that unless you're an extrovert, you will be overlooked when it comes to major milestones in your journey and milestones set at the club for members. The more extroverted you are the more kudos and recognition you get. If you don't need that kind of feedback, I highly recommend giving them a go. If you do, you may want to keep looking.

After a moderately serious back injury and months of rest and recovery time I started back at a private gym to assist in my recovery. Recently I moved up to the Kirkland area and wanted to keep the momentum going. After searching on Google for a place nearby my new home I stopped by KE Fitness to check it out. Everyone was very nice, not pressured, and the space seemed clean and in use. After attending the trial period I was hooked! Their instructor Andy is very knowledgeable, takes the time to learn about how your body works and what it needs to challenge, and keeps the sessions fun and interesting. Dan, the owner, is super nice and very attentive to follow up as well as provide information easily. The best part is that the semi-private classes are very focused on what I need. I haven't tried the group classes yet due to my injury and the limited class times, so the semi-private sessions are the way to go for me. So far very impressed!

Awesome gym - Dan is an amazing owner and I would strongly recommend any golfers to try this place out. Their semi-private workout program is really topnotch and they build custom workouts based on your body deficiency or asymmetries. Couldn't recommend them any more!

I decided to join Kutting Edge Fitness after realizing I couldn’t get myself to go to a traditional gym. I missed the feeling I got after working out, but couldn’t get to the gym on a consistent basis. Kutting Edge offers group classes that are challenging and fun. The classes required me to “sign up” which helped hold me accountable; now I consistently attend classes and am back in a routine of working out. I highly recommend Kutting Edge Fitness! Kutting Edge has dedicated, personable trainers, a top-notch facility , group classes and custom semi-private classes. A little of something for everyone!

Very strong sales skills. But read your contracts very very carefully before you sign it. The staff is polite but the owner cares more $ than your actual fitness needs. Watch out if you ever get hooked into a sit-down appointment with one of the owners.

Today was my first official semi-private workout at Kutting Edge. I loved it. Adam was great! They do more then just tell you what exercise to do, but show you how to do it correctly and why you are doing it. Highly recommend.
