I'm going to terminate my membership if they don't start providing disinfectant spray and towels to wipe down the equipment soon! All they have is hand sanitizer gel and wipes. Not adequate!

Having worked out at LA Fitness for years (West Seattle, Burien, Southcenter, Redondo, Federal Way, Tacoma, Bellevue, Kent and Kirkland), this is by far my favorite. Unlike some of the larger, flashy locations, this is straight to the grind, mutual respect, community type vibes. By far the best staff as well. Morning, afternoon, evening, weekends. Theyโre always on point. They talk to the guests, remember names, always offer to spot. As long as Kyle is the GM, Iโm rocking with this location

This isnโt a typical LA Fitness. Its very run down: holes in the walls, lockers that donโt work, locker rooms in bad shape, very old equipment and a lot of lacking equipment. I like coming here because its close to home and not very crowded. The staff is nice but I can only assume owners donโt have either the care or resources to keep it nice and competitive. Better used if standards are low.

The hours suck. There is a problem with credit cards and items being stolen from lockers and there is 0 security. The machines are ok but the building is falling apart.

Great employees here. I've been helped by Khamari the manager and he always does an amazing job. He is a great representative of the company that is always willing to help out and has a great attitude. The other employees have also been kind and respectful. Obviously trained by a great manager!

Went intending to join. Arrived early enough to see the staff "clean" - using a leaf blower to blow dust and stuff around instead of vacuuming... Also, there was the a strong odor smoking...(420).

I visit this facility often. The bothell location is small compared to the millcreek location and doesnt have a Sauna.I only ask that they keep their facility open a little late. They close at 4pm on a sunday and 5pm on saturdays.

Pros:
-Less crowded than other LA Fitness locations.
-Actually gets less crowded after 6pm.
-Better types of equipment than a Planet Fitness.
-Cheaper than other options.
-Not typically too long of a wait for specific equipment.
Cons:
-Kind of gross. It has that sweat-soaked body odor smell at all times.
-Some of the equipment is in need of an upgrade.
-The locker room (men's- can't make any claims regarding the women's locker room) could use some refurbishment.
-The whole place has an appearance that says it could easily be made substantially better with a short shutdown period and remodel, but based on a conversation with one of their employees it seems like the whole point of this location is to get people to join and then go to other LA Fitness locations.

I like this location because it's relatively less crowded than other locations; the machines are older but work. I wish LA would tell their members not to bring their gym bags inside the workout room to stall on one machine while they are using another machine, then when you need the machine where the gym bag is they tell you they are still using it and that's what the gym bag is for. This happens in all locations, specially in Lynnwood. This location is not so bad. Bathrooms need more cleaning.

Never ever go with a personal trainer here. The Bothell gym is ok for some workouts as there are quite a few equipments
but the personal training is a marketing gimmick and a total eyewash.
My trainer changed 3 times in 2 months which completely disturbed my routine and rhythm. My last trainer was limited to Mill Creek location and I did not have "access" to that so I had to stop abruptly.
Most trainers seemed amateurs and were unable to understand our limitations and idiosyncracies from an anatomical standpoint.
The personal training cancellation was another convoluted process.

They ask you to mail in a form to cancel you membership. It's 2018 guys, saying you're incapable of doing via email or phone when I live in another country and can't make it in person is ludicrous. You should hold yourself to a higher standard of customer service.

Horrible experience cancelling my membership, 3 months after it expired naturally and they are still charging my bank account. After talking with management 5+ times in person and writing a letter and 4 phone calls, in was forced to get a new card at my bank........ it is their "policy" to not ever cancel and to force you to stay a member..... horrible business ethics... and for 3 months the facilities were filthy, going weeks without so much as a spray down of the locker rooms showers... hidden cameras in the ceiling? !!! Check it out for yourself...

The gym is decent. Machines are relatively old, 1/4 of them down for repairs, but enough of a selection you can get by. Interior is pretty ragged. Insulation on the walls is falling off. TVs on the walls are old and not formatted correctly, half of them are hazy and miscolored. Staff is available, but the only interaction Iโve had is when I check in. Weights are decent. Nobody curling in the squat racks. Desperately needs a remodel, or an expanded location in Bothell. It may be worth it to drive a few extra minutes to Mill Creek.

LA Fitness sold me a 6 month "Master Trainer" package in February this year but gave me a master trainer for only 1 month and continued to charge for a master trainer for the months after. Since Feb I have had 5 different trainers completely messing up my rhythm. I had to chase after them to change me to a non-master training package as they were not able to provide a master trainer even after 3 months. This month they double charged me for the "master" and "regular" sessions and are refusing to refund the full amount. Awful customer experience.

The staff at this LA Fitness is one of the friendliest I have ever encountered. They genuinely make an effort to say hello and good bye as well as respond to any needs that the members have. The only reason it's not a 5 start is because a few of the treadmills need to be replaced since they are consistently malfunctioning and do not keep the speed you choose. Also their scale sticks so the measurements are extreme from one day to the next. Overall I really enjoy this location for the classes, staff, and selection of work out material.

The staff is absolutely wonderful, i'll say that first. However this is a very small gym great for a beginner. Very crowded on saturdays here. If you want basic this place is it! NEED MORE STAIRMASTERS!!! They only have 2, every morning it's a brawl to get to them first!
This gym is subpar: old, dingy, lacking in the equipment department (i mean they don't even have a hack squat!). If you are looking for basic workout equipment you are set. They have a group exercise class with the schedule available online.
This place has 2 redeeming qualities: it is very convenient for me and the staff is very nice - EVERYONE that works there is great!

This by far is the worst choice for an L.A. Fitness in the area. Mill Creek and Lynnwood are far superior. However, it has the essentials for a good workout. Kettle bells are not locked up, huge plus. I'm told there are several group classes here not to be overlooked. Staff are very friendly.

How in the heck are all of the other la fitness closed at 8 on the Sundays, and this gym closes at 6? Not only is this gym old it closes early. I could deal with all of old equipment, the weights still weight the same, but keep the same hours as the gyms around you. The people that pay their member ships would appreciate this gym to keep in line with other la fitness hour. Fix this and I will be happy!

Been coming to this location for a couple years now. You generally have what you need equipment-wise to get a quality workout, but it's a smaller gym and can get stupid crowded during certain days and times. All gyms do, but the real estate here is limited enough to make it worse.
There are usually one or two machines out of order on the cardio side of things. And the place isn't the cleanest, especially in the bathrooms.
Still a decent place to work out if you can avoid the lines.

Do you think this is an LA fitness? They just turn this place to have bad reputation compare to other gyms.

This place is just plain filthy. If I was the district manager for LA FITNESS, I would fire the manager of this place and then I would fire myself for not even checking to see if things were clean. The men's locker room carpets haven't been vacuumed or cleaned. The tile area of the men's bathroom is also filthy and shows that it hasn't been washed in weeks or longer. The feet of the equipment are dusty and the floors are filthy. It seems that LA FITNESS has no standards for caring about their customers. However, maybe they are on their way out of business and this is just the first sign.

Five of us middle aged gals decided to join Vision Quest in Bothell and start our own โboot campโ. This gym is relatively inexpensive which suits our budget conscious minds. Everything is clean and orderly. The staff is friendly, helpful, encouraging and not at all pushy. We meet up twice a week mid morning to workout together and find it very motivational. We have taken a couple of classes but generally use the machines when we are together. This is a nice place to go that is budget friendly and well kept.
