This is a very nice gym with lots of equipment and pretty well. Maintained, I was kind of skeptical based on the. Reviews, but.
Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the amount of equipment different types of machines and
How maintained it was? One thing I would say is that this gym is crowded, but not as crowded as Bellevue. LA Fitness.
I think the Jean was relatively clean and pretty spacious. Well, designed, and I like the fact that
They have done a good job. Hiring an employees, all the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. I'm really going above and beyond to help overall

I will redact and/or remove this review as soon as this one simple thing is fixed: Please put signage and enforce people slamming their weights specifically on cables and machines. It is not the same as dumbbells or barbells. This is how equipment breaks and when it does, it puts a huge strain on the gym-going experience for all of your patrons. Maybe having a rotating floor monitor would help.

Poorly managed operation. No toilet paper in any of the men’s locker room stalls. Place is filthy and no paper towels. I spoke to someone at membership desk and they couldn’t care less. Such a shame because it’s a decent gym. I don’t know about it being a Signature property?

This place has really gone downhill. Not worth your $50 a month. Equipment is consistently down for extended periods of time. Good luck getting on a stair-master. Over half have been down for some time now. On top of all of that the equipment is filthy. Towel service which you pay extra for is hit or miss if you will be able to get one. This place needs to be closed down for a day and professionally cleaned.

They’re honestly one of the dirtiest gyms around. Just look at the photos. And I’m not exaggerating — that same candy wrapper sat there for five days. That says a lot.

Tried to go in again to this gym, I haven’t been to this gym in a month since this incident occurred and will never go back. Getting glared at by Jesse when he knows he’s in the wrong is diabolical.

2/4/25 - the fact that this gym picks and chooses who they respond to on these reviews shows how they lack empathy for humanity.

I’ve been a member of LA FITNESS for about 13 years, but today (1/29) was the most racially charged experience I've ever had, all because of Jesse in personal training. I don’t care about his ethnic background, what matters is that he treated me disrespectfully. I'm Black, my father is White, and he's 74 years old, about to undergo knee replacement surgery. I brought him to the gym to use the recumbent bike, just to get him out of the house. But I was treated as if I were trying to train him. I understand there are procedures to follow, but it felt demeaning and unnecessary to be judged and mistreated simply because I, a Black woman, was helping my White father with a machine.

I even told the guy at the front desk when my dad signed the waiver that my dad would be working out, and yet, he went on to tell Jessie that I was training my dad. For Jesse to approach me as if I were some kind of thug or criminal was completely uncalled for. He basically read me the riot act, telling me to stop without even knowing what I was actually doing, just standing next to my dad and helping him. To then tell me I was training my dad was diabolical.

Maybe Jesse thought I was “stealing” and “preying” on a potential clients for his team when he was told this, but all I was doing was helping my dad adjust his knees on the pedals, setting up Netflix on his phone, and trying to connect my Bluetooth headphones for him then I was talking to him for like 5 minutes about the Lincoln Lawyer show he was watching, mind you, my Dad is a senior and likes to talk. After that, I did my own workout on the treadmill for 40 minutes. Watch the cameras. Watch them!. It’s hurtful and honestly cruel. The way this gym operates is incredibly disappointing, disrespectful and unprofessional. Just because someone’s trying to help a senior citizen doesn't mean they're trying to take clients from you. I expected better from a an establishment I frequent and a brand I’ve been loyal to for so long. My father is 74 and hasn’t been to a gym since college, because these are the same type of people who bullied him when he tried to workout, why treat us like this? Do better. He was disgusted and I had to do all the talking, but he shared he will now never enter a gym again because he isn’t welcomed.

Horrible gym!

It’s a great gym, I’ve been here many times. Equipment all works. It’s clean, the staff are mostly friendly.
But the price and the subscription model seems a bit “lock in” if you ask me.
I signed up for a subscription, for which I pay monthly, and on top of that, there is a yearly charge. I do not like that. I went there for a month, And I moved. So I canceled my subscription, but I still had to pay the yearly fee.
Things I was not made aware of when I originally signed up.

VERY DIRTY GYM.
The sauna is FILTHY in the men’s side.
The wooded walls are stained black and moldy 🤢
and the floor are COVERED in nasty residue from God knows what. Clearly never gets cleaned.
The locker rooms STINK and are GROSS.
The showers are generally a health hazard. ☣️
And the bathroom stalls are old, ugly and dirty.

It’s very clear ownership takes zero pride in the cleanliness of this gym, and it shows so much.
Very gross place to work out, glad I only purchased a 2 month membership.

Do not recommend.

I’ve never been to such a bad the guy name Jessi is extremely rude and unprofessional , he actually approaches members and accuses them of being trainers just for working out with friends. The rest of the staff isn’t any better! they’re rude and unhelpful.
On top of that, the gym is dirty and poorly maintained. Be careful when signing up for anything here they’ll trick you into a year-long contract without clearly explaining it, and then refuse to let you cancel when you stop coming. This place is trash. Save your money and go somewhere else

This place has really gone downhill since they changed the facility manager ~6 months ago. The dryer has been done for two weeks now, so no towel service (which costs extra). How long does it take to call a repair person? 1/2 of the treadmills don’t work. Most have yellowing signs saying maintenance has been scheduled (sometime this century). Others need their legs adjusted so they don’t shake (not very difficult to do). Others have loose belts waiting for someone to get seriously hurt. Weights aren’t racked after the place closes leaving everything all over. The staff is very pleasant and the cleaners really try. But don’t go Tuesday at noon when it’s packed. No soap. Mud in the shower. Toilets packed with excrement. If you don’t need a pool, try PF Fitness. It is cheap and maintained.

Update 9 of 16 down and of the working tv's going out. 02/27 18 machines down 3/8: same 3/18 (10) ellipticals down. 4/7/25: More ellipticals broken and the "working ones" ready to break as well the monitors going out. 5/13/25: The same status 6/17: Same, no repairs at all 10/5: About 4 of 18 ellipticals functional

TLDR: predatory personal training membership structure, friendly, but possibly not well-informed staff.

To be clear, this review is not pointed at staff, trainers, or facility itself. I've had a very good experience with all of the above. My complaint is with the predatory nature of the personal training contracts. I signed up for 3 personal training sessions a month under the pretense that I would be able to pause the membership when I was out on work travel. As far as I knew this went off without a hitch the first time I needed to do it. (I didn't check my bank account for charges) I recently tried to pause it again and was informed that they had changed the rules and I could no longer pause memberships. I asked to cancel and was told I needed to come in. Upon meeting with training membership staff I was informed that I had never paused my membership, I could not cancel until my year is up, and I couldn't even cancel preemptively, I had to come in after my final payment had posted and cancel in person with the training staff.

Additionally partway through my membership the membership structure changed such that I could no longer book sessions I didn't have "banked". For example if it's the end of the month and I want to book my session for the next month after my 3 sessions populate, I can't. This makes things very difficult as the trainer I was "sold" on from the beginning is always booked up. To deal with this problem I added a 4th session over the phone and was given no guidance as to weather or not I could remove it later (I cant).

The end result is I will end my training membership with 20 unused sessions, $1,200 wasted. Even though I was told that the sessions will typically stay on the books up to 6 months after the membership ends This is not the information I got when I went in to cancel most recently, we shall see.

Slater D. is an excellent trainer and I would happily employ his services elsewhere.

Today, after rushing from work in Seattle, I arrived 10 minutes late to class. The instructor, who is also the operations manager, refused to let me join. I understand the importance of punctuality, but I’m a paying member not a student. I was willing to miss part of the class, but there was no flexibility. Previously, the class used to start at 7:00 p.m., which was much more convenient. Recently, they changed it to 6:30 p.m., and it’s simply not possible for me to consistently make it on time from Seattle. I would completely understand if the class was full, but half of the reformers were empty — the class wasn’t even that full. This is also the first time I’ve ever seen them actually lock the doors and refuse entry, which felt extreme and unnecessary.

I truly hope management will revisit this rigid policy or find a reasonable solution for members who consistently make the effort to attend despite busy schedules. For now, I’ve decided to freeze my Pilates membership until a solution is found. I can’t keep driving from Seattle to Kirkland only to be turned away at the door for being a few minutes late.

When I started working out here 3 years ago my review was 5 stars. Since then they have lost stars each year. The employee and management turn over rate is insane, good luck recognizing the staff week to week or getting a machine that isn’t broken in same manner. Employees get zero training, members get zero respect from employees or management. Everyone is just there to make money no one cares about their members. The few employees I have made friends with have nothing good to say about their jobs. Super discouraging, whoever is the owner of this facility needs to get it together because it’s a dump.

WARNING , do not give them access to your bank or your credit card! It's been over three years and they have continually charged me after I have unsigned up multiple times. I get 2 to 4 phone calls every single morning from LA fitness and it's time for the CFPB to be involved. Try talking to a manager or being very proactive in anyway it will get you nowhere so whatever you do don't work out here. You'll thank me later. Today I'm making an official complaint with the Wa state Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau and the Kirkland chamber of commerce.

LA Fitness changed the Pilates class schedule without warning or thought of how it would impact their patrons. They shifted the class schedule by 30 minutes without offering an earlier alternative. Completely inconsiderate. Many of us who attend the 6am, can only do an early morning session due to work schedules, child care or both. To pay $100/month for a service and have to not be able to use it 5 out of 7 days a week is highly disappointed and unacceptable.

I recently joined LA Fitness with the intention of finally doing something for myself after having twins. I was excited to get back into shape — but unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling misled, pressured, and deeply disappointed.

When I scheduled my complimentary body composition reading (a benefit advertised to all new members), I had no idea it would turn into an aggressive sales pitch for personal training. During the appointment, I asked early on about pricing, as I didn’t want to waste anyone’s time. Instead of giving me a clear answer, Jesse, the personal training director, kept dodging the question and pushing through a script. I work in an industry that involves sales — I recognized the tactic — but I was courteous and sat through it. When the prices were finally revealed, I was shocked. I told him I wanted to speak with my husband before making a decision, but he continued pressuring me, saying I was getting a “one-time only” deal at $140/month.

Feeling uncomfortable and overwhelmed, I signed up — with the intention of canceling after I had a chance to talk with my husband. I called the front desk the very next morning. They told me they could cancel my upcoming training session, but that Jesse would need to cancel the actual contract. I waited around all day and even followed up several times. Jesse didn’t reach out until later that night — and told me I “no-showed” and wouldn’t be refunded. I explained that the front desk told me it had been canceled, and I never would have missed it otherwise. He offered me a make-up session, but I just wanted to cancel the entire thing.

Eventually, he agreed to cancel my contract, but then told me I needed to come in in person with my ID — despite already having all of my information. I couldn’t make it that Saturday due to my twins teething all night and needing rest before work, so I emailed in advance. When I came in a few days later, he was visibly annoyed and said sarcastically, “Remember how I told you to come in on Saturday?”

At that point, I reached out to corporate, hoping for professionalism and resolution. Instead, I was treated with the same level of disregard. I spoke to someone named CJ, who promised to call me at 1 PM with a resolution. When I hadn’t heard anything by 1:30, I called back and another rep told me he couldn’t reach CJ. I had clearly stated that I did not want to speak with Jesse again — and yet instead of a proper follow-up, they had Jesse call me again.

During this final call, Jesse offered me complimentary personal training sessions if I chose not to cancel — or, if I still canceled, said the two sessions I never attended would not be refunded. I told him I wanted to cancel. I also expressed my frustration that he had withheld the fact that I could’ve canceled the contract online from the beginning — which would’ve saved me days of stress and unnecessary back and forth. His response? More sarcasm: “I believe those signatures on the contract are yours, and it says right there that you can cancel online.” I told him that like most people, I didn’t read every single word of the fine print when the contract was rushed through with me.

It was clear to me by then that he had no genuine intention to help, nor any empathy for the people he works with. Jesse’s tone, demeanor, and approach have been by far the most unprofessional I’ve experienced in any customer-facing role. It’s upsetting that someone like this is in a leadership position at LA Fitness.

This entire experience has been incredibly disheartening — especially as a new mom simply trying to take care of her health. I’m sharing this in hopes that corporate leadership sees it and reconsiders how they allow their staff to treat members. No one should be manipulated or guilted into financial commitments they can’t afford, especially not in an environment that’s supposed to support your health and well-being.

I left my $40 limited edition water bottle here, called less than an hour later and had an employee secure it and put a sticky note with my name on it. I ended up getting sick and came back for it 8 days later and the manager Ani had thrown it away. When I asked for a free month to compensate me for the irreplaceable water bottle that she threw away she refused claiming the gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items. However it was not “lost” it was claimed and in a known location. The manager refused to accept any accountability and lied and said that there was no label on it.

I waited to write this review until I spoke with the manager to give her the chance to repair the situation but she refused.

Update:

Ani called me back and said she discussed with corporate to see what her options were to remedy the situation and that she didn’t have the ability to offer me a free month but wanted to see if there’s anything that could remedy the situation because they’d like to retain my business.

As a result I’ve updated this review from a 1 star to a 3 star because it seems it’s not entirely the managers fault that they don’t have the ability to offer a member a free month. However it seems to me that this is a basic managerial authority that General Managers absolutely should have. My position now is that LA Fitness corporate seems unwilling to give their managers any real authority to remedy such situations which sounds to me like corporate greed and a lack of empathy.

But at least it’s not all Anis fault.

Clear Guide to Cancel LA Fitness Personal Training – Read Before You Sign!

I want to share a step-by-step guide based on my own experience canceling a personal training agreement at LA Fitness (Kirkland, WA). I hope this saves others from confusion and unexpected charges.

💡 How to cancel LA Fitness personal training:
1. Check your contract
You usually receive it by email when you first sign. Look for your Agreement Number or Barcode Number.

2. Write a physical cancellation letter.
LA Fitness requires written notice by mail. (See my template below.)

3. Send it via Certified Mail with Return Receipt to:

LA Fitness
ATTN: 3-Day Desk
P.O. Box 55088
Irvine, CA 92619

4. Wait… but don’t expect a reply.
In my case, I never received a cancellation confirmation, even after 2 months.
I only got a response when I disputed the charge through my credit card, and LA Fitness then responded to the bank by attaching my cancellation confirmation.

📝 Template you can use:

Dear LA Fitness,

I am writing to formally request the cancellation of my personal training agreement with LA Fitness. My agreement number is -Your Agreement Number on contract-, and my barcode is -Your Barcode on contract-.

My initial 6-month term has ended, and the agreement is now on a month-to-month basis. As such, I would like to cancel the agreement effective immediately and request that no further charges be applied to my account.

Please consider this letter as my written notice of cancellation. Kindly confirm the termination of my agreement and send me a confirmation of the cancellation at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,
-Your Name and Contact Info-

I hope this helps others avoid what I went through. If this was helpful, please give this a thumbs up so more people can see it!

**Be Cautious Before Signing Up (for Those Who Don’t Fully Understand the Agreement)**

Before you enthusiastically commit to a gym membership, make sure you know what to expect. Here are a few points to consider:

1. **Training Sessions**: During a 30-minute training session, you may only get about 15 minutes of actual machine or equipment use, in addition to a daily workout plan. The initial session often consists of discussion rather than active training.

2. **Monthly Programs**: If you sign up for a monthly plan, be aware that you're effectively committing to a 12-month contract. It’s not truly month-to-month. Depending on your personal trainer, you may only get 15 to 20 minutes of training multiplied by a total of 12 sessions.

3. **Cancellation Policy**: Be cautious with the cancellation terms. Once committed, you may find it nearly impossible to cancel without incurring penalties. You could end up paying half of the remaining balance on your contract, regardless of what you’ve already paid. Additionally, if you signed up for multiple sessions per week, you can't reduce that to just one session.

4. **Communication Issues**: Be mindful that they may contact you from unknown numbers and won’t provide clear information. They often avoid transparency about their system.

5. **Request Process**: If you have any requests, you must visit the gym in person and make an appointment, which is dependent on their availability.

6. **Department Communication**: Each department has its own manager, and they do not coordinate with one another. If you seek assistance, you may find it challenging to get answers. The real issue lies with the owners of the gym location, whose information is typically not disclosed.

7. **Email Documentation**: I asked the training manager if they could send me information via email, but they declined, implying that they are aware of potential legal issues related to their operations.

8. **Evaluate the Gym**: Before committing financially, take the time to inspect the equipment and training areas. Observe how trainers interact with clients and assess the gym's overall condition.

9. **Do Your Research**: Think carefully before signing anything. Explore other options and inquire about the experience and qualifications of the instructors. You are paying for their expertise, so ensure you receive clear answers supported by documentation.

I’ve had such a great experience with Carlos at the front desk! Every time I walk in, they greet me with a warm smile and positive energy, which immediately makes the gym feel welcoming. They’re always helpful with checking me in quickly, answering any questions I have. It’s clear they genuinely care about the members and take pride in creating a friendly, organized environment.

Highly recommend this location thanks to people like Carlos at the front!

I really want to like this gym but it's difficult to get a good workout in.

-The most insanely crowded gym I've ever been to in my life. Even the overflow parking full after work times, sometimes circle several times and just give up. Just three squat racks so so inadequate. people get aggressive trying to claim them and the smith machines.

-lack of care put into the property. Nearly every machine is old, in cosmetic or functional disrepair. Bathrooms stinky and dirty. Lockers dusty and not clean. Hot tub grimy and stained. Sauna often broken. Even the towels are stained sometimes 😂

-poor management decisions. Given the above two points, the fact that they put money into converting the stretching room into a paid pilates studio. Greedy decision. Now there's nowhere to stretch, it's so dangerously overcrowded on the turf.

However the only thing I will say in their favor is they have a couple of really sweet young people who care about their job at the front desk. Rosella is the most fun dance teacher I've ever had in my life-i literally only come for her at this point. Some of the other group fitness instructors are also pretty good

Still get a decent workout, but at times this feels like a forgotten place. Once or twice a week there’ll be no hand towels in the bathroom, clogged or filthy sinks; machines broken or missing screws; storage cabinets mostly broken…and the list goes on. But they have plenty of people on the phone selling memberships.

Sign up for personal trainings only you want it for 12 month in a row. Because there is no short term option (which was not explained to me during signing up) there is no chance to cancel the contract with no fee (50% of the remaining 11 months).
I wanted a personal trainer for a month because I was first time at the gym, and Jessie the main manager assured me I can cancel it. Well he didn’t mention that personal training contract is only can be signed for 12 months( even though he knew I wanted and asked for 1 month !) and I would have to pay one time cancelation fee of the rest months. Can’t believe I was treated this way, manager knew I needed it for 1 month and didn’t explained that there is no such option.. now I have to pay for nothing.
Yes I know very stupid , but I didn’t expect the catch somehow , when I was signing up it looked so simple “- can I cancel this contract whenever I want like after 1st month? -Sure you can.”🤷‍♀️ I asked several times lol , he could mention that I have to pay for the rest 11 months )))
Also he told me that I need to cancel 30 days prior and I asked to cancel it right away on the same day , and he said no no no you need to try first , just go to the register and schedule with me a meeting in couple of days. I did , And there were no openings in his schedule within a week or few, what a trick..
Then later I could catch him in few weeks at his desk. I told I want to cancel personal training contract. I was asked to bring my ID and pay for the next month (30 days) to cancel PTs, I did. I don’t know what he had cancelled but I am still paying full price for the trainings I can’t not attend. So what exactly I was canceling at that meeting ?!

And the attitude of the manager that it’s my fault and my misunderstanding of the contract - this is so disgusting though he knew I needed just one month of help with the equipment, I had several meetings with him. He advised me to find a lawyer - what a great advice for a person who just wanted to get in a good fit after pregnancy, that’s just what I need on top of everything, thanks!
I am a single mom and can not go anytime I want because I either work or with a small child.

So don’t expect someone will be explaining those tricky terms to you if it’s your first time or you have not perfect English language skills. Don’t make my mistakes ))

Deeply disappointed that some managers will do everything to sell contracts no matter what to make their sales plans.

And also not answering the calls or not at the desk - typical thing, you will have to do a hard job to catch that same manager again. Ridiculous..

And calling to membership services will not help if you are not 100% disabled or moving 25 miles away from any LA gym. Don’t expect “client is always right” attitude.
A perfect sales model , well done.

Had an awesome experience at LA Fitness Kirkland thanks to Michael! He really took the time to listen and break down my goals in a way that actually made sense. It felt like he was explaining it like a science — super clear and easy to follow.

He did a movement screen that showed where I had some imbalances, and then explained how Pilates could help fix them and improve my overall movement. I’ve never had anyone walk me through things like that before.

If you’re serious about getting results and want someone who actually cares, go talk to Michael. He knows his stuff and makes it easy to stay motivated.

Don't fall for their free guest pass. Brought someone with me to try the gym out with a free pass. First thing they did was aksed if they want to sign up for a membership without even trying anything. Sales rep's confidence blows my mind. Obviously, they said no, then the sales rep told them that they needed to pay to get in since they're not eligible for a pass. Like they needed to get a membership to be eligible for a pass? Doesn't make sense, sounds like sleazy sales talk. Rep said its a company policy. To me, it sounds like a false advertisement if this was really their policy since their website says otherwise, or a time-share level of sales push

Just received an AWFUL customer service at the front desk. I’m on the 3 day free trial, my partner set it up for me and I used it yesterday for the first time for a Pilates class. Today I walked in, hoping to try out the weights area, and the workers at the front desk were so rude that I walked out the door right away. I told them the trial pass was set up by my partner, showed them my Pilates QR code that I used yesterday, and then one of the workers said to me “are you sure you came yesterday? I was here all day.” So they were suspicious of me cheating the 3 day trial pass, I guess? They didn’t even check anything in their system on their computer. Not the way I was hoping to start this morning. I’d rate 0/5 here, if it was possible.

Update: This specific establishment has gotten worse. It's readily apparent that they don't give it as much attention as they used to.

- Equipment is dirty
- Very few sanitation stands were being used, despite multiple workers there and at a non-busy hour.
- Restroom was filthy and most of the soap dispensers were empty.
- Their partner Oak Harbor Freight Lines blocked several people in the parking lot making the already terrible parking worse

It's a pretty nice gym compared to the nearby LA Fitness centers. It is always crowded, be prepared for that!

There is a good amount of members who must not wear deodorant. I'll leave it at that to not offend people.

Other than that!! It's your typical LA Fit. Gets the job done and the staff has always been friendly.

I would give 0 star if I could! Why would I give them any credit while no work/service was being done?! I had to call multiple times to check in on the status of my refund, each time I got a different answer. Today when I called, I got to the front desk, verified my account information, and was completely ignored for the next 5 minutes without any notices! I was on the phone, trying to let them know that I am still there and still waiting for the next step. I could hear them talking to other guests at the club while completely ignoring me? WTH? What kind of services is this? I need to hang up, called again to be put on hold then the rep named SEAN even told me rudely that he had asked me to wait on hold the first time around! HE DID NOT! The fact that I had to awkwardly waited, call back and be told such thing is totally UNPROFROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! I was told last week that the refund was already in the process, this week, I needed to call back again just to hear that the operations manager is not there yet to process the refund request and I need to call back again in an hour... THIS IS SUCH AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE! TOTALLY BAD MANAGEMENT AND UNPROFRESIONAL STAFFING!

This LA Fitness is overcrowded, and the parking is a nightmare. Members often circle for 15-20+ minutes, wait on the side street, or are forced to park at a dicey Motel 6, which also fills up from members.

Despite this, management keeps selling memberships. To make matters worse, this location charges a premium compared to other locations, yet the gym is standard with no additional equipment. Save yourself the frustration and recommend going elsewhere.

Be cautious with the deceiving personal training package. The manager, Jessie (the salesperson), has very misleading about the contracts, especially concerning cancellation options. I am very upset with Jessie and the entire personal training package; it feels very dishonest.

I have been in various LA Fitness and this is supposedly a Signature Club ( I would call it a Signature dump Club ).
Why would I make this statement.
Washroom facilities are dirty!
Paper towel dispensers or Hygiene napkin dispensers are empty ( when I asked if they could refill them it took over an hour )
Some equipment is out of order for the longest time.
There is dust, water or energy spill’s throughout the gym and no staff wipes it down. Dumbbells are not organized and all over the gym. Have to look for matching ones.
Front desk staff seems nice but don’t really care, when you asked them, it is like” Not my Job description”
There are other LA Fitness who are much better than this dump.

Dear Manager/Owner,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some concerns regarding my recent experience at your gym, which I believe could be addressed to improve the overall customer experience.

I came in with my wife, using a 3-day trial pass I obtained from your website, with the intention of trying out the gym and potentially converting to a membership. Unfortunately, I encountered issues with the process when I interacted with Josh Julca. He initially refused to honor the trial pass unless I provided a positive review on google. His reasoning was that I was already "in the system blah blah blah," which I found unprofessional and frustrating. After some back and forth, I reluctantly agreed to give a 4-star review and received my 3-day pass.

While I understand that Josh is still young and may have room to learn, I was particularly displeased with his line of questioning when he asked, “How would you rate your wife?” after I rated his gym tour as a 9/10. I explained that nothing is ever perfect, but he persisted in an inappropriate manner. Additionally, he asked personal questions, including where I’m from, whether I learned English after arriving in the U.S., and even suggested changing my sleep schedule. These comments made me uncomfortable and detracted from the professionalism I expect in a business setting.

I genuinely believe Josh could benefit from additional training on customer interaction and boundaries. While I understand that he is young and still learning, the way he approached the situation could have a negative impact on your brand, particularly if customers feel pressured into providing reviews in exchange for services. I would encourage you to address this matter, as I believe it could prevent future issues with potential members.

Despite this experience, I wish you the best of luck with your business and hope that this feedback will be taken constructively.

Been going here for roughly 9 months now, I primarily chose this gym since it is very close to where I live.

In general this gym is FINE, not great, not terrible, some pros and cons:

Pro:
- Staff is generally nice and helpful
- Pool
- Lots of different machines
- Personal trainers are competent

Cons:
- Hygene is.. questionable at times, they also do not try to enforce good gym hygene etiquette (not even posters).
- Machine maintenance is lacking & slow, some machines have been damaged or broken for weeks at a time, some machines are missing handles that could easily replaced in a day for MONTHS.
- Pool is generally kept too warm

Edit:

Machines are consistently broken and repairs are really rare, I've reached out to management but they seem un-interested or unable to fix these issues.

Michael provided me the best customer service and accommodated to all of my needs. Highly recommend asking for him for any membership services. The gym was clean and had a lot of equipment other places didn’t. Recommend coming here!
