I love Maximus Gym! They have a very good selection of equipment, and I like the separate studio fitness room you can use when classes aren't in session. I have made strength gains here that I feel proud of! People are friendly at Maximus while also being there to 'get it done.' Good gym etiquette atmosphere and the staff knows members by name. It's just a good vibe there with people who want to work on their fitness, and that vibe is contagious.

Came in for a day pass on a road trip. Grace at the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly and made the check-in process seamless. This gym had everything I needed and wasn’t too crowded.

It’s got everything you need to stay/get fit. A bit expensive but it is s small community gym and you can walk/bike/bus from anywhere near downtown. Parking can be a challenge sometimes but is possible. The vibe in this gym feels different than in the past. Some people treat this place well & are really friendly/encouraging to work out alongside. The front desk staff have also been nothing but lovely. Some other gymgoers seem to treat this place like it’s their living room and do stuff like use the cardio machines in socks or don’t wipe down equipment for the next person. We all pay to belong to this gym community and we all gotta take care of this space if we want it & the community to survive.

While visiting E-burg I needed a gym where I could drop in and expend my traveler's aggression. The Gym is a godsend!
I tried some others, but their staffing hours are beyond ridiculous (Anytime, you know who you are😒) and unless you're a librarian, you're never gonna get ahold of anyone to help facilitate a day pass.
The Gym's representative, Mike, was right there, getting me checked in and on my way to crushing those body parts that required attention after traveling for two days.
No one mills about on equipment wasting your time as they snap an inordinate amount of selfies (minus that one guy in the photos, but I didn't run into him), and it's not an exercising "pickup joint"; people here are here to get fit!
God bless this gym and may I say that I personally wish more gyms were like this one.
Interesting aesthetic note: it holds remnants of Schwarzenegger's training facility in that golden classic, Pumping Iron (1977).

The guys at the desk are super friendly. Very cheap day passes. Wide range of machine equipment. There is one deadlift platform and a couple squat racks. Decent little gym 👍🏼

Good local gym! I appreciate the 24/7 access for members. There's a few pieces of equipment I wish they had, and some more and/or updated versions of certain things. Apart from that, no complaints. Going there over the last couple years has improved my fitness dramatically!

Great place to workout, with a friend or alone. Enough equipment to accomplish whatever you need to. Open 24/7 so really fits my schedule. Staff are great people friendly but not overly friendly like ive experianced at some commercial gyms. The paid in full membership really great for if you wanna just pay for your 3 months in advance and not have to worry about it anymore. Overall solid gym, nuff said.

Great place to work out but zero flexibility when it comes to canceling your membership. I recently moved away and don't require their services anymore. It seems reasonable that a phone call could communicate that you no longer wish to pay for this service. Instead you'll need to express this request in person.

I get that you are trying to run a business and make a living. There shouldn't be inconvenient barriers placed on your customers to ensure that you can.

Can’t say enough great things about this gym. Bottom line is it’s well equipped and open 24/7. Who doesn’t like that?

Where this gym exceeds is the community. Everyone is supportive while still pushing you to be your best. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and the place just has that great classic gym feel. Loved working out here and I will miss it.

Great gym in Ellensburg. Has all the essentials and Life Fitness weight machines which are my personal preference. Can get busy at times but gym is well organized and uses space well. Overall great place to get a great workout.

I wanted to do a one week trial. Realized the hours wouldn’t work with my schedule so I had them refund the money. It took a month four phone calls and an employee hanging up on me before I was able to get my refund. Even after I finally got through to the boss he wasn’t apologetic and was still trying to sell me a membership.

To summarize the gym was overpriced, had old equipment, and the team had no customer service. I would definitely not recommend this gym.

Too much good stuff to say! Love our gym. Good equipment, a variety of "extras", music at a good volume. Water bottle filler. Great bathrooms with showers, a scale and shampoo, etc in case you forget yours.

Got the year membership no big deal actually nice facility. But quit going and thought once my year was over my membership was done apparently not I’ve been getting charged for a year I haven’t been going nor signed up for another year membership. So I called down there to cancel still not a big deal and the girl who answered the phone sounded like she was eating then when I asked if I could just cancel my membership so I’m not getting charged anymore and had a total attitude about it and was told I now have to come in to cancel in person and not over the phone total bs policy. All I wanted was to cancel and not be charged anymore.

This is one of the best gym here in Ellensburg. The staff is great and friendly. The equipment is good and they also keep adding new machines. The gym is open 24/7 with great staffed hours. I have been a member for over 3 years and I have never had a complain. Overall, the gym culture here at Maximus is one of the best I have experienced.

I love this place! They have tons of machines to workout on, great weights, & very nice treadmills to run on... I would recommend this gym over the chain gyms any day! They have everything that you need in one convenient location with excellent hours. Perfect for students & busy people on the go. Parking isn’t the best but not an issue if you’re going to a gym. 😂

Best gym out there, old school style and 24 hours. I go to Cwu and the gym is ridiculously crowded, this is a great alternative and also only a 1 mile run from my house. Makes for a good warmup!
