I’ve been bringing my 7 year old granddaughter here for over a year. She absolutely loves it. She has participated in bronze, silver, and gold gymnastics, summer camps and tumbling. When I mentioned it to a P.E teacher I know he commented that gymnastics was excellent for young kids. Besides building confidence it helps develop mind/body coordination that will help them in activities the choose to be involved in the hen they get older.

She has worked with many different coaches and they’ve all been great. You can tell they enjoy what they’re doing and they share that with the kids. They have abundant patience and provide lots of support and encouragement. A few weeks ago we had her 6 year old autistic brother join her for tumbling. It has been wonderful for him and again the coaches are amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough.

As a husband of two amazing daughters who have grown up and matured through the programs at this Academy, as well as husband to an out of this world wife who also went through 13 years at this gym before going on to receive a D1 gymnastics scholarship before coming back to Wa and now coaching at this gym; Mid-Columbia Gymnastics Academy has been a life changer for good in all our lives. My daughters have learned to persevere and grow well past what they ever thought they were capable of achieving. They’ve learned discipline and how to push through in order to achieve their goals. I’ve been to every β€œhome meet” every session, every state championship and regional competition during 13 years of watching my girls climb the ranks and it’s because of the hard working coaches, experienced owners and countless parents/volunteers and booster club parents who have made it an extended family. I’ve watched other gyms coaches and teams behaviors at meets. I’ve seen this gym’s athletes and coaches represent the greatest qualities and values you’d want your child to learn in their journey. It’s nice to watch young children being taught the steps to setting and achieving goals through hard work and determination. I’m excited to see all the growth here, which has led to a brand new gym being built in Pasco. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for this true gem in Eastern Wa. Thank you to the owners, employees, coaches and athletes for making this a truly life changing experience for my kiddos. β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ’ͺ

Don't recommend. Had 2 birthday parties here as well as attended classes for 3 yrs. Not only did my daughter contract a skin infection there but is entirely not worth the money they raise it constantly.

They have many good instructors who give good feedback to students. They are flexible when life happens and things come up. We are, so far, very happy with this gymnastics facility (we've been the almost 2 years). I would recommend them. I am looking forward to seeing what they do with their coming second location. I love seeing a local business thrive and succeed into needing to expand.

My girls love Mid Columbia. I started both of my girls about 6 months ago and we are seeing huge improvements just attending once a week. Both girls have moved up from their starter class and they are begging for more days. Staff are super friendly and fantastic with the kids.

Had my sons second birthday here. It was perfect. All the kids, of ages from infant to 15, ran around and had a great time on all the equipment. The lady who was working was very nice and helpful. We had such a good experience. May have another future bday here. We also come to open gym sometimes. My son always has a blast. It is pretty busy, but so much space for kids to run around and play.

My daughter has been attending MCGA since she was 18 months old. We've done the open gyms, mommy and me classes , recreational classes, summer camp days and all the events they hold. We absolutely love MCGA and have had some great coaches! Davina, Mac and Travis will always hold special places in our hearts. My daughter loves her gymnastics community and how fun and supportive everyone there is.

Open gym hours offer large open space for littles to run around & exhaust themselves in all weather. So many toys! Clean, well managed, and fun for kids under 6. I wish there were more Open Gym times, and that the price hadn't increased to $10. But businesses have to watch the bottom line, and the 90 minutes of fun for the kids is still worth it

I appreciate how helpful the office staff are. They never make me feel like a burden when I need help with something. The coaches are fun yet professional. My daughter attended a year, and now I have two daughters attending. They look forward to coming each week. The non-team classes are a good balance of strength, skills, but also fun.

Class sizes are packed and the younger kids wait in line the majority of class time to have a turn for 30 seconds. As a parent I dont want to pay for gymnastics lessons for them to just wait in line the whole time. It seems way to busy. It's very chaotic!

We come here a couple of times a week during the kids play times. It's a ton of fun, and enjoyable even for my son who is just over 1yr. There are plenty of toys and obstacles for him to climb on. I wish I had known about it sooner!

My son started taking recreational gymnastics and tumbling classes in August of 2012. This place was a miracle for him! The instructors help build his confidence and athletic abilities. He soon went through the ranks and started competitive gymnastics on the boys level 4 team in a year. He is now a level 5 gymnast. Our experience with all of the Coaches and staff have been positive. I can't imagine a better sport for kids than gymnastics! There are so many classes and options available for your child here, whether you want recreational or competitive. This gym will take you where you want to go!

After recently relocating to the tri cities, my wife and I enrolled our daughter in Mid-Columbia Gymnastics Academy with the hope that it would be as challenging as her previous gymnastics facility. As time has gone by, we have come to realize that this was a huge mistake. The people are nice and the facility is great, but the program is about as challenging as an unlicensed in-home daycare center. Our daughter, who began with MCGA being able to do perfect splits and a 2 minute handstand has regressed beyond comprehension. If you are looking for a place to take your kid so they have fun and stay out of your hair while you Facebook, then this is the place for you. If your child is passionate about gymnastics and you care about their accomplishments, avoid this place at all costs.

I believe that every person on staff at MCGA has the goal of making children happy. No matter what department you are bringing your kids too- recreational or competitive, cheer or gymnastics. The teachers want to educate their classes on being fun and exciting but safety is just as important. The teachers and coaches keep the communication between the parents alive with feedback and updates about the growth and progress of their children. Every child who walks through the door leaves learning something new with a smile on their face!

My daughter has been at MCGA for 3 1/2 years now. She started in the recreational classes where she had a blast learning the basics in a caring, fun-filled environment.
About a year ago she moved on to the TOPS program where the coaches did a great job assessing the kids individually and about 6mo ago she was moved up to join the competitive team Level 4 . She is super excited to be competing for the first time this season!
Throughout every phase of her gymnastics training I have felt well informed and supported by the staff. My daughter has had several different teachers and has not always mixed with them on a personal level but each and every teacher has contributed something valuable to her training. I feel that the structure and discipline level has always been appropriate.
I appreciate the learning atmosphere so much that I now work there, and it gives me great joy to see so many families with sibling after sibling moving through the program!

My daughter has been a part of Mid Columbia Gymnastics for 7 years. She started out on the pee wee cheer team, and is now a member of the senior level 4 team that won the International Championship at Disneyworld in March.

She has gone from a shy, quiet girl to a strong, confident athlete. Her years at Mid Columbia Gymnastics and Elite Force Cheer have been wonderful.

The coaching staff is kind and compassionate. Children are taught the skills in progressions. One skill leads to another, leads to another. It has been amazing to watch how my child has gone from having no knowledge of cheer or tumbling to being so aware of her body and positions that she is now working on her full!

There is a poster at Elite Force Cheer that states "Character Matters" My child is learning more than cheer and tumbling. She is becoming a better person because the coaching staff is teaching them that it is important to be a good person. Although they would love everyone to win a national title, at the end of the day, they really care about the character of the program and children in it.

My son is taking gymnastics classes and loves it. Although he is not at the same level as my daughter, he is learning skills and having so much fun doing it! He looks forward to his weekly class and just recently asked if he could go more than one day a week. The recreational gymnastics coaches make learning fun! There is nothing sweeter than seeing a smile on your child's face when they are doing something they love!

Awful place for young children. The coaches are unprofessional, rude, and impatient with the little ones. No positive or encouraging words, always negative and cold. 0 communication with the parent. And this was a recreational class for 3 year olds! Would hate to see how they treat the older children who are there to compete.
