While on a trip from out of town, I took four classes in three days from three different instructors. Stacey infused her classes with her warm/welcoming aura and a deep knowledge of yogic philosophy. Jay integrated little micoradjustments and artfully used cues that made even the most simple poses feel brand new. His calming demeanor put everyone in the class immediately at ease. Bree's integration of acumen about anatomy into her class and theme of surrendering to each pose made her class both physically and mentally challenging.
The space itself is clearly a place where a diverse community gathers. The studio was gorgeous and all of the instructors were incredibly gracious.

As a physical therapist and 40 year devotee of yoga, I was very impressed with this studio when I visited the Methow Valley recently. The instructor, Bree Dillon, and other students greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. She had a way of introducing and progressing movements and poses that created opportunities for beginners as well as more experienced practitioners to relax and move with more ease and awareness. By the end of class my mind was quieter and more focused. I felt rejuvenated. I'll definitely be back! - Steve T

If you are looking at this review chances are you want to go to a yoga class. Motive will more than fulfill this yoga desire. The studio is a clean, well lit and welcoming environment with mats, blankets, blocks etc that offers great assortments of yoga in the Methow Valley. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
