Visited from out of town and the entire team was incredibly welcoming. My partner and I were fortunate enough to work and spar with their fight team who were very skilled and controlled. Big thanks to Tony for his generosity and knowledge, will definitely visit again next time I'm back in Seattle.

Very welcoming team and good skill of Muay Thai. Tony and Nico taught tiring but rewarding classes. Sparring is controlled and fun. Could use more mat space.

I'm sure this can be a good gym for many people, but in my experience it left a lot to be desired. I didn't feel necessary feel unwelcomed, plenty of folks I struck up a conversation with were nice enough. But I didn't feel particularly welcomed either. I arrived fifteen minutes early as required, signed the waiver. I explained how I have psorasis on my feet, was assured that wasnt a problem and to go sit in a corner and a instructor will grab you for a the free trial and you'll do some work on the bags, okay great. Well 5 or so minutes after the trial was supposed to start the regular class started and I was left sitting there, unsure of what to do, so I just left. It was just poor customer service for a potential customer they could have had, dissapointing.

My son has learned a lot from the kids Muay Thai class. Tony and the other teachers work really well with the kids, pushing them just enough to stretch their limits, while encouraging them all the way. The kids themselves are also very welcoming and encouraging, for both boys and girls. Is a great little community.

I've been training at this gym for 9+ months now, starting with no experience. Tony and the team care deeply for their students and community! The classes are well paced and there are enough options to work with my busy schedule. I can't recommend Muaythai Iyarin enough. Grateful to have joined and am excited to continue. 10/10!

As a dancer, I was looking for a way to find a great cardio workout that challenges me mentally and physically and found it at Muaythai Iyarin. I’m always pushed to grow and get respectful instruction directly from Tony that helps me hone my skills. I find the environment welcoming and my partners are always willing to guide me and keep me safe. Katherine is a great gym manager, always saying hello to everyone and acts professionally. Even though I never thought I would engage in a fighting sport, Muaythai Iyarin changed my mind.

Muay thai iyarin was my home in Seattle when I was there. Really good memories and great community.
The coaches are awesome too. Coach Tony is super helpful and technical. Coach Nico is also encouraging during fight conditioning.
Hope to train with them again if ever I'm back in the area. Wishing the gym a nice future!

Best Muay Thai in the area. Tony, his family, and the other instructors create an inclusive and fun learning environment. I was only able to attend a few classes, but each class was a perfect balance of conditioning, pad work, combinations and personal feedback on form. Classes were beginner friendly and a great work out! I look forward to coming back soon! 🥊

I cannot recommend Muaythai Iyarin enough. Between the quality of the instruction, the experience of the coaches, and the authenticity and warmth of the community, you simply can't go wrong here.
The facility is clean and spacious, and hosts both the Muay Thai and BJJ classes in the evenings, creating an active and energizing atmosphere. Tony, Iyarin, Katherine, and the handful of coaches that support the classes go above and beyond to turn this martial arts program into familial, close-knit community, often hosting social events, smokers, seminars, and other activities to foster camaraderie on and off the mat.
Tony and Iyarin bring in authentic Muay Thai from Thailand and offer their know-how direct and unfiltered to their students; what you put in, you get out. Going to classes often, asking questions, and being curious will only enrich your experience here. I found the class structure and drills to be both challenging and enjoyable, offering a level of engagement that typical gym workouts fail to match. This gym is also low-ego. Members are welcoming and courteous, and sparring is meant to be constructive and light– no macho/overly-aggressive behavior here.
Pop in for a class and allow yourself to become immersed in the joy, play, connection, and challenge of Muay Thai.

I trained at Muay Thai Iyarin for 2 years while living in Seattle and I can confidently recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for authentic Muay Thai training.
Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned fighter, this gym provides a fun yet challenging training program that will definitely help you develop your skills and become a more competent and well-rounded fighter. Also, they invite top fighters to host amazing seminars and they collaborate with other gyms in the area. Additionally, they have a lovely community and I have made some lifelong friends at the gym.
Overall, for anyone looking for authentic Thai style Muay Thai in the area, with a wonderful community and respectful people to train with, this is the place to be!

Muaythai Iyarin is an amazing gym.
When I first moved to Seattle, I wanted to get into the sport. I was in my mid thirties, overweight, and I had never done any sort of martial arts before.
I was scared. Scared I couldn't do it. Scared I'd be laughed at. Scared I would embarrass myself.
What actually happened was that I had an amazing time. I've learned so much, I made great friends, I found a sport I really enjoy, and I was excited to see my progress over the past year.
The coaches here are excellent. They provide a good balance of warmup, instruction, and practice. They are patient and instruct you on how to do it right.
If you are looking for a fun way to exercise or if you want to learn to fight and fight well, Muaythai Iyarin is the place to do it.
I have since moved away from Seattle, but I've been back in town this week and stopped by. It is still as every bit as amazing as I remember.
I cant not reccomend this place enough. You won't regret it!

My son trained at 2 gyms prior to finding Muaythai Iyarin, and after training there, he NEVER considered training anywhere else. Muay Thai Iyarin holds true to authentic Muay Thai, teaching basic fundamentals all the way up to fight level. Kru Tony is serious, while also incorporating "play", and his commitment to students is so apparent and authentic. He expects respect- and also creates a space that holds a family feel. My son has improved exponentially in his almost 2 years at Muaythai Iyarin, and has even competed in Thailand. This gym KNOWS and trains authentic Muay Thai. From beginner (and kids classes!) to competition level fighting. Just join!

Absolutely amazing experience with the kids Muay Thai classes here! I highly, highly recommend this Seattle spot for any parents who are thinking of signing up their kids for martial arts. My 10yr old son has improved his determination, focus, strength, goal setting and has progressed quickly in his training, throwing down some serious Muay Thai combos, padwork and bag work only 3 months in. Huge credit goes to Coach Tony and his team of coaches who continually impress me with their ability to teach kids, encourage, set boundaries, get results and push their limits just the right amount. The gym is huge, decked out & brand new, parking is free & plentiful, and the small kid class size allows for personalized attention from the coaches and good bonding between the kids. We did free classes at a handful of other kids martial arts school in the area to make the most informed decision and Muaythai Iyarin was hands down the clear winner! We are 100% satisfied with our choice coming here and the passion my son has developed for his Muay Thai training is priceless. This is a special place, truly an incredible find. Thank you so much, Muaythai Iyarin for your kid Muay Thai classes and the community we've become a part of!

Incredible method for fat loss. Works your entire body and muscle groups that you typically don’t work in western exercise/sports.
If you diet right you will lose 2 - 3lbs of fat a week easy.
You can’t beat the gains you receive from martial arts in general. Overall a very efficient mind, body, and spirit practice to take on!

When I started training at MuayThai Iyarin, I was looking for a program that could help me get fit and also give me self defense skills.
What I found here was so much more...
MuayThai Iyarin is not only a gym, but a community.
As a small Asian American woman, one of the most important things I looked for in a gym was attitude and atmosphere. Training here is like being welcomed into a big family. I feel like my size and athleticism is always respected and the skills I've gained give me so much confidence as a woman who travels solo.
My work takes me all over, but there is nothing quite like the feeling of coming home to the gym and seeing the familiar faces that make this place so special. I always look forward to my next workout with Muay Thai Iyarin and excited to grow with my fellow students as we discover the beauty of this martial art together.

I couldn't recommend this place enough to anyone new or advanced fighters in Muay Thai. There are good gyms in Seattle, but this one is the real deal. Coach Tony and Coach Num are the gangsters of Muay Thai. Not only are they good teachers, the community surrounding the gym helps people learn fast because of how fun everyone makes it. I had the privilege of training at Muaythai Iyarin for a few days while I was visiting Seattle. Tony is an incredible coach with a wealth of experience and technique. Despite a rib injury, I was still able to learn some great clinch technique that I’m excited to implement in my training. The gym members are all incredibly welcoming and are clearly looking to better themselves and their training partners. They also have so much fun at this gym — someone commented that I couldn’t stop smiling throughout the class, and it’s because their gym culture is so fun! Come here to train — you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in town. Thanks for having me, Muaythai Iyarin!

I am proud to call Muaythai Iyarin home. When I started at this gym I was newer to the sport and this was the perfect environment to develop. Tony is supportive and encouraging. He loves his family and loves to teach. The members are warm and welcoming. Tony is really helping to build a Muay Thai community in Seattle. There are also more developed fighters at this gym, so it is appropriate for all levels. Lastly he often gets world renowned fighters to come and teach seminars that are very reasonably priced.

During a work trip to Seattle, I made sure to spend some time at Muay Thai Iyarin. One of my teammates in Atlanta had been here and always spoke highly of this gym. I'm so glad I took his recommendation and checked this place out! I felt like a member of the team from my first day there, and can't believe this week went by so quickly. I'm super grateful for the chance to learn from Thai trainers, and wish I could train here all the time! Thank you to everyone who worked with me this week! Can't wait to see you all next time I'm in town 🙏

I do not recommend Muaythai Iyarin. I have taken four months to consider writing a review. I was a fighter, promoter and built all of the community women's events.
I tried to attend a show at Muaythai Iyarin last Saturday with my 13 year old daughter, who has grown up in our local Muay Thai community. Security was called over on us and we were told that the police would be called if we choose to stay.
I quietly left Muaythai Iyarin in June, because Tony demanded control over my social media accounts and tried to shut down my CNN interview on domestic violence. For all of the reasons,
In reality there were many more reasons I left.
Drinking is a big part of this gym. Parties took place where things I didn't like were happening. I have an image of a young man tied up with a belt around him and his pants around his ankles that was sent to me. This same young man had two accounts of a DUI on his record. I don't like this.
In the time I was associated with Muaythai Iyarin 12 people in total (4 coaches) my friends have left. I watched other students sneak away and train other places for fights afraid to take photos of where they were.
If I attended another promoter's show, Tony would ask me why I was there. I got all sorts of messages from Tony that I couldn't associate with different people. There was one photo of me hugging my past teammate that injured his arm in a fight. I was warned that I can't associate with him. These stories go on.
From the community aspect, I've always been interested in growing the community. I'm a long-time soccer coach and have ran teams for over 15 years. There was the smearing of other promoters and teams behind closed doors and the constant drinking at shows. At first, I believed some of what was said, but then realized the only common dominator was Muaythai Iyarin.
For me, this environment was not a healthy one, so I choose to leave. I've been in many gyms, coached by many different people, of many different types and I haven't ever had an experience like this one.
This wasn't a hasty decision.
I have known Tony since he gave a seminar my old gym in April 2014 under Tony Mahapiroon. He started doing seminars under credentials as a professional fighter.
A few years later, I started a few days a week I stated training with Tony in a small place in Lake City with three other fighters. Tony was sporadic at best. The week before two of my team mates fought, he didn't show up to the gym. After one of my teammates lost pretty badly, he left to another gym. Tony called and left messages of how bad of a person he was. We then moved to the Guardian's space and I started training more often at Muay Thai Iyarin but still maintaining training in other gyms. Tony had been having one of his younger male students teach and watch his children. After going to Thailand, this student came back and choose to leave.
While I was at Muaythai Iyain, I received many messages from past students that his credentials were not accurate. He said he was a professional Thai boxer at the age of 14, raised in his family's muay thai gym in Bangkok, Thailand. After several years of competitive fighting (25 wins-10 losses-1 draw) with the Thai National Muay Thai Fight Team as well as the Rangsit Fight Team, he followed his family tradition and became an instructor. It was stated that he taught countless fighters, was an instructor from the World Muay Thai Council (WMC) and a certified professional trainer from the Muay Thai Institute of Rangsit Thailand.
Any past students that questioned any sort of legitimacy were threatened. And once they questioned him, he used other people to turn them against them and isolate them from the community and calls anywhere they train. This is a prominent pattern that has been taking place over the last three years.
The Muay Thai community is a small one and I don't feel that drama helps any of us
