I've been at Northwest Athletics for almost 10 years and couldn't see myself going anywhere else. I love the close community and the class sizes make it feel like you get your own personal training from Aaron. He is super knowledgeable and I like that the workouts are already created for you and are challenging.

Northwest Athletics...I’ve been working out for decades, but love the coaching we get from Aaron and our peers. Having small groups to workout with, in a supportive environment makes working great. There is always someone there to push you to your best, and keep good form. Having a workout program to keep you balanced across all body parts makes our workouts efficient and productive. Love the community we have.

I have been off and on working out at Northwest Athletics Club for the last 5/6 years. I appreciate the knowledge that coach/owner Aaron has with lifting and helping members achieve their goals. I set PRs with his help that I couldn’t have done at other gyms. He focuses on all muscle groups in a way a lot of other CrossFit gyms don’t do. I had ACL replacement and had knee pain everyday for 6+ years thinking that was just going to be my life. Aaron showed me many additional exercises to do before and after workouts and I haven’t had knee pain since (3 more years later)! The members are all awesome and if you want to get strong/fit and have a good/safe time doing it - this is the place to go to!

I had always wanted to learn how to lift and Northwest Athletics has provided me with a comfortable and safe environment to do so. I appreciate that Aaron is diligent with form during each exercise, making the benefit high and the possibility for injury low. I feel encouraged to continue to grow in strength and endurance. Before coming to Northwest Athletics, I had always struggled with the gym and staying in shape. Aaron has tremendous knowledge when it comes to form and helping me reach my goals. Its comforting to know that not only am I reaching my physical goals, but I am doing it safely and not harming my body. The atmosphere at Northwest Athletics is what brings me back. It is a comforting, supporting atmosphere with absolutely no judgement. Everyone working out with you is not only trying to reach their own physical goals, but also trying to help you reach yours. I cannot say enough good things about Aaron and would highly recommend him to anyone that is wanting a personalized fitness program to reach their physical goals.

I started working out at this gym back in 2012 and can’t say enough good things about it !This is an awesome gym for everyone because it’s scaled for every level of fitness and the workouts are always challenging ! The trainer and owner Aaron is very knowledgeable and focuses on teaching the correct form when you first start and continues to help And teach you new things every time you’re there. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a change , you won’t be disappointed !

I have had the honor of training with Aaron for the last 10 years and lucky enough to call him family! I have been through two pregnancies at Northwest Athletics, he has helped me stay active and strong through both of them helped come back while recovering also! I appreciate the small class sizes and his attention to detail when guiding and training each individual to provide efficiency and safety. The programming is always changing to provide excitement and growth.
I have been to many gyms throughout my life and nothing has ever kept me coming back year after year except training with Aaron at Northwest Athletics. Thank you for the growth mentally and physically and providing a safe place to do so!

Aaron White (head trainer) has worked with my athletes for a number of years and is great at what he does. He trains my baseball players at Kentlake High School, where I head coach, and has run my select team's training as well. He's knowledgeable and good with the kids and is always learning in order to stay ahead of the curve.

CrossFit Basic is the first "CrossFit" gym I have attended. I started approximately a year and a half ago now and the more I do it the more I love it. Its become a disease, but in a great way. The facility is great with the new location and the equipment is fantastic, everything you need in a CrossFit gym. Aaron and the coaching staff is very knowledgeable and great to work with. Some of the greatest perks of CrossFit Basic is the scheduling and the membership rates. They have a more broad spectrum of class times compared to other boxes and I don't think you will find another gym with better rates for the product. I am overall very satisfied with CrossFit Basic and encourage everyone I meet to try it out.

Thanks to this gym and it's caring coaches, I have discovered that you are never too old to build strength and get fit. At first I found it scary, now I hate it when I have to miss a class. I love the facility, the coaching and the encouragement from fellow members. When you actually look forward to going to your work out, what more is there to say?

I started off with a Groupon and have grown to become a full time member. I really appreciate the style of coaching and the attention that Aaron and all the coaches have to fitness and strength. The dedication to a fully rounded program of Crossfit, conditioning, injury prevention and rehab is a great approach. The class sizes are reasonable and the atmosphere is very accepting. Contact Aaron and give it a try, I think that CrossFit Basic is an excellent choice for anyone looking to elevate their fitness or for an alternative to the treadmill and nautilus workouts.
