Local fitness facility in Buckley. Met personal trainer there who biked over footbridge from Enumclaw.

Whoever was working yesterday (5-5 at about 5-530pm) my mom just got a membership there and the girl working at the front desk couldn't even be bothered to show my mom where the locker room and some of the equipment was. I expect better from this place since it's locally owned and john has been wonderful everytime I've been in.hope your younger kids can get it together or your going to lose more members.

It gets old hoping they will clean the drains and floor and always being the one who does it excpet when they hired professional cleaner. I think they swipe a wet mop across it and call it clean, dragging the dirt and hair all over. Gross. Your welcome I cleaned the hair put and scrubbed part of the shower floor with hand soap and paper towels. Maybe the girls bathroom would have never had flooding issues if the employees cleaned correctly.

Love my gym! No BS gym where you can get a good workout in. No saunas or pool. They do have showers in the locker rooms. It's very large with a great variety of equipment and it is teasonably priced. A kids play area for an small fee.

It is a very nice gym. Well equipped. Very clean and organized.
Monte Ferrell 's review below is funny! If you look it up, 27 out of 29 reviews are 1 star... sad
By the way, any reviews over 4-1/2 years old won't reflect the new owners. Only 1 review ( 3 stars ) I saw reflected the new owners. Most of the current owner reviews I saw were 5 stars.

I was in today, 8/7/24, and saw them replacing water heaters. I asked which one leaked. They said all the tanks were good. They were being preemptive. That seems to be the way they do things.

Nice big 2 story building. Upstairs the majority of equipment, Bikes, machines, free weights, bathrooms and showers. Downstairs large rooms for stretching, yoga and where classes are held. Staff available from I believe 7am to 9pm and NWFZ is 24 hr with locking doors and you use a fob for entry so safety isn't a concern. I am a member and would recommend to anyone.

Best gym ever. There’s multiple floors and lots of different rooms and a ton of free weights and equipment in each room. You can adjust the lights if you’re there alone, which often the gym is empty. The equipment is good enough to get a good workout in. It’s also fun to go with people or alone. Overall just great vibes, good views with lots of windows, lots of space and a lot to choose from. This is my safe place. If you are stinky and weird then go to planet fitness or something bro stay outta nwfz thanks.

The gym has a good variety of equipment. Reasonable priced membership for 24/7 access with no contracts. Staff has been friendly and it was easy to sign up. Has your basic needs for any avid lifter. Definitely a lot of room for improvement though. The facility doesn’t seem very clean or organized. Weights are kind of just in random spots on the racks (dumbbells and plates). Dry wall holes in the deadlifting/squat area that have signs that say not to use the dry wall as chalk ???
They provide spray bottles and reusable micro fiber cloths to wipe down equipment which get dirty super fast. I get the environmentally friendly aspect, just seems like a breeding ground for germs especially in a gym. Equipment seems pretty old/worn out and just overall could use updating and a refresh. Overall not bad, but not amazing. This is also in comparison to other gyms in the area that are competitive in pricing with slightly more limited hours.

It used to be a really nice gym. But over time the equipment has been worn down. It's basically hit or miss if one of the machines work and the weights have the rubber falling off the sides. 2 of the olypticals are basically useless as they make this loud banging noise and the wheels don't move right. If your a bodybuilder I guess you won't have much of a problem but if you wanna do something else I can't recommend.

The facility is nice but the customer service has always been poor. I request financial records on my account several times a year and have never been able to successfully obtain this information without some kind of a headache. It has gotten so frustrating that I canceled my membership after years and years of being with them.

A fantastic gym. It's a gym. Not a meat market. If your there to hit on someone. Go elsewhere. If your there to train and train hard. This is the place to be. No foo foo's needed.

This entity should honor their contract to their members. Not charge the person for anything after membership had been cancelled.out. It took advantage of the member's credit card on file and went crazy happy charging on the persons credit card.even if the membership was cancelled a week or so ago.
Don't patronize this business ... They don't play fair.
Find another fitness center that contracts are not confusing so they could take advantage of you with their FINE PRINTS when you cancel your nembership😫

i was a member for a few months, and i am now going through a hard time and wanted to cancel. under my impression if i cancelled on a certain day i would be good and not get charged any more. i asked them straight up once i filled out the form if i wouldn't be charged anymore. well i still get charged a week later and it was misunderstanding. so i wanted to be fair and ask if i can get extension for about 2-3 weeks of membership since i paid for it but never went in because i thought it was cancelled, they said no and it was out of their hands. i paid $75 for no use of it. its a gym and don't understand why i couldn't when they see i didnt go in anymore.
the cancellation form says if i cancel AFTER the 10th of the month, i will be charged one final month, well i cancelled on the 10th. so in my eyes i shouldn't have been charged.
plus don't sign up in February, i had to pay an extra $50 for some yearly fee
this is all too confusing and i would have not even put this all here if they were straight up. i ask questions straight up to them because i have two kids and dont have time to read confusing contracts to begin with.

Take your money somewhere else. The equipment isn't that well maintained, you will likely deal with unexpected charges, and they will do literally zero to help you resolve problems. If you try cancelling your membership they require you to come in and fill out a form, or require you to fax it in just to process your cancellation. Anywhere else it's fairly straightforward to cancel over the phone, providing them with the correct information. You won't find that here though.

Avoid this gym at all costs.

a lot has changed since most of these reviews we're written. I recommend trying it out for yourself. all the equipment is fairly new, it's hardly crowded, all they ask is for first and last and you can cancel anytime.

Fitness Zone is BAD, Really BAD.
They boast NO CONTRACT but when you quit they charge an extra $100 fee!! I now know as they informed me that it is No Contract but they waived the normal $150 joining fee and only collected $50 at joining & that quitting in the first six months causes the $100 waived to be charged. WOW, that sounds like a bunch of BS. When I checked with the Better Business Bureau I was informed that EVERY gym is required by Washingto State Law to enter into and have EVERY member sign a CONTRACT so that consumers have full disclosure and understanding of membership details AND that Fitness Zone's tactics of advertising NO CONTRACT is definitely misleading. BUYER BEWARE of Fitness Zone :(

Truly the worst gym I have ever been a member of. It is patently untrue that this is a no contract gym. When you sign up you pay first and last month dues as well as a registration fee which varies month to month. Small, independently owned which will leave you wanting for corporate recourse. I would have reported to the bbb but they are not affiliated, which makes sense as this is not a better business when compared to any other business I have ever seen. They have fine print upon fine print and the staff members are incredibly rude and dismissive. When I posted a truthful and truthfully bad review on their facebook they deleted it. That is how they deal with feedback- if it is not positive, they will ignore you and go on the defensive. When I questioned this policy as well the owner attacked me on facebook. The Yelp reviews show a more accurate, unedited perspective- one which they are unable to edit to their favor. Numerous people speak of the unfriendly staff. This is one of the most dishonest and aggressive companies I have ever had the displeasure of getting involved with. Don't make the same mistake I did.

This place is a great NO CONTRACT gym. For those of you who don't know a contract is stating how long you need to stay with the company before you can leave, usually no less that 6 months to a year. Giving a company notice befor quitting is normal. Asking for EFT payment is convient for you and them. You cannot expect to be a member for free so the electronically take out your money (for your convinience) untill you cancell.. Your complaints are invaled lets try and state something true. The equiptment is nice and kept up with. Every piece of cardio has a personal tv which is great. The staff is friendly and i do agree some of the male personal trainers are intimidating and pushy. They are a trainer they are supposed to push you! If you dont want to be pushed dont sign up. It is a great gym and i wouldnt listen to me or anyone else. Check it out for yourself. Just know the difference between contract and non contract before you complain about paperwork. Its a liability to them to not have some form of documentation of their occupants.
