Our favorite place to go swim, my little girl put her toes in the water here when she was just a baby and now swims all over the pool pretending too be a mermaid. The staff is always very kind. And I've used the weight room a few times. It's more than adequate for a good workout.

Tried the new cafe today. Really disappointed. Had the tuna salad sandwich which basically came with, well nothing. No lettuce. No tomato. Just a very thin smear of tuna salad on bread. The kind of sandwich I would make myself if I was four years old. In fairness I could have had a bag of chips but I turned them down expecting a better sandwich.

The only pool in town and guess what it's walled off by idiotic rules and laws about some garbage about having to own land to use a community club, yet this far out there is no local YMCA, except 45 minutes away in Hoquiam, the old ignorance, I mean logic is real. Never have I heard something stupid like you have to own or have access to parcels of land just to use a gym or country club, that happens to be the only one in town. No wonder why Grays Harbor won't changed, the fossils have rigged the game in their favor, with no one else in mind.

Great community center. I loved the pool and hot tub, and really appreciate that they are strict on the rules. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and informative. The other swimmers were also very friendly and I was swimming right before a class. The participants were friendly and spoke highly of the classes. I'm visiting for the weekend, but if I lived in Ocean shores, it seems a place I would probably use on a regular basis.

I’ve been going here for a while and this is my review. The pool and/or hot tub are broken a lot. The fitness area is full of ancient equipment. There’s a few people in this area that are there to workout, but most are there to create problems that don’t exist and read you the rules they are breaking themselves all while being very rude while doing. Kathleen and her horde allow the maniacs over 50 to run this area like it’s a library. If you’re young that’s against the rules… Don’t make any noise or look in shape or you’ll be labeled “aggressive” and told to shut up. I’ve had threats made against me and was told that they have to touch you before that can do anything. Basketball court is fine. Café is a joke. This is what I’m made to pay for every year and be treated with disdain by members and told to accept it .

Nice place. The indoor pool is geared towards people that are older and walk the pool. A few nice people, but mostly people looking to read you the rules and shut any fun down. Kind of a bummer. There is a decent area to play basketball and pickleball. Clean facility. Just wish it wasn't filled with a bunch of grumpy retirees.

This place insists if you live in OS, regardless if you use the facilities that you have to pay 220 per year due to a supreme court ruling from 1989. I know this because the lady laughed while telling me this and that if we didn't pay, than interest would be charged yearly. She also said (very happy about it) that the community center has a lien on every property.

I love coming to use the facility but every single time I come in with my family which is a lot, the front desk act as if they are the police or something. At first I thought it was kind of funny but now it’s just obnoxiously annoying. Others I have spoken to feel the same. Hopefully this will be looked at and received as constructive criticism. Good family pool. VERY strict on the rules. No diving, no jumping, no kids under 12 in the hot tub, and kids between 12-17 need to play in pairs. Other than the super strict rules the facility is a clean facility with a 3-4.5’ deep pool.

J in the cafe is great! You don't have to be a member to use the cafe, just tell them your going in to eat. It is open early mornings from Thursday thru Monday and on Wednesday evenings for the community music jam session around 5:30. The food is very good and reasonably priced.

After paying $100 something a year for membership in a place I didn't enter for two years due to covid. I finally was able to stop by to see what I'd been paying for. Rather than being welcomed, I was read the rules by someone and somebody else wanted a dollar? My disappointment was immeasurable.
I phoned the next day to mention to a manager I don't need to have anyone read the rules to me, I'm capable. I don't want to pay a dollar. I've paid a couple hundred and have received nothing. I just wanted to see the place. The manager got on the phone and proceeded to read me the rules and ask for a dollar.
Never again. I will not pay them another cent. I will never go back. I will leave this feedback, wish them well, and we are done.

On a family vacation to enjoy and spend some time with family. The rules are so strict and very unspecific. Simply plopping into the pool to get in isn’t allowed. The three power hungry, “speak to your manager” type personalities left to enforce these rules ruined our times. Just a couple kids trying to simply play around in a pool fouled. To finish it off they interrogated us and tried to ban us from the pool. Upon leaving my family also had symptoms of an overly chemically treated pool, using to many chemicals.

Not sure why Ocean Shores needs a Community Club. When we purchased property in the City I was not aware we would be FORCED to join the center. I guess I shouldn't say "join" because it is not something we did willingly. Upon purchase of property you are forced to enroll and pay yearly dues, weather you use the services or not. You are given no choice. Ocean Shores is NOT part of our United States and you have no freedom to choose. You will do as they say and follow their rules without exception and pay for the privilage. I understand it is very hard to unload, er sell your property in Ocean Shores because of having to be part of the Community Center. I'm very sorry I purchased a home here and would advise anyone looking at property to look outside the City of Ocean Shores.
