I myself am a bodyworker and an athlete, and working with Olivia has been an incredibly educational and re-formative experience I didn't expect to ever find in a one-on-one movement lesson. This work feels incredibly nourishing, reinforcing, embodying, this is definitely the most focused I've felt during any kind of exercise practice before. And Olivia is HERE FOR IT! Olivia knows what the hell she's talking about - she takes her work as a student and a teacher seriously, and meets you where you're at each and every lesson with brightness, levity, and presence. I'm a busy person, most of the activity and exercise I do requires recovery and rest. Somehow, pilates with Olivia feels challenging, restful, strengthening, and restorative, all at once. If you're looking for a serious Pilates instructor who will transform your body and make your day, you've come to the right place! I'm coming up on two years working with Olivia. Before joining her practice, I had taken group Pilates classes and always felt left behind, and left knowing I was not getting everything I could out of the day's work. Leaving group classes to work with Olivia is one of the best things I have done for my mental and physical health, and for my overall well-being. I meet with Olivia once a week, and that one day fills me with energy for the following week! She has helped me listen to my body and its complexities, and every session she teaches me something new about posture, what physical strength is and where to find it, and how to trust our bodies and find endurance in ourselves. To do so, she draws on her years of experience as a professional dancer and learning from other amazing practitioners in the region. Her teaching helps me gain confidence about what I can do through her gentle but firm approach. She knows when to challenge you by going to the next level, and when to affirm previous lessons. When describing what Olivia has done for me to friends and family, I often refer to it as life insurance or even a lifeline! She has transformed my sense of what is possible midway through life! I have been doing Pilates with Olivia for several years now. It is an amazing experience that has really helped me achieve better physical well-being. Her dance background and knowledge of kinesiology help her understand strength and movement so she can develop programs which target your body's needs and your specific goals. I’ve been doing Pilates with the wonderful Olivia since May 2022. I would say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself and my body. I am an active athlete and ran track at the collegiate level. I came to her initially because I am a Massage Therapist with the goals of just being overall wellness for myself and clients. Since working with her I’ve been able to connect with my body on a deeper level and really develop a whole new love and care for it. Olivia is an overall an amazing person. I looked forward to our weekly sessions because she teaches from her heart and her passion is felt and reflected in her work. Some people teach Pilates, with Olivia she is one who breaths and lives Pilates and I feel that is important when doing this type of work. Since working with Olivia and doing this work, I’ve benefited both mentally, physically and even spiritually. I didn’t realize how compressed I was and limited in my range of motion because being an athlete and lifting heavy was all I knew. Doing Pilates I’ve learned that that less is truly more and learning to work with my body instead of against it. I’ve gained a whole new love for my body and for Pilates. Thank you Olivia for all you do, you know I appreciate you. So glad our paths cross! One of the best Investments I’ve made.

I started Pilates after they were recommended by my massage therapist to help with back pain. I saw Olivia for about 2 years and needed to stop for a year. When I was able to go back I didn't think of going anywhere but to Olivia. She is kind, encouraging, motivating and I always get stronger working with her. I never want to miss a lesson. It is my retreat from my job and kids once a week. I feel great making and keeping this type of commitment to myself. Olivia makes me feel great to work towards every goal set. I’ve been doing Pilates with Olivia for about 8 years, maybe longer. Every Wednesday at noon I have a class and I really try not to miss. I’ve noticed so much improvement in my flexibility and strength but I’m still always challenged and learning. I’m almost 70 and plan to be doing Pilates with Olivia into my 80’s and 90’s health willing. I love it!

As a Pilates instructor, Olivia is one of the finest I have ever worked with in the 14 years I've been doing Pilates. Coming from a dance background, her approach to Pilates is very different than conventional team sport athlete, and helps to improve coordination, flexibility, and strength in ways that would not necessarily occur to most Pilates instructors. She is a very patient yet demanding instructor, who takes great pride in watching her students improve themselves over time. She also has an extraordinary understanding of the biomechanics of the human body, and is able to articulate that when teaching new movements and exercises. I would strongly recommend her classes for anyone- from a serious athlete to a casual fitness enthusiast - who is looking to improve themselves and have a fun time along the way.

Olivia is truly a wonderful and talented Pilates instructor! She is very meticulous about guiding me to use proper form and alignment during exercises and she tailors each lesson to what my body needs. I have worked with Olivia for almost 4 years. I have worked with 3 other instructors in other states and her introduction protocol is similar to theirs. She definitely pushes you but respects your body's limits. She has always been respectful when I've had mental moments ie not knowing left from right. She constantly changes the workouts so it's never boring and you stay challenged.

I've been training with Olivia for 4 1/2 years, once a week. Olivia is a real joy to work with yet a firm taskmaster (with angel wings). I'm past 60 and feel stronger and more body-confident than since my 20's, owing mostly to Olivia. She's extremely focused & a perfectionist for position and movement quality. You feel energized after class and stand/stride much straighter for the next few days! It's hard work and it's rewarding.
Olivia tailors each session to how you're feeling that day, any temporary limitations you might have, often gently pushing past them.

Olivia is clearly knowledgeable. However, she was condescending to me; when I tried to do what she asked and was confused, she told me that I just needed to pay attention---I was trying!!!! I asked to schedule via email or text, and I was told that this was not her policy and that I had to abide by her studio policy and guidelines. I searched through every piece of information that I could read, and there was nothing written about that.

I love Pilates - the workouts themselves and how I feel every time I leave the studio. Olivia’s knowledge of Pilates and body mechanics and her approach to teaching have made a huge difference for me. I have far less chronic pain and I am stronger and more toned than I have been in years.
