Absolutely love this gym. The location is super convenient, and parking has never been an issue, which makes getting in and out so easy. The facility is clean, bright, and has everything the kids need. But the coaches are what make it special. They’re patient, energetic, and genuinely care about the kids. My daughter has grown so much here—not just in skills, but in confidence. She comes home excited after every practice, and as a mom, that means everything. I’m truly grateful we found this place.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pacific Range Gymnastics is truly exceptional!

I’m so impressed by how well-organized and professional this gym is. Their curriculum, class structure, and competition programs are all thoughtfully designed, making it easy for each child to learn and grow at their own pace. My daughter is in the Xcel program, my son is in their new boys’ recreational class, and my youngest (age 3) loves his little kids’ gymnastics class — and each one has been a fantastic experience!

What really stands out is their communication and customer service. Someone always answers the phone, and the front desk staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. The coaches are wonderful — highly trained, caring, and great at motivating the kids while keeping it fun.

I’m genuinely blown away by how well this gym is run and how much my kids love coming here. Pacific Range Gymnastics has set the bar high — we couldn’t be happier!

Let kids play outside without even offering them sunscreen. My daughter has sunburn and red rash on her face, neck, and arm. I felt I made horrible mistakes to send her there and destroy her skin. Don’t know when her skin will recover at all…..very upset…..

So impressed with how much the staff cares about all of the athletes. I have brought my granddaughter (to gymnastics)and grandson( to Ninja). They are typical and would get off task but the staff gently helped them and were very nice getting them back on task. My grandson loves Coach Colby and has the best time in Ninja class. Very clean and up to date facility. When I have had any questions the front desk has always been able to answer me or promised to get back to me and followed through. Highly recommend!

Pacific Reign delivers because of its owners, who are not just consummate professionals, they are GOOD PEOPLE. The coaching is focused and professional, the environment is clean and well-run, and the overall standard is clearly high. There’s a real sense of purpose to how things are done here, and it shows in the way athletes carry themselves.
This isn’t just another gym. It’s a place where high expectations meet real support, and where people take pride in doing things the right way. I can’t wait for all my kids to go here!

This gym is a thoughtfully designed space that supports athletes at every level—from toddlers just starting out to elites training to become the future Olympians.

Cale’s coaching framework is one of the gym’s strongest assets. It’s structured, progressive, and focused on developing not only physical skills but also confidence, discipline, and resilience. The top tiered coaches are knowledgeable, hands-on, and genuinely invested in each athlete’s growth.

A bonus for parents is the upstairs studio/bar—a comfortable space to work or relax while kids train.

Overall, it’s an amazing program in a supportive, inspiring environment. A fantastic place for young gymnasts to learn, grow, and thrive.

Just a heads-up and tell your kids to be extra careful with their belongings, even when kept inside their lockers. My daughter’s Samsung smartwatch went missing on Monday 6/30/25. She left it in her designated locker before class camp started, and when the class ended, it was gone. I reported it to the front desk, they said the director is aware and has asked the staff to look for it.

My 3rd old has been going for this class for a while now. As a parent who has explored different activities with him, we weren't thrilled about what he was taught in these classes for his age as is.

Today my son was completely ignored and was isolated by a coach who was new to his class (previous coach quit and she seems to be a replacement who is not new with the center). We pulled him out of the class half way due to such insensitive way of treating a child that can never be tolerated. Upon reading reviews further, it looks like we aren't the only ones who faced this issue.

The management should hopefully take this seriously and make necessary adjustments.

*Update*

Management followed up with care and fully acknowledged the concerns regarding the coach behavior and the space restrictions. Looks like they are actively working on addressing these. Appreciate their response.

Our daughter is a member of the Xcel team at Pacific Reign. She joined almost two years ago and is thriving and happy. Huge thanks to her main coaches, Coach Lina and Coach Kim for their ongoing support. They bring an awesome positive energy to the Xcel program while challenging and motivating the girls. It's been fun to watch the progress.

My child, who joined the gym and class for the very first time, was intentionally isolated by the coach for most of the session. No child—especially one who is new and still learning—should ever be treated this way. It is heartbreaking and infuriating to see a coach completely ignore a child just because they don’t immediately follow instructions perfectly. This was my child’s first class, and instead of offering patience, guidance, and encouragement, the coach chose to exclude them. What’s worse, both the manager and I had already informed the coach that my child was new and would need extra support. This is not just neglectful—it is unacceptable. No child should ever feel unwelcome in a space meant for learning and growth.

Since joining the gym, I have seen my daughter's confidence not only in skills, but personal confidence bloom. We've had the opportunity to work with multiple coaches through various levels and tumbling. Each coach has provided an empowering, fun, yet disciplined environment. They foster an culture where my daughter makes friends and talks to her peers confidently, where she generally is more timid, this has carried over to her life outside of gymnastics. She has set big goals for herself within the sport, again because of this gym. An example I want to share occurred when my daughter landed wrong during a tumbling stunt. She temporarily injured herself and was quite scared. Even though she's experienced, her confidence was shaken, yet she didn't want to give up because of all of her progress. In a typical group class, you don't always expect there to be specific considerations made but there were. Shout out to Coach Sol who took the time to set up a specific training drill for my daughter to focus on repetitively so the mistake wouldn't occur again. It was creative, took intention and showed me she cared and thought through how to best support my daughter. She left that day with zero doubts or fear and picked up right where she left off. This gym is ran very well, the service is always outstanding and we truly feel at home here. We can't thank you enough Pacific Reign for providing such an enrinching, fun, and safe environment for our children.

My two boys (aged 9 and 11) had the most amazing time during Safari week camp at Pacific Reign. They came home filled with exciting stories about the different activities from the day and the new skills they tried on the ninja course. We just had our kids' birthday party at Pacific Reign Gymnastics and it was such a hit! Our kids are 3 and 5 years old. We had a group of about 27 kids aged 2-7 and all of them had a blast! The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. They helped with everything: the setup, running the gymnastics and free play portion, and clean up. I could not recommend this place enough! Thank you for making this party so memorable for our kids.

My family and I have had such a great experience at this gym (2 years now). My daughter works with coach Jake on pre-team. Over the last year I have watched her grow in her confidence and ability so much. Jake was very patient and understanding when she was struggling with anxiety over new skills and challenges and it could have went south with the wrong reaction. Now she is loving gymnastics everyday and practices at home for hours after practice! I recommend them to anyone looking for a home for their gymnast! 5 stars!

We were there for open gym. Before we bought the pass, they told us kids could use the whole gym. One day they closed two areas. The one equipment was broken, and for safety concern, it’s totally understandable to close it. The other area was closed for a girl’s training. All the kids for open gym didn’t know that area was closed. When they ran across the area, one female staff yelled at the kids and asked them to go downstairs. Kids obviously looked like didn’t know what to do after being scolded so they just stood there then slowly walked away. The staff even said “Some people just don’t speak English.” to another staff afterwards. The girl had started her training before the open gym started, so the staffs already knew the area should be closed and should be responsible to tell this to the kids. I don’t know why they didn’t say that to the kids or put a sign to block the area. The female staff could even mention that when she explained rules to the kids at the beginning of the open gym. Instead, she chose to yell at kids and saying something improperly.

My daughter (5 Yrs. old) was enrolled in Ninja class (instructor Trace Coyne). During the last class, I saw my daughter was saying/asking something to the instructor (not audible) and the instructor pushed her - it wasn't a good push, it appeared very offensive. I didn't say anything to the instructor and waited for the class to be over to ask my daughter about what happened. She mentioned he pushed her because she was not getting off of him and said something along the line of "get off of me". She is a 5 yrs old and kids this age tend to get close to their teachers for hugs or requests or anything. Even if she was breaking space boundary, an instructor cannot push a kid like this. My daughter was worried that if we talk to her instructor/management, he won't let him join the class anymore. My worry was that this incident only means I need to watch her the entire 45 mins to make sure she is safe or treated nicely in her class! Any parent should feel safe and comfortable leaving children behind in a class!

I asked the front-desk for the owner/manager's information. I emailed him (Owen Sun) to ask whether to email or call to discuss something - he responded immediately that email is a good place to start. I responded back with what happened. I was expecting some acknowledgment that he will look into it or take some step to understand the next thing to do. No response to my second email whatsoever. This is so unprofessional! I am leaving the review for awareness!

We have had an excellent experience for over 2 years now. Great program (ninja) for our 7 year old. Staff are very friendly and caring. As an LGBT family, we did have a bullying episode by a classsmate. We brought it up to his coach, Thaydon. Thaydon discreetly, immediately handled the situation with the family and the activity has ceased. We felt very supported and are very happy these things are taken seriously. Thaydon has shown to be very interactive and caring with all the students. Our kiddo routinely attends open gym and parents night out activities Saturday evenings. He loves his time at Pacific Reign and we love that we get a night out since we have no family here. Overall, very happy we found Pacific Reign highly recommended it for all.

My daughter who is 7 goes to a 5-6pm class on Wednesday. I've seen the coach be unprofessional multiple times. Once she pushed my daughter, the week before she had very stern words for 2 other students for goofing off- "you guys will never be partners again".. I thought this was about learning to enjoy and have Passion for gymnastics at the young age.

Ooof where to begin? We have had nothing but great experiences at Pacific Reign. We came here last fall on a recommendation from a friend and they have exceeded our expectations. Each staff member we have worked with, especially our own Coach Lina, has helped our kiddo develop her love and excitement for the sport. We participated in the showcase last weekend and we were blown away by Coach Kendall's organization of the whole program. As a fellow event planner and sporting enthusiast, it is evident that a lot of thought and intentionality went into its planning and execution. All the hard work of the coaches, staff members, volunteers and athletes did not go unnoticed. Keep it up!

I've been going to the adult gymnastics classes since October 2022, shortly after they started it, and it's been nothing short of life changing! I hadn't competed in nearly 30 years and hadn't gone to a proper adult class in 20 years, so it was a little scary to give this a try again, but it's been awesome at every step. I didn't know Pacific Reign even existed (it's nowhere near where I live) until someone posted about the class on an Facebook group for adult gymnasts. Gena was the first person I encountered when I called to ask about a thousand annoying questions about the registration options, what the class was like, how many people were in it, what skills they work on, etc, etc. and she answered all of them cheerily. She also helped me figure out what to do when I got there (there's a check-in screen and lockers to put your stuff). I should add here it’s also the cleanest most well-equipped gym I’ve ever seen.

Coach Colby led the warm up and Coach Kendall arrived with a very impressive multiple page lesson plan. People drop in on different days or sometimes to both (Mondays and Thursdays) so the level and experience of the folks there each day varies, but there's always options whether you're learning cartwheels or working on back handsprings. Colby brings the energy, jokes, conditioning, and spotting if you need it. Kendall comes up with brilliant drills and progressions, and delivers really astute corrections that have helped me overcome fear and get my skills back faster than I ever thought I would (at 47!) She's also attentive to any restrictions like my hypermobile knees and limited hip mobility and encourages safe practices for adult bodies.

The other folks who come to the class are super supportive, with experienced gymnasts helping the newer folks (or helping me to remember what to do at each station). The class has really rekindled my love for the sport and now I'm looking forward to competing and attending their summer camp. If you're thinking about trying it out, you should. Just bring a good attitude, be curious and observe others if a skill/drill is new (as they often are to me even though I used to compete as a kid), expect yourself to fall repeatedly (trying and failing are part of the process), and be sure to ask lots of questions of the coaches and other gymnasts because we're all pretty happy to help each other out. [Note: If this isn't your frame of mind and you're expecting step-by-step, one-on-one instruction and attention, this class, or any class, might not be for you...I think that most people would find this class to be a lot of fun!]

I'm posting this review for other adults who want to try adult gymnastics. It just wasn't for me, so I'm posting here in case you're like me. Imagine if you had never been in a pool before, arrived at an adult swim class, and were asked to swim on the first day. Then when you start to feel insecure about yourself and become afraid of drowning, the instructor comes over to you and asks you why you're not swimming, and tells you that you should ask for help. This was my experience trying adult gymnastics.

If you're like me, and err on the shy side, you'd probably become really upset and confused. I had no gymnastics experience whatsoever, and made that clear before I even booked the class. I also wrote on my intake form that I had an injury. I was informed that there was "no experience necessary."

I arrived about 25 minutes early and I expected a front desk worker to be present so I could ask questions, maybe welcome me, show me where things are, or tell me what to expect. The front desk was empty most of the time. Eventually someone came around, but the interaction was super brief as she was rushing by; she told me where to leave my stuff and where to wait. When the class started, the instructor asked my name, but I had to ask their name. It was another rushed interaction. By now I'm feeling uneasy and like a foreigner. With gymnastics, there's a certain element of trust that needs to be built between a student and instructor. The class was pretty large; for the price I would expect some clearer guidance upfront on how to perform certain things. (For context, I'm a former swim instructor and yoga instructor, and I've taken just about every fitness class you could imagine.) I expected a more personalized approach (for example the instructor at least being aware of my injuries.)

The two instructors stood on the side and gave out commands on what to do, but it wasn't so much a *class.* You're expected to know what terms are, like the names of drills or skills; if you don't, you copy your neighbor. You're given tasks to do and shown how to do them once. If you don't know ballet terms, good luck with that. If you have a hard time remembering multiple things in your head (assigned skills) you might have difficulty doing the tasks with correct form. Many of these tasks require fundamental skills like a handstand that a new person wouldn't necessarily have. If you don't know what you're doing, you'll slow down the entire class, making the situation even more humiliating. There are virtually no verbal cues (e.g. press through your shoulders, squeeze your glutes, etc.) so you're just chucking something based on what it looks like and hoping for the best. This probably works for kids, but adults don't want to hurt themselves. The instructors also lacked a certain element of professionalism. They were gossiping about students they had earlier in the day. A staff member who was taking the class at one point told the instructor to "shut up." All of this made me uncomfortable x10000. Eventually the instructors sensed I was uncomfortable, the female instructor helped by giving me simpler tasks to do. The male instructor however just couldn't seem to comprehend that I did not have the experience they have. Neither instructor could learn my name even though I was the only new person.

If you're on the shyer side, I wouldn't recommend this class. For the price, the class lacks structure, and the instructors lack patience, professionalism, and empathy. When I asked to cancel my package, they did call to ask for feedback, but I declined because I had already given this gym too much time and energy. After taking some time, I wanted to share this in case you're someone like me.

Update: I have updated my review for clarity on certain events. I find it very alarming that the response to this is to invalidate my experience. In other reviews, the gym is threatening legal action, so it's not surprising that these are all positive reviews. My review will remain because it is factual to my subjective lived experience. The feedback is fair.

Our gymnast has been working on her skills since she was 1 years old. She was in a development program (pre-team) since 4 at two different gyms. Both were detrimental to her self-esteem as she is strong, works hard, and yet was told she was not good enough (with one coach being an exception...more to come). So - after 4 years, I pulled her from gymnastics. This was just prior to the pandemic.

Then in February of 2022, I decided to have her try a new gym. WOW - she had an incredible time. She loved her rec coach and how positive the environment was. In the summer, she joined the XCEL competitive team and fulfilled her goal of being a competition gymnast.

Coach Lina is incredible. She is patient and encouraging with the girls. My daughter has built back her confidence and is loving competing. All the other coaches are amazing as well. Her favorite coach from when she was 6 years old from a previous gym is there now (hi Coach Jade!).

From a parents perspective - it is a great place to be able to watch your kids from the upper deck. And watch the elite gymnasts - WOW! How awesome is it that all of the gymnasts are able to see inspiration everyday!

Lastly, there is a coach I have never met - he is the coach in charge of ninjas. He is calm and fun with the kids and I am always impressed.

I could go on and on with how much I love Pacific Reign and how my daughter's experience has grown her confidence in herself and her love of the sport.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

As a lifelong gymnastics coach, self-proclaimed fangirl of the sport, and former club owner, I AM PROUD TO SEND MY KIDS TO PACIFIC REIGN GYMNASTICS in Woodinville. Rarely have I seen so much high-quality instruction, genuine love, and ambitious vision all under the same roof. I have total confidence in sending my kids to classes here. Fearlessly talented staff, world class facility, and exceptional overall value!

From the moment you walk in, you will see the commitment for a best-in-class experience made to every customer, and every young athlete. I see safety first in their gymnastics and ninja classes, and loads of FUN with energetic coaches who show up excited, and professional. The programs here range from infants/play time, to preschool & recreational, as well as special needs classes, ninja, and an extraordinary developmental and competitive team.

Registration policies are clear and fair. The parent portal makes it easy to register for classes, change days according to my preferred schedule, make recurring payments, and sign up for new programs. My children are even starting their summer camps next week - Mommy can’t wait!! (EDIT: After completing day one, my girls begged to sign up for the rest of the summer! This kind of fun is making them gymnastics lovers for life and even helping them see that the hard work is worth the excitement of learning the best gymnastics.)

Pacific Reign has quickly risen to the top of gymnastics clubs in the area, and I won’t be surprised when they become of our nation’s greatest in this new & improved era of USA gymnastics!

Pacific Reign - what can I say that truly captures the essence of this gym? The coaches are THE BEST! The facility is THE BEST! The kiddos and parents are THE BEST! As a parent who is reviewing a place where both of her children attend (ninja and team) and collectively are here over 20 hours a week, here’s what I know…. And the parent viewing area is incomparable to other places that don’t even allow families to enter and watch. It’s amazing to watch the upper level kids do what they do during our class time too. Lots to look forward to here!

My daughter had her first session today and I was so impressed! The staff were friendly and helpful, the coach was patient and supportive, the program was well structured and the facilities are modern and clean! There’s a viewing loft with plenty of space to watch, relax or socialize with other parents. Most importantly, my daughter had a BLAST!

Great place! They train all range of expertise. My son Andy does some very basic training at 4.5 yr old and he loves it! Coach Lena is very patient and i think it's gonna help Andy with his balance and tripping over himself!

Highly recommend Ascend Gymnastics Woodinville! Their space is new, clean, and beautiful, and the owners and staff are so warm, friendly, and accommodating. They truly care about creating an inclusive space for all members of the community, including those with disabilities with their special needs class. First Step Pediatric Therapy is so proud to partner with Ascend Gymnastics Woodinville to give all children the opportunity to experience gymnastics!

I had my son's birthday party at Ascend Gymnastics and I couldn't be more happy! All the kids had an amazing time. The gym time was well organized, rotating through different parts of the gym. The coach was great at giving directions and making sure the kids were safe and having fun! She was very patient and encouraging with some shy kids. The party room afterwards was great! Ascend Gymnastics handled everything - to setting up the tables, setting out the gift bags and presents and really getting everything ready before and during the party. It allowed me the change to enjoy the party. All expectations were surpassed!

Wow! It’s not often that I am stunned by an experience but when I am, it must be shared. From initial inquiry about introductory gymnastics for my daughter through our first class Ascend has been amazing. I received an immediate response to my inquiry, enrollment was simple, the facility is outstanding, Coach Rachel is wonderful, and we felt welcomed on our first day. Ascend Gymnastics Woodinville has a very bright future!
