I love Parallel 45! The instructors are awesome—super knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and really make you feel welcome from day one. It’s such a good vibe every time I walk in - and so happy I attended every time I walk out.

I also did their 200-hour teacher training and it was an amazing experience. The program was thorough and well put together, the teachers were supportive and inspiring, and I learned so much. Whether you're looking to deepen your practice or start teaching, I totally recommend it. This place is the real deal.

Parallel 45 is such an incredible community, full of wonderful people and amazing, skilled, and diverse teachers. There is such a broad range of styles, and each teacher brings something truly special and unique to their classes. Riley, the owner, is wonderful and has cultivated such a welcoming and special space for yogis of all levels. From your first class to your 10th year of practice, you'll find the perfect space to keep growing at Parallel. I walked into Parallel one day looking to hit up a single drop-in class, and 2 years later, I'm a teacher who found my passion through this studio. A huge thank you to everyone in this community who helped foster my love for the practice and supported/still supports me on my yoga journey😊

Been coming to this yoga studio for years, I haven’t found another in Portland/Vancouver that compares. All the teachers are really skilled and the simple, airy design of the studio makes it easy to focus on your practice. Take a class with Damon if you can! ☺️

Parallel 45 feels like coming home. The staff, the studios, the classes, the schedule - all top notch, all amazing. There is something for everyone. First timer curious about yoga? No problem. Seasoned veteran looking for power or vinyasa classes that will challenge and satisfy your need to sweat? No problem. Have questions, not sure about yoga? Hit them up, they will be happy to help.

This studio is my home away from home and if I could live there I would. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

I was looking for an affordable yoga studio when I moved to Vancouver last year and I'm very glad I found Parallel 45. Very nice instructors, super clean studio, friendly people, variety of classes, and such a relaxing environment to reset.
I've attended mainly the vinyasa and yin yoga classes and all are so great. Instructors offer a lot of variations for those and some even ask us at the beginning of what we would like to focus on during class, which is nice.
I highly recommend Parallel 45 for it's affordable, friendly, and such a welcoming environment!

I've determined this to be the best yoga studio. You can really tell it was made with love and thoughtfulness. Everyone who's there really wants to be there and the classes reflect that, which really allows me to be able to trust the process and let myself stay present in class. It's also such an easy process to sign up, and there's always parking!

I cannot say enough positive things about this studio. I started going here 2 ish years ago as a new student. Totally intimidated by most yoga studios, or anything else like that, I was completely nervous. The instructors made me feel so welcome. I have loved this studio from day one and I know other new students will feel the same. The instructors, other students and vibe are all impeccable. Tha ks for becoming my new yoga family!

I am so grateful that I found Parallel 45 after moving to Vancouver. The studio is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to all people. All of the teachers are so knowledgeable and care deeply about honoring the roots of yoga in a modern world. I just completed their 200 Hour yoga teacher training and could not recommend it enough. I feel much more connected to the practice and am so thankful to Riley, Kelsey, and Kelsey for sharing their knowledge and love of yoga. If you are looking for a studio built on community, love, and integrity this is the studio for you!

I initially tried Parallel 45 because of the unlimited monthly plan, which is the most affordable I've found. I'm so glad I did. The instructors and owner are all so caring and different. I love the range of classes offered and it's so nice to feel personally welcomed and appreciated as an individual. It's difficult to find a balance between having a studio feel like home while also feeling welcoming and accessible to new folks. Parallel 45 does just that!

While I have practiced yoga for many years, and am fond of many studios in the Portland/Vancouver area, I have found my new favorite spot to practice! I had the pleasure of attending a Gentle Flow yesterday for free - your first class is free!! - and it was truly incredible. Joining the mat next to me was a lovely woman participating in her first ever yoga class. The teacher was so helpful throughout the class, guiding us from pose to pose, explaining the benefits and variations of each pose to assist us at our individual levels, and allowing us each to make the most out of our time on the mat. As Savasana was ending, and we returned our minds to the space, we couldn't help but sit in tears together, as we joyfully shared such an incredible experience together. It was very moving, and was a class unlike anything I had experienced before. I absolutely loved the music selection used for the sequence, and the space itself is so beautiful, warm, inviting, calming, and just so peaceful! The decor and setup is also incredibly unique and cool - with natural woods lining the walls, welcoming you into the very natural space.

I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Riley, who was so kind and welcoming, and her energy was so beautiful - I can't wait to spread the word about this gem that is right here in Vancouver! I look forward to taking many more classes here in this beautiful space! Thank you for an amazing first class, and for bringing such a great new studio into the neighborhood!

I was new to yoga last October and am so grateful I landed here. Incorporating yoga into my life has been a life saver for me. However, it’s not just yoga but these instructors and the environment they create; it’s safe, allowing you to go at the pace you need, help if you need it, and a broad range of classes and experience levels. The studio itself is lovely and they have everything you need (mats, bolsters, blocks, belts, blankets, etc). Not to mention it is an incredible deal.

Yoga has been in my life for a while since having scoliosis surgery as a kid, but I slowed down after my first kid. I started going to Parallel 45 in February. I was deep in post partum depression after 2nd kid and I noticed the studio was new near my house. The yoga and teachers saved my life. The power yoga classes help clear my mind, breathe and strengthen my body. Mimi's gentle yoga is a great quiet space to restore yourself after all those power classes. Kris's mindful vinyasa classes help build your strength and proper alignment, a must if trying to improve your practice. I'm so grateful for this studio, I never felt so strong.

I have been searching for a new yoga home for a while. I have taken yoga classes off and on for a few years, but never really found a place I liked enough to stay, and affordability is a must too. So many places in OR/WA are $70 or more a month for unlimited yoga. Not only does Parallel 45 beat out all the rest in price ($45 a month unlimited with no contract!) they have some of the best instructors I have ever encountered. The instructors are approachable, friendly, helpful, incredibly talented and knowledgeable, and you really feel like you are flowing with experts during each class! They practice the utmost compassion as well, so they allow everyone to move at their own pace and help you adjust your postures and poses during the class for the betterment of your practice. The space is so calming and set up beautifully, creating an atmosphere for serenity, learning, and flexibility. I love that they provide towels/blocks/straps/blankets and mats for free, when most other places what to charge a fee for the use of those items we many not all have access to. They provide skillful 101 classes, teacher training, assisting programs, and daily classes that incorporate every type of movement, from more YIN practices to full on fiery YANG practices. The people who attend class are also very friendly and considerate of time/space. I am so happy I can call this studio home, and I hope you all can someday too!

Soooo happy I tried this place! There are several yoga studios closer to where I live, but I drive farther to go to Parallel 45 because the practice seems more inspired, creative, challenging, and instructive. I’ve been to four classes (all Power Flow) so far and learned at least two new poses every time- I thought I’d pretty much seen everything between seven months at my previous studio and reading Yoga Journal magazine for a couple years, but no! The space is really nicely designed and everything (straps, blankets, music, mat cleaning spray, etc) feels thoughtfully chosen. Plus, it usually isn’t too hot or too cold inside, which I personally like. :) Can’t wait to try the evening candlelit classes!

I have never taken a yoga class and had attempted following videos at home before, with no success. Last night I took Yoga Foundations with Kelsey and absolutely loved it. The studio itself is warm and inviting, yet simple. I love how affordable the classes are for drop in's as well as unlimited. When I inquired about how a beginner would do in the other various class options, since the time frame with my work schedule didn't offer too many Foundations, they were very open to working with me and my capabilities, as well as looking at switching the schedule around a little to allow for more Foundations classes at an "after work" time. Kelsey was very helpful throughout the class, with encouraging words, helping you through different poses and explaining the benefits and proper way of performing each pose.

I will be back, as much as I can. I am excited for this affordable, local, nice studio.
