I’m adding to my review here. Planet fitness auburn has been great and love the staff, Tayler and Enrique.

Unfortunately, they have had a broken hydro lounge that has been this way for a month now. I can appreciate a week or two but this is along time especially when you pay extra for the black card then the very thing you’re paying for is broken for this long

Love the gym and the equipment. It varies from location to location but Tacoma’s is great.

All of the locations have been having a problem with their software. It’s okay for a couple weeks but this has been going on for months now. Hard to use everything included in the black card membership.

I recently just joined this gym as a black card member. My mother who is my guest on my membership who comes with me wanted to use the massage chairs. Which she has been able to use three time since joining without any issues. Fast forward to today we come in to use the chairs and the manager Mackenzie. Stops us and tells me that my mom can’t use them even though she is a permanent guest on my membership. Says something about guest not being to use them because of a liability waiver. Which by that logic all of your guests are a liability because they are more likely to hurt themselves on a machine than they are a damn massage chair. She then refused to give us the regional manager contact information lies and says she can’t give that out. She was just plain rude and unprofessional but either way I just skipped your regional manager and contacted the AGs office because it’s clear that you won’t do anything about it. Based on your guy’s pass complaints lets me know that this is an ongoing problem with your management team that seem to be on a power trip. Based on that I will be canceling my membership with you guys' trash is not something I will deal with nor pay for it.

Please spare me the BS about the black card membership members only being allowed to use it because of some crap about a liability waiver. She was allowed to use it three times with no issues until recently on top of that no one told me that my guest on my account was not allowed to use the massage chair and we both did the tour together. Which lets me know not only are your managers untrained and unprofessional so is your membership staff. As, for you supposed liability crap and guest not signing a waiver all you do is provide them a temporary waiver so black card members guest can use them. Also, the fact that they don't sign a waiver opens you up for a lawsuit in the near future because ppl on the equipment are more likely to hurt themselves than on a massage chair. I can appreciate what you're trying to do based on the price, but this isn't a good fit for my family and me.

I'm happy to call this my main club—it's a great place overall. That said, I do wish the facilities maintenance was a bit more attentive. It's not uncommon for the women’s restroom stalls to be out of toilet paper, and when it's reported, it doesn’t seem to be treated with much urgency. I hope this can be improved.

Excellent place 24/7 on some of the locations I wish all of the locations had 24/7 like they publicized I think they should easily do that and there's time to have somebody working there 24/7 to clean those bathrooms that's why I left LA fitness because LA fitness doesn't clean their bathrooms they say that their budget doesn't allow it. So I would recommend that if they're going to run 500 to 3,000 customers through there a day. That they clean those bathrooms every 2 hours make sure there's toilet paper no guy wants to go in there or girl go in there and there's no TP. That's a good place for us to catch covid or something else in a gym cuz we're working hard and we're playing hard.

WORST customer service I have EVER experienced and will not be returning. Requested SEVERAL times to cancel over the phone and via email as I have not been able to get into facility due to my son being in the hospital. Was told early last month they will cancel my membership due to my circumstances and should only be charged the remaining monthly fee. I just got charged more than $100 from the monthly charge and late fees a few days ago. Called yesterday to try and get assistance and rep Riley advised I would have to come in or send letter with my physical signature and disregarded the fees I was charged. Told Riley about what I was told last month and he acknowledged he was pretty sure he knew who told me that (didn't disclose a name) and said it has happened a few times now and nothing he can do but reiterate to the employees the correct policy. Requested to speak to a manager and was told to callback in an hour when they returned. Didn't even attempt to OFFER a callback. Left a review on PF website and GM Zach called me and left a VM saying they refuse to refund ANY OF IT as it's "past due balanced owed" even though his employees lied to me over the phone last month when I called to cancel. I will NEVER return to PF and absolutely disgusted with how they treat their members.

Not a safe space for neurodivergent people. Staff made bets on whether or not I would buy a Celsius because I used to buy it everyday. Also could hear male staff making fun of my eye contact. I have diagnosed PTSD because of trauma men have caused in my life. I’m neurodivergent not deaf. Please have male staff educate themselves on misogyny and ableism. Signed my teen up, considered also joining. However, they have No Personal Trainer, No Classes & were too short staffed to even give me a tour. So there are just machines available LOL. I can do that at home. And they advertise its only $10 or whatever a month but that's after a $50 sign up fee & another $50 a couple months later for a 'annual fee'. It makes my teenager happy but I would never join with no amenities available except some crappy massage chairs you can sit in at the mall LOL.

Update: today I picked my teen up & they were chatting it up with the front desk. We noticed the car parked by ours was broken into so we called the front desk over & over to report it. However apparently they could not bother to answer. Literally they are just talking at the front desk.

The group of PF that includes Auburn are getting rid of Hand Sanitizer, Toilet Seat Covers, Shower Soap, and run out of energy drinks like Celsius, run out of paper towels.

Running out of items is one thing but to axe vital amenities such as the toilet seat covers, hand sanitizer and shower soap is total crap for a gym. What is the point of going back when they can’t even keep the damn basics? Won’t be keeping my membership after finding this out. What a garbage location and management/ownership.

Since I can’t reply to their reply, I’ll say it here. Taking my concerns to the club mgr will not result in these changes being reversed. These kinds of decisions and dumb budget decisions are made at a higher level, especially if they affect the PFs in the local group. Lastly, one of the things i was proud of PF in doing was their focus on a clean environment. Taking away shower soap, hand sanitizer and toilet seat covers to save a few bucks is absolutely outrageous due to the potential health impacts on members. *For clarification, they will use the stock on hand until it runs out but, no plans to order more. Its being phased out.*

I have been a member at this gym for 3 years now, Auburn WA location.. The staff are ok, but it seems like they are just there to hang around and get paid. There are two ladies who are very friendly and passionate about this place, and their smile and energy always boost my positive energy to enjoy my workout. I think the others can learn from them. About two days ago, the Assistant Manager was rude, and he was unwelcoming. They should smile and give positive energy because they are the front of the company.

Judgment-free zone, I guess not, at least for this gym. You can’t wear cutoff sleeve shirts to a specific cut, gym stingers, can’t bring backpacks or your own gym equipment. “ you can bring stingers packs.” they don’t have enough 45s plates. This is the only gym that has given me issues. Other PFs don’t give me any problems with gym wear. Or bother me with anything. I will say for the most part the staff here is incredibly nice. but as a good person, I have to follow the rules.

The Planet Fitness staff has been amazing especially Sherie is an amazing worker she’s so sweet! She is an incredibly hard worker she Makes sure everything is clean and greets everyone. very friendly and will answer your questions to the best of her abilities! It's okay. One of the girls there shouldn't work there any longer. She's just not a person I enjoy talking to nor like to see. Not very pleasant. Other than that it's pretty well maintained but some of the people there need be trained better with the software and made aware what to do if one of the machines go down or something.
