I like most of the staff — they’re friendly and professional. But the guy working on 11/1 (Halloween night) around 1:30 a.m. was not the case. I cut my finger in the fitting room (the locker is a safety hazard), and I just wanted to be safe — so I “dropped the weight” (it was a 50 lb machine set, not a dumbbell) during my last rep. Honestly, other people in the gym were doing the same thing, you could hear metal clanking sounds all over. Maybe show a little more care instead of coming all the way over just to lecture me? It was ridiculous, and I genuinely felt discriminated against, since I looked around and saw I was the only one who looked racially different in that space.

We really like this new facility close to our home. The staff are friendly, and the environment is clean and comfortable.

We have one small suggestion: could the shower area add another curtain, so that the dry area outside becomes as private as the current curtained wet shower space? This would improve the overall user experience.

Staff is always polite and friendly and quick to assist if you need it. I was asked to put my bag away (I didn't notice the sign) because it's a safety hazard. When I looked, I saw it was up in a few places, so definitely my bad! I saw someone else be asked as well but they got mad. It's not hard to follow rules a business has 🤷🏻‍♀️

Came here with my girlfriend and her sister for a quick workout in between classes at UW Bothell. In the middle of my workout one of the employees operating maintenance came over to harass me about the my workout equipment (consisting of some rubber bands and our 3 water bottles). I go to PF gyms to be left in peace to work out on our limited schedules. This is clearly not a PF that upholds those values sorry to say.

It was good, very clean compared to what I saw in Volusia. Same for literally every planet fitness I have been in since moving to Washington. They’re all great, just wish some of the handicapped restrooms had full sized shower curtains, it seemed very strange they did not have a full sized shower curtains shower curtain at one of the nearby locations covering the full length of the shower curtains. This made me too uncomfortable to utilize the bench seat, which I would ordinarily give up for accessibility, but I had really tired out my legs the other day practicing my hand eye and leg coordination, and was hoping to sit down while showering off but skipped it out of the uncomfortable open nudity required.

Was blamed for discarding trash in a spa, despite no spa.

When I signed up, Martin gave me a great tour and made everything super easy to understand. He’s always around, working hard, and if you ask anyone a question they’ll usually say, “Ask Martin!”—which tells you how much he’s the go-to guy here. The gym is always clean, the vibe is friendly, and it’s just a nice place to work out.

I like this Planet Fitness facility in Bothell.

First time at this location, it’s great! All the machines are new, and there are plenty of free weights and stairmasters, more than other locations!

Update (06.18.2025) They’ve accidentally canceled my membership twice. On the second occasion, they reached out after a bad review and then they didn’t reply so I’ve decided just to drop them completely. The lack of communication or competent staff isn’t worth my time. Seems like no one who works there knows how to do their job, unless that job includes texting behind the counter all day.

This gym is constantly left unattended. I took pictures and video to prove it. This morning i've been sitting here for close to 45 minutes waiting fir someone to arrive to the front desk to grant me access to the black card spa. I pay wayy too much money to not be able to access my black card benefits. Do better p fitness.

I go here regularly and machines are out of order all of the time now. The oblique machine has been out of order for weeks. It's frustrating when you have to skip a part of your workout for longer than a week. This isn't just a problem at this location it's a problem at all locations I have been to.

New gym but the practices are borderline unethical. Signing up for a membership is easy, canceling they make very difficult. Front desk personnel can't do it, only managers. Can't do it on the app, just the website but you have to hunt for it. While navigating the cancellation process I got charged for another month. Also, read the fine print, they sneak charges in. Annual charge of ~$50 one month after signing up. Not cool, do the right thing PF.

Sent email to hopefully resolve some of the issues and just got a computer generated response. Watch out for this place, they are a slimy business.

I don't know who's behind this planet fitness. Here in Arlington and other cities they are doing an excellent job. Let me tell you they keep the place way cleaner than 24 hour fitness. In some cities there open 24 hours a day. What an Excellent place. And the price is right!

nice new gym and great staff but probs with HVAC! either freezing cold or boiling hot like a sauna. Have mentioned it to staff. Too hot to do cardio now. Many gyms have same issue but we live in 21st century now so it shouldn’t be a problem to get it right. Cannot return until it is safe & comfortable!

Some of these machines need to have the signed corrected to “permanently out of order”
The place is almost always a mess, no body outs anything away. I’m always cleaning up at other people. I’ve picked up several empty water bottles. To be clear, I put this more on the other gym goers than the staff. Clean up after yourselves people. 🤦🏻‍♂️
Ive seen cleaner gyms with more people and less active staff. Bothell should be ashamed of itself.

But you know, the equipment that does work is brand new, and it’s close to home so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not bad. Can’t beat the price. Good new equipment. Why are people lazy about parking (vying for closest spot) when going to the gym? That’s a character flaw. Lots of their customers don’t wipe the equipment after use so before and after wipe downs make it longer. Another character flaw.

Woodinville location is the best!
I enjoy the friendly front desk staff and manager here. Good circuit training and other advantages for full body strength 💪 🙌 and conditioning. I am 70 years old so have 50 years of weight lifting regime in my life to stay youthful and immunity strong through my best food choices 💪.

I started going to the new PF location the day they opened and I LOVE it. The staff is so kind, helpful and go out of their way to assist with anything. The bothell location is clean, big, so many machines, a great gym! My family is so pleased with this location. So happy they opened! We were going to another location farther away and we're stoked they were opening by our home. I definitely recommend this gym.

The staff does not clean the gym in the middle of all the bugs this winter, when asked Clare at the front desk responded rudely , arguing they are short staffed!
For a new location this place smells!
And the access to the hydro massage is impossible , why pay extra for black card if the access is limited; is like to owner does not want the machines used ! AVOID!!

I signed up 1/17/25 because of the location, cleanliness and in-house recovery and tanning facilities. However, I had to cancel 2/8/25 due to a rude and confrontational front desk associate/manager on duty. I signed-in, they took a look at their computer screen, took a look at me and asked who's owned the sign-in account. Things escalated from there and I decided as nice as the gym was, interacting with front desk staff like this isn't for me. Please invest in training your team. They are the key to repeat business. Cheers.

Do not join this place!
I made a huge mistake and just join this club.
When I signed up it was stating on their website on the sign up page "no commitment" - that turned out to be not true.
I used it only one day on January 16th and did not like it so I came back next day to cancel it.
I was told by manager Jacob that I will be charged $24.99 monthly fee (even though I only used it for 1 hour) plus I might get charged $49.99 yearly fee.
Basically for 1 hour of use I was already charged $6.95 and will be charged $24.99 plus $49.99 so be aware.
