I have traveled frequently and have been to many Planet Fitness gyms. Out of many this is the cleanest locker room so far. Thanks to Zephyria (I hope that is spelled right) who was cleaning the locker room today like a VIP was coming over. I’ve been here three weeks for work, and am so grateful for a nice clean gym and locker room!!

Start with the locker room with dirty showers and soap that is never in the dispensers. For some reason the gym area is warm but the locker room is freeing cold why can't they figure that out? The guide bars on all the machines never get cleaned and they need a lubricant. It adds a unneeded and uneven resistance that throws the users lifting off. Easy fix but they refuse to do it.

Really awesome gym. No politics, no drama. The employees maintain professionalism. They seem happy you are there and greet you with enthusiasm. They resolve any issue in a timely manner and with a positive attitude. The value is top notch. I appreciate being able to work out and go tanning for $25 a month. They let my teen go here for free! Started going to this location before work. After a workout I use the showers to get ready for work. I have made 3 different complaints to the staff letting them know that the locker room and showers need some serious attention they said they will take care of it. There is soap all over the walls and the shower curtains need to be cleaned or replaced. Well this is what it looked like at 6am this morning 7/21/25. I will not be returning to this location.

All I want is to downgrade my membership, but these guys will do everything they can to prevent me from doing that. It has been two weeks, three in-person requests and one phone call with the manager and NOTHING was done. I kept getting empty promises. The Mill Creek location staffs told me they reached out to the manager of this Everett location numerous times to ask him/her to transfer, it has been two weeks and nothing was done. Very unprofessional and shady business. Once you sign up, they will make it so hard for you to change so you continue to pay them.

Great deal for their PF Black membership. I toured all the gyms in the Lake Stevens area and they were the best value for all they offer in the area. Love the amenities and the location is great, parking is easy.

I started going to this location more because I prefer the larger space. Lake Stevens is a little smaller so the machines are closer together. I find the other location usually has more staff coverage than this one and it's newer than this one. Some of the machines here don't move quite as smoothly but I really like the space. Recommended.

Under the new management this location is more concerned with getting our personal identifiable information (PII) like bank account numbers, than it is with customer satisfaction, or even making a buck.

I moved out of the area a couple years back, so when I came back I was hoping to utilize this gym again, having remembered it fondly. I didn't want to provide a bank routing number, and offered to pay a year up front, but they turned me down. It's a shame because when I went here before it was an earnest place that didn't insist on PII, and everyone on staff was helpful, and accommodating. Here's hoping for new management for the Everett Planet Fitness.

This is an update to my review now that we're a year in on the pandemic. My overall sentiment has not changed. The Planet Fitness in Everett is great!

- It's a great value. A month of planet fitness will cost less than a single night of pizza. It is as cheap as a Netflix account. It's worth it!

- This gym is always clean. Even the Men's locker room.

- If you got a black card you can rely on the hydrobeds being available. They are quick to handle the maintenance on these. I've been coming here a couple years and I've never seen one of the beds down for a full week.

- People are wearing their masks. It's safe to come to this gym. I don't know what it's like elsewhere but here in Everett it's been chill. Folks are getting their work out in. There's some banter and some waving but for the most part the crowd here is workin out and gettin out.

- I love the staff at this gym. They handle a lot of customers at once which can be taxing. I find overall however they are friendly and professional.

Shoutout to Chris: Yesterday, I saw Chris at the counter on his lonesome handling six customers at once. He used his initiative to quickly handle the regulars while also keeping his attention on new gym goers. Rock on! Hope your manager sees this!

This is my third or fourth time joining Planet Fitness at the Everett location in my hometown. When I returned a few months ago, I was disappointed to see the poor maintenance of cleanliness, particularly in the men’s showers and locker room. However, I’m happy to report that things have significantly improved in the past month, and the facility is now spotlessly clean. I genuinely enjoy this place and look forward to continuing to visit a gym that makes me feel great and refreshed afterward.

The gym itself is perfect and fits all my needs. The staff is thoughtful and very kind. The area around and the parking lot not as much. Lots of syringes on the floor and a sketchy feeling. This is by far the biggest Planet Fitness location I have been to so far. Planet Fitness is a top-notch gym with a judgement-free culture, whether you're a professional bodybuilder or just looking to lose a few pounds, Planet Fitness is the gym I would recommend. Lax management leads to lazy employees. I get it the employees aren’t trainers but a hello at the door goes a long way when we walk in instead of buried in texting or reading a book. I literally clean the locker room in the morning when I get in at opening because no one did before they closed or opened and I want others to feel it’s been cleaned. The bathroom smells strong because the urinals haven’t been cleaned in weeks. The shower in the far corner is guaranteed building black mold from being sprayed by the cracked shower head at this point (wet all 10 days I’ve been here for work). Same gunk in the shower for 5 days at a time. Sinks haven’t been cleaned. It’s all a little gross.

I’ve let each employee know these things. So, here you are. Owner check in on the facility and your management. Your cleaning schedule is non-existent and it shows but most won’t say anything. They just won’t be back.

I used to get intimidated looking to get a membership before in other facilities until PLANET FITNESS came into the neighborhood. I was sold on day one of my visit there just to check it out. Great gym. The people at the front desk are always nice and they have good equipment and recently added new equipment as well. They're open early and close super late and sometimes they're 24 hours. I recommend getting the $25 membership so you can always bring a friend or a partner and have access to other gyms in the US. I've been to multiple in planet fitness locations in Washington trying to find my favorite one and after a year or so of being at planet fitness, my partner and I both agree Everett is our favorite one.

I feel that $25 month is reasonable for what I get in return. I've been signing up for classes lately, and I am really happy with your trainer Michelle and the variety of choices I have. I do have some suggestions for improvements to the app... 1. Put the sign-up for classes link on the main (home) page. 2. If you have already signed up for a class, add a message the instructor button. 3. Add an internal message feature that allows you to message other members who are checked in (if they choose to turn that feature on). 4. Add a build your own workout feature where we can add any of the machines to your workout, weight setting, reps, and dates we worked out. Allow us to build multiple workouts so we can select the workout we want to do that day and follow the workout. Also track the history, so we can see how we have progressed over time. You could also have several workouts in this format pre-loaded that we can start with, and .odify if we choose.

Changing my review because I was left behind and completely forgotten. I was burned by a tanning booth on June 18, 2024 because a Front Desk person did not take the time to review how the ultra violet lighting is very intense and it really doesn't take much time at all to burn if not careful. Of course, all this very helpful information comes spewing forth AFTER i have been burned! Skin all over my body = heated & itchy cuz my skin has been damaged and is irritated. MORE TIME NEEDS TO BE TAKEN ASKING THE USERS ABOUT THEIR TANNING BED/BOOTH HISTORY BEFORE BEGINNING ANY TANNING!!! LAST TIME I USED A TANNING BED WAS 1980s. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DON'T KNOW ABOUT MODERN-DAY EQUIPMENT, ETC. I RELY ON THE FRONT DESK STAFF TO BE MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE THAN ME. PLUS, I DIDN'T THINK IT TAKES 24+ FOR A CALL BACK. Staff is super friendly, equipment is pretty nice and maintained well and gym is almost always pretty clean. The environment is really safe feeling. I’ve never felt uncomfortable and have always been left alone to do my thing. I can’t say that about all gyms.

Downsides: The shower curtains are always mildewy in women’s showers which is really gross. People also can’t read and spill pre/post workout in the changing rooms and don’t clean up after themselves. Which is unfortunate because that’s totally outside the gyms control.

I definitely recommend. Membership is really reasonable and I love the red light and tanning options as well.

Employees are kind. The machines are breaking down and the one tanning bed to lay in is always down. For someone who has very low blood pressure which drops more in the heat to stand there. Wow, just wow. I do travel nursing and utilize planet fitness for a nice comforting shower and hydro massages. After long 12+ hour shifts of caring for others and the communities of Western WA, I can say nothing but thank you to the care and kindness that was shown at this location.
When I'm away from home, knowing planet fitness locations are always near to help me relax and recoup so I can do it again tomorrow, is amazing!
I came to this particular location, the woman who greeted me when I checked in, she was so nice and gave me a warm smile.
When I came to use the black card area and a massage, another woman who was at the front desk, also greeted me and was genuinely kind, helping me twice.
If people don't know how nice it is to be made to feel at home when your far away from yours, you should visit this location.

My friend and I come here frequently and have noticed that the last few Sundays they have consistently opened late. Someone either comes in right on the dot or so long after that multiple people end up leaving. Frustrating that the payments are taken out of our accounts on time but we aren’t getting the services we paid for. The fridge is consistently out of stock and the locker rooms seem to never be cleaned. Always a strong odor in the building which I feel is due to improper cleaning.

I have been coming to this specific PF location for the past year and I have never felt compelled to write a review until now. I would like to ask, how is it that half the machines are broken and no one comes to fix them. Half of the stair masters at this location are broken and have been for at least 3 months, probably more. At this point just replace them. It’s insanely busy and the stairmaster is a popular machine, but they are always broken. Why even bother paying for a membership when it doesn’t even go towards the upkeep of equipment? This goes for all equipment as well. The leg press was broken for a month, and i’m not even sure if they actually fixed it, or if they just decided to take the out of order sign off. Their smith machines are inconsistent, and some benches aren’t seated properly. Cleaning stations aren’t consistently stocked, and several paper towel dispensers don’t even work. I’m seriously considering switching gyms at this point. Very frustrating to have been really loyal to PF for over 2 years and then consider leaving. Management needs to step up because I know i am not the only one who is frustrated about this. Only giving 2 stars since i know this isn’t the employees fault, but managements.

My fiancé was charged a $15 fee when nothing was late. The first month was paid up front in person and the next monthly payment wasn’t even reached and he was still charged a $15 fee on our bank account. We go to the same gym and it didn’t happen to me.
