1 start for the most unclean gym I’ve been. I’ve contacted corporate about this already before and they did good cleaning the floors for about a week before they stopped again. Every corner & around the machines is dust piles and dirty. It’s disgusting and I can’t even put my phone on the floor or I’ll catch some disease. The pictures don’t even do it justice. Looking for another home gym at this point.

I like this gym, it's close and is never too crowded. It's got decent amount of equipment but it's very dirty. Especially around the machines there big clumps of dust and hair all around the gym. I've never even seen anyone sweep or vacuum. Good gym, friendly staff but super dirty

Had an awesome experience, the front staff are Very welcoming and friendly, also had a chance to work with the trainer and he is amazing, very knowledgable, patient, gave lots of advice on how to work out safely, establish a routine and also pushed me to do beyond what I thought I couldn’t. I enjoyed every bit of it despite being very hard. Looking forward to more sessions with him. The place is also nice, clean not too crowded and good environment in general. I like it alot.

This place is absolutely filthy. The mirrors are dirty, the floors are never swept or wiped, and the sink area where people are supposed to fill water bottles is disgusting—I couldn’t even use it. The mats and equipment are in terrible shape too. It’s clear they don’t care at all about cleaning or maintenance, which is unacceptable for such a crowded location.

A third of the equipment didn't work correctly. Most of the tread mills heart rate monitors didn't work. The computer that sets up the times to use the massage chairs worked 50 percent of the time and was hard to get someone available to set you up. They were always away from the desk. Decided to end my subscription and found out I was lied to when i signed up. Was told I could cancel anytime before due date and i would not be charged only to find out when i went to cancel they said "Oh, you have to cancel 7 days before due date in order not to be charged for one more month. Scam!

I’ve been a member at this Planet Fitness for a few years, but the last couple of visits have been disappointing. Both times I went in the mid-afternoon, there was only one person working the entire gym. I had a chance to chat with the staff and let them know about the condition of the place, but unfortunately, nothing seems to have changed.

The gym looks dirty and neglected — there’s a visible layer of dust on the walls, and the floors don’t look like they’ve been cleaned in a long time (not sure if the vacuum is broken or just not being used). For a place that promotes a “clean and welcoming” environment, this location is really slipping.

I’ve stuck with this gym because it’s convenient, but management needs to step up staffing and cleaning standards. Until then, I can’t recommend this location.

I'm a big Planet Fitness fan. This one has much smaller showers but they are functioning well. There isn't any hybrid tanning beds. It is clean and well maintained. I do like the fact that it is 24 hours.

Planet Fitness has an almost perfect business model for the service they provide. It has all the various workout hardware 95 percent of people need. The facility is clean, the equipment is plentiful and you can't beat the cost. The only thing missing is you and a commitment.

Crowded during peak time when trying to go the the gym after work. This is all due to a company wide policy of letting teens workout for free all summer with no restrictions, so you have groups of teens sitting at machines and using up resources while paying members have to wait around.

I love the new upgrades they made, super happy with the high tech treadmills. Also you can lift free weights in three areas of the gym now which I’m really grateful for, now I don’t feel as self conscious since I have room to do my own thing without being watched. My only complaint is that it’s too hot in the gym, maybe that’s just me but I definitely find it hard to cool off without going outside and will often end my workout early because of it.

Gym is clean and staff are nice. Biggest problem is all the campers on machines with their phones. Just want to get in and out and often have to skip machines because people sit there way too long. Especially a problem in the circuit area. The half hour circuit takes about an hour because of this issue.

This location has very nice staff, but plenty of issues have prompted this review. They got new treadmills, stairs steppers, bikes and elliptical 2 months ago, that are great. Problem is the treadmills reboot several days a week. The machine stops mid workout and it's difficult to start them up. The staff is aware of the problem and are trying to fix it, but it's been 2 months now. They took all the toilet seat covers out and when I asked about it, I was told it was a corperate decision to save money. When machines break, it takes weeks, if not months to repair them. If you are looking for a gym where they put profits before customers, this is your gym.

I absolutely love this gym. The staff is always nice & helpful. I feel at home here. I've never been comfortable going to a gym before bc I'm self conscious. But, here I can be myself. I just put my headphones on, play my Silent Theory playlist & then I'm in my own world. I push through & I feel amazing afterwards. All the stress, tension, frustrations just melt away. Then I spend 8 min in the tanning booth to get my dose of vitamin D & increase my serotonin levels & come out a stronger happier me 😊

Assistant manager is really rude, team miss guided me and then she denied from everything and she said what i say nobody can't change. She don't want to listen anything. There is a very immature and rude girl there Named Paige. I’ll never go back there she’s a liar and a problem starter. She engages more into the problem with her negative energy instead of trying to find a solution. She put false claims in my account and refused to remove them until I made her verify that what she put was false. When I asked for her manager she told me she doesn’t have time for this. Which is very rude insinuating
Whatever issue I was having was not important enough. She really needs to learn how to communicate with guest and be honest. I hope no one else gets treated the way I was treated today.

Oh man… I had to delete my five star review and leave one star in the hopes that management takes notice. They are reconfiguring the black card lounge so that you need to do this really tedious self check in at the front that is glitchy all the time. You also can no longer call in for additional time on a bed or a chair, but rather have to get up and do the whole process over again. Really bad experience and I'm considering dropping my membership down to the $10 level.
This gym is generally super clean and the staff are mostly very nice, but the above situation is a dealbreaker and a really poor customer experience.

I feel very uncomfortable when people take videos of me at the gym. I think that is a reasonable expectation of privacy for both women and men. But the amount of people taking recordings and video calls is unacceptable. Otherwise this gym isn't too crowded and has very nice staff and big fans to keep us cool

My asthma flared up ( coughs ) after 10 mins work out, machines needs detail cleaning once a month
( dirt , dust and cob webs )
The gym size is big , lots foots traffic .. should be vacuum at least twice a day ( I have a cleaning business customer expect cleanliness )
Please put cautious sign up when mop gym floor ( slippery when wet )

Awful place, pictures of the machine “ temporary out of order “ posted 2-3 months , owner Saved tons of money not fix machine . Customer is losing $ signed up w gym and machines they can’t use , it’s unfair .

This is a very good gym. It's inexpensive and no frills but it really gets the job done. I knocked two stars off because they got rid of the showers that didn't make it hard to not have wander around naked. Maybe that seems trivial but I loved not worrying about people seeing me. I only trust it being "judgement free" when I'm wearing clothes.

This is nice but one of the staff is unprofessional, I used to be a black card member but I changed it to regular. One day stop by to use the bathroom and this staff allowed me and followed me to the bathroom and asked me “I thought you came to use the bathroom” that thrown me off the hook. I joined PF 3 months ago at a different location. The way the manager at this location scanned and dismissed me when I asked for a 'one time exception' to work out there, not knowing the ‘rules’ as a lifelong 24HF member that picked up a PF membership at another location, felt very racial, cold, and microaggressive. He showed impatience when the check-in app took too long to load, and his energy and vibe were far off from the professional treatment I receive at the location I originally signed up. I never called someone out their name until I met him, and now understand why so many others wrote off PF long before I got a membership there to help lessen the commute to my other gym (which has never turned me away when I accidentally showed up at a restricted location btw—thank you 24!). Teague in his half minute interaction changed my entire perspective of the Planet Fitness brand.

I got the Premium membership because of the bells and whistles it came with on top of the most important factor - 24hrs ACCESS! Now the Federal Way Gym close 10pm or 11pm while other locations still does 24hrs. Not very pleased with this move. I moved from 24hrs Fitness to Planet Fitness, may have to switch to Fitness Quest instead.
