I was using the machine at the 30 mins work out area and the lady wa hogging two machines at the time. At the time I didn’t know she has hogged two machines at the same time. she left for another machine and I went to go to the machine she was done with (I assumed she was done because she left that machine). And then she came back later asking for my machine back but I am not done. Then proceed to stand behind me making me uncomfortable. And then out of no where this Africa American dude came to harass me about not giving the machine to the lady. He says I wasn’t a gentleman for not giving up the machine for the lady. I am sorry but rules should be applied to all person regardless of sex or gender. And kept harassing me and wouldn’t stop even when I told him to stop. I came to the front desk to report to Jaylen but he was no help as he sided with the guy because he is a regular here. I pay money here and should be treated the same regardless of gender and people shouldn’t have the right to hog two machines at the same time. I asked Jaylen if people have the right to hog two machines at the same time and he says yes. Where is that rule?

I was puzzled as to why you can't eat there well I just came from Costco and I don't like eating in people's vehicles cuz usually it's awkward so I had a pizza there you know piece of pizza I didn't have a whole box and I thought it'd be okay for me to eat there well I mean I don't make it a practice to eat in the gym you know usually smells like sweat so most of the time it's probably not a great place to eat but it wasn't very busy I thought well I'd be okay you know and then this girl shes probably been there for 2 months came over and said oh you can't eat in here you can't drink in here either I asked her well what about Gatorade when you're working out she said yeah that's fine and I had a coffee with me too I asked about coffee because I like to have coffee and I'm working out I don't know about you but it's got caffeine in it I just thought it was weird that's why I gave them three stars I still like the place even though it's far as hell from my house I can't get anybody to get a gym over here cuz you know they're they're smarter than I am. Normandy Park doesn't even have a gym anymore so I know for sure they could go there and make a bundle. Happy birthday in a thousand members right away they wouldn't even have to do anything just open up.

I joined a few months ago and I went to this location and was told my 12 year old can't use the treadmill with me there, then they said we have to leave and she can't even be in the building, then I come back alone and I try to ask the staff and question and get a drink and I'm just unknowledged for like 15 minutes , so I come back to cancel and now I'm getting changed the annual fee. I'm so mad. They have been nothing but rude when I go in now I have to pay a annual fee for something I don't want and I'm not happy with.

It is a planet fitness. It would get more stars but the hydro beds are almost always broke. Unavailable or malfunctioning. It is hard to get dumbbells and on certain machine. I think they need to remove some of the ellipticals, half always empty if not more and add more universal gyms, back extensions and squat racks

I've been going here for almost 5 years and this is my favorite PF location I've ever been to. The staff are all lovely people. They're always kind and helpful and they remember your name and they do such a good job of keeping everything clean and stocked. I love how spacious and well organized the gym is. The equipment and facility are well maintained and anything out of order doesn't stay that way for very long. I honestly can't say enough good things about this location. There's a location closer to my home but I go out of my way to go to this one because it's so good.

There’s is no large studio for classes or working out away from dudes but there’s usually a few women working out in the weights area making it more comfortable and accessible. There’s are mostly weight machines versus free weights. This makes it so even beginners can have the proper form and know what they’re supposed to be targeting with any given workout. I like to freestyle so I do wish there was more space and free weights. All the machines are in great shape, I think this is a brand new Jim.There is a cleaning station and water fill station and that’s pretty much all you need. I do recommend the black card if you always go with a friend or want the massages. The massages are machines that they let you use in 10 minute increments.

I've been a member here for a while, and while there are some great things about this gym, there are also areas that need improvement.

First, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which is always appreciated. The equipment is in great condition—everything works properly, so you never have to worry about broken machines. The tanning beds and massage machines are a great bonus and definitely add to the value. For the price, this gym is still a great deal.

That said, cleanliness has become an issue recently. The bathrooms have been downright disgusting lately, with toilets that clearly haven’t been cleaned in over a week (the stains are obvious). There are no paper towels in the bathroom either, which makes it inconvenient if you need to blow your nose or wipe down the always-wet countertops.

The gym’s temperature is another downside—it’s freezing in the winter, which makes working out uncomfortable. On top of that, the music is rarely at the right volume; it’s either too loud or too quiet, which can get annoying.

Despite these drawbacks, this gym is still a great value for your money, thanks to the amenities like tanning beds and massage machines. With better attention to cleanliness and a few small adjustments, it could be an amazing place to work out.

Been going here several times a week for 8 months. In that time, not a single member has yelled or cursed at me for interrupting their sUpEr SeTs by sitting on an empty, unattended machine. I was getting confronted on 30% of my visits for this at LA Fitness. Also unlike LA Fitness, the gym staff seem happy and pleasant and genuinely wanting to help members. I have been to 4 other PF locations and experienced the same at all of them. I am officially a devoted Planet Fitness fan!!

Excellent planet fitness to go to I just wish it would open earlier in the morning like the other ones around the area, I’ve been coming here for a couple years now I love the equipment that they have, The Smith machines need upgrading mostly all of them have a lot of drag/resistance to them. They’re not smooth anymore. That’s the only reason why I gave it a four star because the smith machines are the main pieces of workout equipment there people use.

If you're iffy about signing up because of hidden fees do yourself a favor and do not sign up. For one they made me sign up online so when I came back in to ask about why I was told I wouldn't have a signup fee but was charged one they could tell me that I signed up online and that nobody would've told me that. Then I call to cancel because my spouse passed away suddenly and I went from two incomes to one and I'm now a single mother they told me I need to come in and when I go in nobody can help me. Planet fitness sucks. It's very common to have your locker broken into and the staff does nothing about it. If you're just starting to workout and don't really care about fitness this is the place for you. The heaviest dumbbell is only 75. They make it sound like a great deal in commercials but they still have a sign up fee. And still charge you a month after you quit your membership for a real gym.

I am very unhappy with the service at planet fitness. My daughter started going to this gym in late Jan 2024. She went in on February 27 2024 to cancel membership that she thought she was on month to month and Liinn the manager charged her 53$ on February 27, 2024 in order to stop payment. She was only going to gym for two months She told my daughter she can still go to gym until the 17th of March whicn makes no sense!! The manager(Linn) refused to give my the regional managers contact information when I called. Instead she tried to give me the name of an old manager and tried to avoid giving me the Regional manager information I was not able to get the contact info to the Regional Manager to discuss my daughter"s situation I truly did not appreciate the way Linn treated me when I called her to discuss the charges my daughter card . I would appreciate a reply from the Regional Manager

My daughter signed up on Jan 30th and on Feb 27th she decided to cancel because she wasn’t satisfied and when she went into the Gym, Linn the manager charged my daughter 50$ to cancel her membership but my daughter NEVER signed any contract and DIDNT even know of this charge prior to signing up. The new owners of this location are however horrible. They do not understand how to run a business here in Seattle. A 7am start time at a formerly 24hr gym is unacceptable. I signed up for 24 hours. You are taking the money of people who are expecting to be able to workout early mornings. You know the business model you bought and you are trying to change it to suit YOU and not the customer and it shows. And then you put the weight of dealing with the rightfully frustrated customers on the backs of lovely humans who aren’t paid enough while you sit and make money doing nothing. Genuinely should be ashamed. I hope you sell the business to someone who actually cares about catering to their customer and treating their staff well enough that they want to stay. The turnover rate at this location is INSANE. And it’s the owner’s fault.

This is the first time I’ve tried this particular location. The parking lot was not full and the inside of the club was clean. I was greeted when I walked in. The main purpose for this visit was to get a hydro massage. I ended up hitting up some machines. I was overall pleased with my visit and can’t wait to return. Closed at 7pm on Sunday. Only one club seems to still be 24 hours. The biggest appeal of this place was being able to workout on any schedule. But even without 24 hour availability, closing at 7pm on a Sunday is too early.
