This is a wonderful fitness center.
But it's very, very sad to realize that this state is the most expensive, diesel here is $5, and this gym has such a terrible shower.
But in states where diesel is only $3.20 per gallon and these states are poor, the fitness center is excellent.

This gym closes at 7pm on the weekends which is a huge inconvenience. More often than not, nobody is behind the counter the last hour so nobody gets their massages in. How long are we supposed to wait for the staff person to get off his treadmill in order to let us in for our massage? I spent 15 minutes on the treadmill and while the phone rang and others dropped by and left, the counter remained empty. Are we supposed to schedule our workouts according this staff person when they decide to disappear? This is unprofessional and honestly, quite rude. Many of us do not wish to drive across town the Smokey Point location but this lack of courtesy is discouraging. This location is in desperate need of professionalism

Lost my skincare pouch there, try to call them they say they don’t have it or maybe they throw it away because they have to clean. it’s Victoria secret pouch and it’s clear you can see inside I have Tomford perfume and rhode skincare. After using the gym I took a quick shower, being mindful that they would be closing within 30 minutes.

Got out of the shower quickly, using the changing room to get dried off & dressed.

15 minutes before the gym closed the staff turned the LIGHTS OFF in the shower section of the locker room!

No warning!

Didn't flash the lights first, didn't say "anyone in here?" Nothing.

If they had looked, they would have seen that part of the locker room was being used!

I couldn't see inside the changing room - NOT COOL!

I couldn't find my clean clothes inside my duffle bag, it was too dark. Ended up having to put my already worn clothes back on.

The gym is amazing and clean. I do agree. i wish showers had trays for soap and shampoo as someone recently said. But i love how it has sections and privacy in different areas, not all one room. Tons of equipment almost never have to wait to work out. Cleaned all the time. One complaint one of the guys who works here seems to approach women working out and not men. I go here daily, and he never has tried to talk to me once, but I always see him talking to women who look a certain way. Even my wife felt hecked out by him multiple times. Hope he takes that same friendliness to all people in the gym, not just a few. Overall, I love this gym.

During my visit, I noticed there was no designated place to store soap or toiletries in the shower area, which made it inconvenient to use.

Additionally, I experienced an interaction with a staff member—who I believe may have been the manager—that felt dismissive. While I attempted to hold the door open as a courtesy, the response I received came across as unprofessional.

Lastly, as this is not my “home gym,” I was unable to access certain amenities such as the hydro massage beds. I only attend this location due to its proximity, though it’s not my preferred facility.

Update 6/2025 - This location no longer has soap in the showers, ass gaskets for the toilets, or sanitizer throughout the gym. They even took away the tootsie rolls…. How cheap can we get!! It’s completely unacceptable that corporate doesn’t set some better standards for their franchisees. This location still isn’t 24/7 either.

Update 8/52024 - I asked if we could change the news channel from MSNBC, which is a very left leaning propaganda pushing network (they lie constantly, and they’re extremely biased) to a different channel that’s more neutral, or at least add another news channel to one of the other TV’s. My reply was, “corporate controls the channels and they’re locked”. Hey PF… You’ve made your stance obvious. Just another reason to find another gym.

April 2024: Planet Fitness is supposed to be open 24/7… This location is NOT 24/7. This club advertises 24/5 on the door but it’s not even that anymore. They close 9PM on Friday, and 7PM on Saturday & Sunday. This club is open 24/4. It really bothers me that I have extra time Friday - Sunday during the evenings to exercise, but I can’t because my 24/7 club is closed. I should be getting a discount on my membership due to getting shortchanged on the operating hours! The new club in Lake Stevens is open 24/7, so it might be time to change my home club! I would encourage everyone to boycott and take your business elsewhere until they fix the hours and get in line with the PF standard.

Don’t come here if you want the staff to do anything about any problems you have. I caught a man taking a picture of by gf squatted down and the staff just didn’t believe me because they’re friends with the guy. He put a note on his account and told me about how great of a guy that dude was and how he goes to church so he couldn’t have done that. He also didn’t tell me that further action than a note could be taken until our second conversation about the issue because he obviously was trying to protect the guy. A wonderful home gym for me. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. People here aren't strangers. It's more like a family. Jason works nights and is so friendly, helpful and keeps the place clean, like how hes always keeping the showers clean. Dolce is always working hard through the day dusting and making sure it's tidy. John greets me at the door everytime without fail. And treyvon is the homie, ans would give the shirt off his back for me. Mike is a cool guy too. Overall a great gym, new clean equipment, and a great environment!

Have never had a single issue. When I had to cancel two years ago, it was easy. It was easy to sign back up, as they already had my info. The bathroom has stunk at times, however this has been due to other customers. Would be nice if some of the paper towel dispensers on the floor worked better and it does suck to have seen some machines I enjoyed over the years disappear. Although a lot of the new machines are really cool, enjoy that they keep track of reps.
A complaint would be that some of the stretching equipment went away, I liked it for my core stretching. Although I can personally find better ways to do that myself.

People complain about the hours, although with the app having exercises, I feel like this makes up for it. (Also I used to go late at night, and only ever saw three people. So it would be financially irresponsible.)

Anyways keep it up guys, so everything you can to keep it running smooth, and I’ll keep on coming back. 😎

Great gym but why is it closed at 7:00 pm on the weekends??? when every other planet fitness around is open 24 hours, this sucks and really should change so many ppl work on the weekends then want to go afterwords or have other things going on in the day that doesn’t allow them to get to the gym till later. Kind of disappointing to see that they took out the shower soaps, out of the showers. Wow, to save a couple bucks they're going to make people not have shower soap? That's kind of lame. Scam gym! Overcharged my auto pay $10.94 a month to $25.94 for months. Went in multiple times to address issue and they reversed my charge once, then recharged me $25.94 again and again. Tried to cancel twice in person but was denied both times for computer issues and improper cancelation protocols. Had to put a stop payment on my card today. Calling an attorney next week. Unfortunately, there are two things that are very disappointing about the Planet Fitness in Marysville. 1st they changed the hours and they close early on the weekends, dealt with it but then to have the worker scream out 15 minutes till closing and then three minutes later turn the lights off in the gym, at least let people work out till 7 o’clock when you close instead you’re trying to push people out early. The 2nd disappointment is we all have to deal with seeing all the political propaganda on our social media on a daily basis from both sides, so it would be nice when you went to the gym to not have to see political propaganda on news stations on the TVs in the gym while working out,. “Specially MSNBC omg the worst”

Unfortunately, I came to this location because I was going to have an appointment nearby and was going to kill some time coming in for red light therapy. They had to enter me into their system, which was perfectly fine. The guy was not exactly friendly or welcoming . He asked if I had eyewear protection which previous Times I’ve been I have not had to show proof of having . He asked if I would like to purchase some I told him I did not have any money on me as I only had keys and my phone and no cash so I guess I am unable to do that one He said OK and turned around and walked away, not professional and did not ask if I would like to charge my account or use another service. I more than likely will not be returning to this location. There was a lady sitting there more welcoming and friendly than the guy behind the counter no smile no hello just what do you need? It's a great location! They do have strategic ways to keep you locked into your plan and are not able to make adjustments on but only a few days of the month after billing, lol. It's blamed on "the system" lol. It's been difficult to get through a full routine, even during slow times, because others sit on their phones the whole time not actually using the units, or staring at others doing their routine and not focusing on their own. It's still a great place to get a healthy workout!

Marysville planet fitness will not fix their tv’s in front of the encumbent bikes. The sound does not sync with the tv’s. Such a shame, the people that work there say the owner ( manager) doesn’t even show up at the gym. Take some pride and correct the problems. I walked in the the Marysville facility,

I asked for a tour and was told to wait the two people behind the counter were quite young adults, and they procrastinated talking between each other about who was gonna have to do. the tour it was kind of awkward.

I waited for about five minutes and then they decided which one was going to give me the tour the young women ended having too give me the tour she gave me an incomplete tour of the gym, I was gonna sign up with her and then she said I could do it online gave me a website told me to make sure I request Marysville.

I came home and I still haven’t done signed up, if she had taken the time to direct me, with my phone and walked me through the sign up process I may be a member, but it didn’t seems to be the gyms process they give tours and send you home to sign up on line. I wasn’t impressed and I haven’t signed up but I have taken time to do a review.

I was impressed with the equipment and what the gym had to offer but I have yet to sign up and she wanted me to make sure that I chose Marysville as the primary, but she was clear the Marysville facility did not offer 24 hours service for any of the packages but other facilities did offer 24 hour service 7 days a week, so I will be sure to join a facility that does offer 24 hour service 7 days a week and not just selected days as my primary gym and I will use Marysville if I choose to join as a alternative.

I will join a gym this coming week, just need to find the right one for me.

Again the gym looked nice, I didn’t get a tour of the bathroom, or even know if they have an aerobic room.

The parking is okay, tight spots.

Both employees seemed friendly just not interested in giving a tour at the moment I walked in. They might enjoy the job but they did make me feel like I was imposing on their conversation when I walked in asking for a tour, they both reminded me of a deer with headlight. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Since Lake Stevens now has a PF, I was contemplating joining but before I went that far I thought I’d do a quick web search on all of the reviews on PF in Snohomish county. And as I expected countless remarks on filthy showers/restrooms, impossible to cancel memberships, understaffed (to clean looker rooms) and faulty equipment. I was a previous customer to the other Lake Stevens gym Team Fitness, and canceled my membership due to lack of cleanliness. I used to do my cardio first thing in the morning before work so showering was a must. On one occasion I stepped into the shower (never without flipflops) and there was a pair of underwear hanging from the shower head, so I went into the next shower where it looked like someone blew their bloody nose all over the shower wall, so I was forced to use the handy cap shower. So Planet Fitness you will not get my business, I guess you get what you get for $10 a month.

Staff was friendly and they have tons of workout machines and also free weights. Even though there were a lot of people there I didn't have to wait around for use of any equipment.

Real bad staff,unprofessional customer service, uneducated approach...they seems to make their own rules...one of them i saw training customer and claimed hes also the manager. He like to intimidate the customers, and i think he is not even qualified trainer...i told my crew to stop using this facility in marysville ..we are moving to the one next block up..

I really like going to this gym. It is clean, and the staff are friendly. The equipment is also in good shape, and I appreciate all the different workout rooms that provide different options for your workout.

Will not cancel my minor son's account who did not sign up with a parent permission form. They failed to check his age requirements. They are charging his account 2 times and won't cancel his membership even thought he has tried online and in person. Tonya if that is her name won't cancel his membership and has seen the multiple charges and refuses to return the fees in total of $163.21 in less then a month and a half.

I love this gym. It’s always clean, doesn’t smell like some other locations do, the staff are friendly and attentive! I appreciate you guys!

I only wish it was 24 hours like planet fitness is typically supposed to be, or at least open more hours on the weekends like from 5-10 instead of 7-7. This location got new management so apparently they have the right to change the hours, but I feel like it shouldn’t be labeled as planet fitness if it doesn’t have the same perks as planet fitness is supposed to come with, if that makes sense! People sign up expecting every location to be the same. It makes it hard to be able to go on the weekends which is a bummer, because the gym makes all the difference with my mental health and I’d go every day if I could! The Smokey point location is another option on the weekends for those who are willing to make the drive, they are open 24 hours! And soon Lake Stevens too once it opens. But other than that it’s a great gym and I appreciate that it’s affordable and accommodates people who don’t have the budget to spend on a $60 membership! Makes fitness possible for everyone ☺️

I really loved this gym and being able to work out late on Friday-Sunday but they changed the hours terribly. If they closed earlier on week days when people are sleeping normal schedules that would make sense to reduce hours, but the weekend is literally the time when people are most likely to work out so it just seems inconsiderate to the people paying for the gym to be open late.
I do love the layout of the gym though, and workers are friendly. I just really wish they would change their hours back to how they used to be or at least make them better for the weekends):
