Avoid this gym like the plague. Watch out for the shoe nazi (think his name is Dario?) …I’ve seen him kick people out for wearing slip on shoes… really?? With his behavior/demeanor, idk how he is still employed there. Staff in general are unhelpful and just stand around socializing. All around incompetence. So if you enjoy dealing with rude, unprofessional, terrible employees as well as fellow gym members that like to stake their claim on multiple equipment/machines so you can’t use it and don’t demonstrate common sense & decency in a shared, public space, then by all means come here! I don’t recommend this location. The gym staff are absolutely terrible and some members not much better - have experienced people try to claim 2-3 different equipment at the same time saying they’re using it. Personally prefer the lake forest park location. Feels like you’re less out in the open, more privacy, and at least there people don’t seem to hog the smith machine like they do here. You either have to come here super early or super late. I also agree with another reviewer that the overhead music is ridiculously loud to the point where you can barely hear what you’re listening to on your own headphones. I don’t want billboard hot 100 music forcibly blasting in my ears every time I work out.
Response to owner’s capacity meter reply: even when the crowd meter is at the lower end this has still been an issue (smith machine is often in use for long periods).

I unfortunately had to cancel my membership this evening due to one person on staff. They were rude, condescending, disheartening and not willing to resolve problems. That staff members name is Dario, he came up to me with an issue with my shoes (I had crocs on) and said they were open toed. I replied with “oh sorry I can go change my shoes “ but he was not willing to let me resolve or compromise and told me and my partner to leave the gym. He had a very rude tone with me and other patrons of this facility.
It’s sad to say but the way he presents himself at his job is unkempt and unprofessional.
I will never be returning to this gym let alone this company due to there so called judgment free zone.

I have been a PF Black Card Member for while now but after a recent interaction with the manager at this location, I am honestly reconsidering. I asked about a simple policy and instead of being professional, he was rude, dismissive, and condescending.

There was zero effort to listen or resolve the situation — just attitude and hostility. It’s really disheartening when the person who’s supposed to be leading the staff is the most unprofessional one there. I left feeling disrespected and frustrated.

Planet Fitness supposedly promotes a “judgement-free zone” but apparently that is not the case for their employees. I hope upper management takes this seriously as interactions like these drive away loyal customers..

I absolutely love this Planet Fitness! It makes me so happy every time I walk through the doors honestly, I could just sleep here if they let me. If you’re ever looking for a gym in Mill Creek, I 100% recommend Planet Fitness. I come here almost every single day, and it’s become one of my favorite places to spend time. I workout eat and make friends here at the big PF

The atmosphere is always positive and welcoming, and the staff are super friendly. Whether I’m lifting weights, eating or using the cardio machines and eating at the same time, or just relaxing after a workout and eat, I always leave feeling better than when I came in.

And let’s talk about the snacks they’re surprisingly good! There’s an awesome assortment of options, and I love grabbing a few things to munch on while I work out. Sometimes I’ll have six or seven protein bars while sipping on a Red Bull to keep my energy up. It might sound crazy, but it just adds to the experience for me.

My parents had a pretty disappointing experience at this Planet Fitness location. They asked to use the massage room and were told to wait a few minutes, so they patiently waited near the treadmills. When my mom eventually went in, there were three massage chairs available, yet my dad was still told to wait. A few minutes later, three young girls walked in who had not been waiting and were immediately allowed in.
When my dad asked about this, the staff member suddenly told him he could go to chair #2, even though earlier he had clearly told my dad to wait. Instead of handling the situation respectfully, the staff member gave my parents attitude.

I've been coming to Planet Fitness for years, and up until recently, it was a place I could count on to get a solid, no-nonsense workout in peace. But something has changed — and not for the better. The gym has started blasting music from overhead speakers in back areas so loudly that it’s impossible to hear my own music through noise-cancelling headphones. It's frustrating, distracting, and frankly, unnecessary.

Everyone has their own taste in music, and that's why we wear headphones. Forcing a playlist on every person in the gym — at nightclub volume — is incredibly tone-deaf. I come here to focus, to decompress, to escape the noise of the outside world, not to be assaulted by generic pop and thumping bass that I didn’t ask for.

This isn't a nightclub. It’s a fitness center. It takes away choice, comfort, and control from your members — and for what? To push some arbitrary playlist that clearly no one asked for?
If this is the new normal, Planet Fitness is going to start losing long-time, loyal members like me. I'm here to lift weights, not get into a battle of volume with the gym speakers. Bring back the quieter atmosphere. Music should be personal. Headphones exist for a reason — maybe it's time Planet Fitness starts using them too

I’ve been letting the front desk know for months now that the tanning bed in room 5 needs new lights. One person said “Oh we are getting new lights on Wednesday” I came back on Thursday and there wasn’t new lights. Another person said “when we close for maintenance the lights will be changed” I came back after maintenance and STILL NO NEW LIGHTS. The last person I talked to said “Oh there has to be a certain amount of lights out before the beds get new lights” Pretty sure we pay that yearly annual fee to keep the equipment working correctly. They do have another lay down bed but lights are also out in that bed, it’s dirty and disgusting.
There was another person that said he has been complaining for 5 months now and hasn’t seen any changes because “the owner is cheap”
I don’t know why it’s so hard to get new lights for a tanning bed and why someone has to keep letting the front desk know that the beds need maintenance. Isn’t that what the sign says in the room…. Hmmm interesting to say the least.

Had an employee go above and beyond for me I believe her name was Maddie. I locked my keys in my car and my phone was about to die, I called my family multiple times but it was 4am and they were not waking up I ended up needing to uber to a friends house and I was scared to get in an uber with a random man and a dead phone 😭 I asked her if they possibly had a charger and she looked all over and I told her it was okay and not to worry but she insisted to go out to her car and get me a charger and was so sweet. I’ve never had an employee anywhere go above and beyond like that.
They also just got new equipment and it’s much more organized! Everything is always clean.

Had a poor experience at the facility. My locker which had a lock on was broken and someone stole my cash. Reported the incident but no one reached out after that and the whole experience feels unsafe on safety grounds and probability of theft. I have been a member since leaving MUV when it became 24 Hour. Love the membership amenities that include massage chair access. Love the level of cleanliness.

I've only had one less than pleasant interaction with staff. One out of 10 is good. Not bad just obviously not interested in being of service. Maybe it was a bad day for him.

I've been a loyal customer for years. Never cancelled or paused my membership once. For the first time ever.. I tried to pause my membership days ahead of time, twice, due to a hospitalization and not being able to afford it for 1 month. They told me a manager wouldn't be working for days, and just charged my account an hour ago.

I also had a membership with LA fitness. They paused my account without issue. Over the phone.

This is a national corporation. Someone shouldn't have to jump through a ton of hoops to simply PAUSE their membership for one month... to no avail. It's unethical. And shows just how little effort this company puts into its customer interface.

Get a membership with LA fitness instead. It's less than $10 more. They have a sauna, a hot tub, and an Olympic sized pool. And they care about their loyal clients.

Good value for the price, however, many machines are OOO and the classes schedule doesn't accommodate for people with 9-5 jobs at all. I started with the highest-priced membership and didn't see any real advantage over the 10 dollar a month subscription, so I switched. My experience switching was positive, no pushback and pretty quick and easy.

Mill Creek is a smaller gym, but has enough equipment to cover needs. By virtue of capacity, it may appear busier on the app, and depending on the time, parking can be at a premium. The maintenance is really going downhill. The machines go in and out of service but many of the handles and seats and bolsters on the exercise/ weight equipment has been damaged or failing for months. Seems like they're always walking new employees through the building, but nobody seems to bother to fix anything. I'm a black card member and it really isn't worth it the way it used to be. They even got rid of the Tootsie rolls. I never really cared for them that much but it just goes to show how cheap they are being.

11/13/ 24 White and black mold has been on the womens room shower curtains for months. White bugs flying coming from the shower curtain the other night. The moldy shower curtains are hung on the towel holder outside the showers, so …that mold comes into contact with the towel holder and the wall and then transfers to anything touching it like our towels and other things people hang. So basically I’m hanging my towel on mold that came from the shower curtain…I know that towel holder is not cleaned the way the shower curtains are moldy. This showers are gross but I have no option with my needs.

Please stop spraying the good smelly chemical spray over the walls and into the dressing rooms across from the showers. We hang our clothes and towels in there and set things on the benches…the spray gets on the walls, the clothes hangers, the bench…the floor…no one cleans those after the spray. It’s chemicals contaminating my clothing.

Shower soap sills and walls look like they are not scrubbed but rather a spray and rinse.

They say you're only as good as your weakest link. The weakest link: showers in the ladies room that were cold enough to give me goosebumps as I used it.
Yes, I know sometimes you have to wait a bit before shower gets hot but that's not the issue at hand. I waited 10 min and the temp never got warmer. And it was like that for 3-4 times I have been at this location . A shower that leaves me colder than when I started is not acceptable. I end up needing to drive further to other locations because of this.

Came in before heading back out on the road to workout and reset after some life happening.

I have experienced the utmost respect from walking in to asking questions the experience from the staff is something I was not expecting.

I went throughout the few days while there so I was able to experience all of the staff from Morning to Morning shift as this Planet Fitness is opened 24 hours minus major Holidays.

This facility also meets cleanliness at its highest level.

There were however quite a few pieces of equipment that are broken and needing repair. I have been using this gym for 4 days and have not seen any repairs happen as of yet.

The gym is a lot larger than expected from the outside view.

There are rows upon rows of cardio equipment, weight machines, free weights, and more.

The locker room was clean. Down sides of the locker room were one broken shower and they do not refill the soap dispenser often as I came in last night then this morning and it was still empty.

Overall the experience was great and I felt welcomed!
The reason for the 4 is due to the amount of machines down as well as the soap not being filled in a timely fashion.

This Planet Fitness is LGBTQIA+ friendly,

This facility is newer so it's fairly well maintained. Sanitation stations for wiping down equipment are out of paper towels more often then I'd like. There are also a fair amount of gym bro groups that hover over weight lifting equipment in their skin tight shirts flapping their gums instead of lifting weights. Causes unnecessary wait times if you're trying to get a work out in under an hour. Staff is friendly.

This gym is joke now! Been coming here for years and the girl behind the desk (Kiera) says I can’t come here any more since I have classic membership which I’ve had for years. Probably only had the black membership for a few months then didn’t need it anymore.

I said I’ve been coming to this gym for years when my home gym is Lake Stevens. Once in a while down in Mill Creek. I do not frequent the Mill Creek location often anymore.

Then I asked “so you’re not going to let me work out?” Then she says no and begins to literally tell me I’m RUDE. That’s rich coming from someone who’s rude to their members first. This is ridiculous coming from your employee who I’ve never seen before but have been working out at this gym for years.

So she was says “that’s policy!” When I’ve been working out at this gym for years with no problems except when Kiera now is implementing “policy”. And she supposedly said she was going to break this policy to let me workout until she calls me RUDE. So yea, what’s your policy at this location then???

So I’m going to be calling corporate to voice my issue and hopefully this gets to the franchise owner then manager of this Planet Fitness.

If Kiera is so quick to call your Planet Fitness members RUDE, I wonder how many other members she’s says this to or worse.

If you’re trying to find a gym, don’t get a membership here. There’s plenty of other gyms with employees that are not RUDE and actually have some sense of etiquette on how to treat their members.

I don't normally work out, but I went here just a couple of days ago, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I'm a person who likes to go on walks, and focus on a lot more cardio than anything, and so knowing that they had loads of treadmills, that anybody could use it anytime, was really a benefit to me. Gym is still closed for scheduled maintenance despite announcement of 'tentative' reopening on Friday 5/31/24. Called twice to get confirmation but no one answered. Visited the gym on Saturday 6/01/24 morning with no luck. still no information when it will be opened.

Omg! This mill creek location got people living here! (Black card spa) Like each massage machine is occupied and many are broken. The only 2 machines that might work, have someone addicted to their phone on them! (Black card spa)
Unfortunately this location is so busy cause of the everett and lake city locations closing so early. Luckily this isn’t the only gym I am a member of.

In my opinion, I’ve always had a fantastic experience. The gym is clean. The staff is always friendly. Very helpful and happy to answer any of my questions about anything. I feel comfortable talking to the staff about equipment if I am unsure of something. The BEST thing is the free red light therapy with the black card membership. I use to be part of LA fitness and that was horrible. They charge too much. They basically fat shame people into joining and certainly don’t treat you very good. Especially if you look a certain way that they don’t find aesthetically pleasing. LA Fitness could surely take some pointers from you at PF!!! I LOVE PLANET FITNESS!!!

Facilities are always clean and staff is nice although the late night staff can sometimes be a little grumpy but I get it there bored. Love all the machines they have to offer and the tanning; can't get a better deal and they have red light too so so many different beds to chose from. Can go to any of the facilities and most are 24 hours and can bring guests it's a win win. Membership costs is very low for all that they offer.

This gym becomes disgusting. Over crowded, and see the state of the bathroom this afternoon!

On top of that, my wallet was stolen from the lockers, the manager and staff cared less about it, they said to keep my stuff on me all the time, instead of investing the issue, the mentioned this has happened many times already!

Terrible customer service. " No commitment", yeah right. It's like signing your life away to a life long commitment in an abusive relationship. They charged me 15 dollar late fees, EVERY MONTH. For having a credit card as the primary payment. I was offered a refund only if I stayed with planet fitness and added a checking account to the membership. INSANE. The only way to get my money back is to be forced to pay $27 dollars a month for a measly gym with bad equipment. Trying to cancel the membership feels like I'm getting a 5th divorce. Mailing in a letter, begging them to cancel the membership for me is absurd. There needs to be an easier way to cancel your membership. Can't even call to cancel!

I generally expect better from a Planet Fitness. The treadmill I used had a loose belt, the locker rooms were disgusting, and the shower only had hot water for about 15 seconds.

The locker rooms in particular are a major issue. In the men's locker room, the floor is significantly water damaged, causing it to bubble and become an uneven surface, creating a tripping hazard. I could tell that the locker room had not been cleaned all day. That is something that needs to be done every two hours. I worked at a pool, gym, and tennis club for six years, and I never allowed my locker rooms to get like that. Management needs to step up, hire the people they need to maintain the club, or come in and do it themselves.

Getting tired of lots of equipment being broken for weeks/months. I love PF and the staff at this location are great, but this is the busiest PF in Washington (was told this by a staff member) and the least useable equipment. Combine that, and you've got a pretty bad gym.
I'll update this to 5 stars if management ever gets their act together, but judging by the reviews and what I've heard from the staff, the complaints fall on deaf ears.

I’ve been a member since July 2023, this is my main gym location because it’s close to where I live. But it’s sad everything is aaalways out of order. They do not promptly fix anything. Right now all the stair steppers are broken besides one. I bet it’ll be a couple months to fix them. That’s about how long it took them to fix hip abduc /adduc machines.also I use to shower here post workout but the showers are unsanitary.

I would love to offer more stars but can’t since the equipment is never maintained and in a row of 7 stairmasters there is only 1 working. This didn’t happen overnight. It’s been over a year of not having functional equipment. The place is clean, the people are nice, but the owner does not care to replace or repair. I brought it to the attention of the front staff how unsafe the stairs were- multiple steps having cracks and most machines making sounds they shouldn’t be making. They said there is not much they can do and the recommended I file a complain on their website directly. That was a while ago when it was 3 machines down. Now it’s 6.

PNW is known for having avid hikers and trail runners. We host multiple events throughout the year to fundraiser for charities. I have been working towards training for my next climbing fundraising and in the last 2.5 weeks I’ve had zero luck with having an open machine to use. It’s not busy when I go, but all it takes is one person and my opportunity is lost.

If they can get this under control, they’d earn more stars for sure, but as of right now, they only get 2.

Person we were working with was polite and professional.
Gym itself seems pretty good. Equipment looked to be in good condition and there was a lot of available machines. Not much in the way of free weights, but that is the expectation for the company. I believe an employee told me it catered to the "beginner" person working out and the cardio group.

I’ve been going to this gym since 2019 and it’s not my favorite, but it gets the job done. It’s a great deal and you get a lot for the price. There’s a nice variety of equipment and I can pretty much use whatever I need to without having to wait much. The staff is really friendly and welcoming.

What would make my experience better is cleanliness and equipment maintenance. There’s lots of broken equipment and it can go weeks or months without attention. The stair masters are usually broken leaving only 1-2 functioning if you’re lucky.
It can get crowded easily even early in the morning and it can be hard to get equipment. I also wish they had more free weights. I would gladly pay more money for a better experience.

The afternoon is pretty busy, I prefer to go at night to use any of the equipment I want. The staff is always friendly, and the place is always clean. They don't have all the equipment I'd wanna use, but it's definitely a great gym for beginners.

It’s open 24/7! My odd schedule can make it difficult to get to a gym. The people who work there are very helpful and considerate. The machines are plentiful and kept clean and in good working order. There’s a good positive attitude amongst everyone and provides a safe environment. It’s got an overall great vibe!

Genuinely Planet Fitness Mill Creek has to be one of thee best Planet Fitness fitness centers in Washington. With excellent staff service, more than adequate equipment, clean locker rooms, presentable bathing areas, amazing body massage machines and skin tanning stations. Honestly this gym is 6/5 star rating.
