I love Planet Fitness and the staff is great. I like using the Circuit Training area. Often, people will come into the Circuit training area and sit on a machine texting past the time and mess up the rotation for those of us who are following the program. When I get strong enough I will carry these people out of the area and put them on the appropriate machine where they can sit and text. Thanks Planet Fitness!

After many years as members of a large health club we realized that we were utilizing only a small part of the facility; coincidentally, the part that Planet Fitness provides. The cost savings were huge. There are pro’s and con’s of PF. Some of the pro’s, beyond cost savings, are that it never seems very crowded, the staff are usually friendly and helpful, the place appears very clean and orderly, and there is a huge abundance of cardio machines, i.e. treadmills, ellipticals, stair steppers, and air gliders. There are a lot of con’s, none of which prevent us from really liking this place. The con’s are that the over abundance of cardio machines is at the expense of other weight machines. There are not enough ab, arm, leg, etc. machines. It’s common to have many people waiting to use a popular machine of which there is only one. There are two huge ceiling fans running 24/7, which are great in the summer, but very chilly at other times. The towels available to clean the machines after use are of the quality you might find in an elementary school restroom and pretty annoying! All in all, we like the place and will probably stay for years.

However, it's really frustrating to pay for the black card and always have equipment "out of service". Specifically the stair-steppers!! There are only 4 stair steppers, which is already very limiting. Of the 4, they all rotate being out of order and there's really only 3. I've noticed that all but 1 have a broken step. Today I went to the gym and there is only 1 functioning stair stepper!

I've pointed this out to the staff months ago that having only 4 stair steppers (especially when 1 is always unusable) sucks and there are too many other cardio machines people don't use. They could easily swap out a couple of treadmills or ellipticals for a few more stair steppers.

Do not join this gym. It’s basically a scam!!!

The equipment is a joke. Machines are constantly broken, and what they do have is mostly just cables. There are no real weights — no barbells, no squat racks, no proper lifting frames. If you care about weight training, this place will completely waste your time. On top of that, people sit on the machines for ages just texting, so you can’t even use the little equipment that’s available.

Summers are even worse. They give three months of free access to all high school kids, and the gym turns into a chaotic zoo. I couldn’t train at all and had to pay for another gym just to get through the summer.

But the biggest problem is their shady membership practices. Canceling is almost impossible. My friend tried to cancel and was charged the annual fee not once, not twice, but three separate times. She spent a month calling, visiting, and arguing with the manager. Hours wasted, nothing resolved. To this day, she is still waiting for a refund of the money they illegally overcharged. This is not just bad service — it’s fraud.

If you are serious about fitness and don’t want to throw away your money and sanity, avoid this gym at all costs.

I went in here to workout after my shift and I scan my card and proceed to the locker room like normal. Then the clerk RUNS after me and says I’m not aloud to workout because I don’t have a membership. I proceed to tell him that I pay for a membership and show him my app and that I have been coming into this gym for days. He then tells me “well I’ve never seen you here, so nobody should’ve let you in” I didn’t feel like arguing, so I just left. Definitely will be switching gyms…

I love Planet Fitness! I have the Black Card membership, which allows me to enjoy tanning, Red Light Therapy, and the HydroMassage. The gym is clean, and I feel welcome every time. The easy check-in makes starting workouts fast and simple. I love all the cleaning stations around the gym, and everyone seems to be courteous enough to follow the sanitization process.

Shower Review: sooooo this one has a showers across the hall from the changing room design. And I do mean changing room singular because there is only one. For 4 showers. The accessibility shower was also the same size as the non-accessible showers just with a seat necessitating a wheelchair user to be nude in the hall or do some shenanigans to remove their towel. Either way, it was not as nice as most other planet fitnesses. But the water did get hot quickly and the “shelf” was spacious.

I have been working out consistently for about 2 years now afternoon and the morning, the machines are great for the most part, it’s really dusty and it has the dust smell in some parts of the gym. The bathrooms are clean but the locker room is always dirty, the smith machines are kinda stiff they need fixed, machines are always broken and they take so long to fix them, the paper towel towers are always empty after like 6pm-7pm the staff walk around with earbuds which is disrespectful and it’s hard to ask questions and stuff when they are just listening to music. The members are very respectful from the few I have had conversations with. They have the summer pass which makes so many teenagers get in huge groups and they use the machines for a long period of time. I shouldn’t pay so much for kids to come in and use all the machines, after the manager leaves I noticed most of the staff go on there phone. Josh in the morning was super helpful showed me how to do stuff and cared to help people, Belle is very disrespectful she is the only one that doesn’t say have a goodnight or greet me like everyone else. Belle is also on her phone a lot or she is drawing stuff on the job which is unprofessional. Belle I haven’t really seen her clean much. The spray bottles are empty in the afternoon for a couple of hours, they don’t tighten enough so they come undone a lot. The trainer is super helpful and he respects people and he has a heart for the gym, the staff guy with the raider shirt in the morning is super friendly he cleans, takes out the trash, IVE EVEN NOTICED HIM CLEANING THE BATHROOM 100% complete makes it smell good all the time. I JUST HAD TO STOP GOING IT WASNT A ENVIRONMENT YOU WANT TO STAY AT FOR LONG ITS LIKE A PLACE TO GET START FOR THE FIRST 3-6 months after that leave.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The environment is judge free and comfortable to be in. The machines are in good working order and relatively clean, I would suggest because most of the Patrons clean them after it's use.(as it should be). The floors, on the other hand, (in all the workout areas, and in the Tanning/massage rooms) are typically dusty around the machines themselves. I have seen the employees dusting around the walls and running the floor cleaner, so the main parts of the floor stay pretty clean. The 2 back corner workout areas (pf360 & the 30-minute workout) have NO fans for air circulation, so you can overheat fast. I really do enjoy this place, but I really would love to see it a bit cleaner. 5/5 stars for the judge free environment, 4/5 for cleanliness, 3/5 for lack of ventilation.

Totally disappointed in the total body enhancement tonight and have never had this issue going to the other ones in Pasco or Kennewick,but EVERY TIME I tried going in am error code would pop up and after an hour of trying to use it I finally left!!! They need to have someone come and look at this because this should not be happening!! With my PF black card, I have access to a few additional amenities. I use the hydro massage beds and massage chairs whenever I have a moment I can swing by to relax. Using my PF black card, I get to bring a guest free every visit. My hubby and I use this to work out together while only purchasing 1 membership. There's a good variety of equipment and machines. During peak hours, it's sometimes a wait for the machine you'd like.

I love this gym! They truly are a judgment free zone. They are so welcoming and helpful. I also have a service dog. We usually walk on a track so she can get a workout too. But when we can’t we come here. The staff and most of the other members are very kind, understanding and respectful of my dog. Very clean and the equipment is new + in good shape, bathroom areas especially are well taken care of. Covid policies were the main reason for not having a great time, masks and HIIT cardio don't mix. Also if you are looking for any type of free-weights, not a great choice. Need to return to 24 hour operations like when I signed up. No reason not to be open 24 hours. Does not open early enough. I now pay for a membership I cannot use. I was told they would be returning to 24 hours once mandates were lifted. Mandates have been lifted for 2 months now, but no change in hours.

Great gym! Staff keeps it clean everywhere and the members do a good job as well. My only nit would be younger users sitting on equipment while on their cell phones. I understand people rest in between sets but this is not what is happening. They other day I used different machines and after a half hour of waiting I finally left. Same girl on a machine for 30 minutes only using her phone. I tried at one point to "work In", she didn't know what that meant so I explained it to her. She did one rep and then snapped at me, "I'm using it see!" Other than the lack of gym courtesy from people like her I seriously have no complaints with PF.

UPDATE 10/20/2021 -
Due to this being a bit away from my house and place of employment, I could not find a good time to fit it into mt schedule, therefore I needed to cancel.

I signed on during a special with no year long committments or anything so all that it stated was required was a written notification either hand delivered or mailed.

I sent this in mid September fully expecting to still pay for September due to the timing. However, I was also then still charged for October knowing full well I sent the notice more than a month previously.

I called and spoke with an employee who said she found my notice and would get my account cancelled and refund my payment that had just tried to pull that day.

Waited a couple days, nothing has been done.

I call again, ask for manager, explain everything up to now. She states no notice was ever received and no one can refund someone except her and she's not going to.

If the employee lied to me, HOW IS THAT MY PROBLEM??? So now I have a company continuing to charge me and don't know if I will ever get them to stop.

One of the best PF I've been to. Really clean all the employees are going around cleaning and disinfecting. Pf employee Simon had extremely good customer service and was very friendly he needs a raise. All the machines are newer and work great. Couldnt ask for more out of a gym.

Slightly disappointed. I started going to this gym week one of it being open (weeks before the official opening). Sure, it had a rocky start with the infrastructure not quite being finished yet and some of the machines not installed totally correctly, but I have been happy with other Planet Fitnesses so I thought I'd give it a chance. For a couple of months, everything seemed to be going alright. Lately though, it seems like this is no longer the case. The lockers are becoming increasingly dirty, soap dispensers are out frequently, dust is all over the place, and it seems like this is the newest "bro gym" in town. I mean, there were people doing personal training with boxing gear, calling each other bro and nearly stepping on people using the yoga mats. People are frequently carrying bags around and laying them on the floor, the space is tight enough as is. The staff doesn't seem to care or even say hi or bye anymore. Not sure how much more stereotypically against the Planet Fitness brand this place could get. I'll keep using the gym for now, but I sincerely hope things turn around soon.

Such a nice gym- super clean, all the machines one could want, and the staff go above and beyond. Last time I was in there was an awful woman berating the girl at the counter, and she remained so polite and professional! I would’ve told that lady where she could stick her attitude but they were still so kind to her. I’ll recommend this location to anyone looking for a new place to work out.
