I understand that saving money is important, but the comfort of your clients is more important. If you want to shower after a workout, you need to turn on two showers at the same time. Otherwise, the hot water from the boiler won't heat up, probably due to pressure. One shower stall won't even start producing hot water.🥶 This isn't economical for fitness.

The enhancement machine has been down for several weeks, leaving me driving up north to the other location. After visiting the other location I see that the North facility is much nicer, with better equipment. Stopped into the valley to ask if when this repair is done the lights and shake will be as good as up North?! This is when I learned there is still no date for any repair. Is eye wear recommended? Never was told to cover the eyes, but up north their machine actually has voice and tells you to wear eyewear! No one has shared this info over the last year, with me! Thinking it’s time to switch gyms, the enhancement machine was the only thing planet fitness offered that made me not choose another gym.

100 degrees! Sweaty people! Heat/sweat = bacteria and unclean/ unhealthy conditions. Yuk ! super hot and uncomfortable! Other than running the heat year around.., it is a great gym . Please turn down the thermostat.

Update : 6 months later. It’s May. 80 degrees outside and heat is still blasting in the gym. Extremely hot in the mornings ! No idea why the furnace is running? I have talked to front desk and have tried to talk to management .The front desk doesn’t even know who their manager is ? They said someone from Texas came in a year ago and set the thermostat and nothing they can do. Basically said deal with it. I brought up that the gym is a petri dish of bacteria with all the heat and sweat . Maybe a phone call to the CDC would help?

This isn't my home gym. Although I give Valley a better score. It's very important to post Covid that we keep the lights on. Many businesses are still reaping on fact that they are at a loss. Statistics will show many Idaho plates in Valley Gym. I'd like to close and make Vally gym my home gym. It's not fair that CDA reaps when their hours of operation aren't supporting.

Truck driver here so parking is #1 to start, can’t park in this lot, I parked next door at tractor supply and walked so all good. Then shower is next and the water wouldn’t get past cold, apparently seeing all the other shower reviews this is an ongoing issue they don’t fix. Now it’s time to workout and other issues stated months ago had been an issue for months at that time like the broken smith machine not fixed… I guess they like things broken around here, glad I don’t live near here and hopefully I don’t have to come back to this one

there are 4 smith machines here and one of them has been broken for over a year. it’s the only machine that is almost always in use, no matter what time of the day you go, no matter which day you go. the gym is full of about 1,000,000,000 bikes that are functioning perfectly and almost never being used by anyone. i’m not sure why it’s set up like this. anyway, the employees here are extremely nice and helpful! this review doesn’t reflect them at all, i’d rate them all five stars. the net worth of planet fitness is literally $9,500,000,000, i’m not sure why they can’t add more smith machines here. i’ll probably cancel soon just bec this is too stupid of a problem to not solve immediately.

After being a member for a year they changed the entire gym layout overnight. They removed the 30 minute workout room that was literally advertised in their app! They crammed machines in to the space to the point you can’t hardly walk. We cancelled two black card memberships and no one even tried to ask why we’re leaving. Truly do not recommend to anyone. So disappointing, used to be a decent place.

Overall, PF is awesome. But here, some of the staff is rude. And they have people vacuming lately during peak hours. The long cord is a major trip and fall hazard for seniors but when I mentioned that to person vacumning she ignored me. I have a leg injury and this is of great concern to me. And a lawsuit in the making for owners.

Clean and gym is suitable for my needs. I expressed my interest in they offering more diverse classes such as yoga. The customer service rep at this location said to me "he wasn't teaching yoga". I dont know what that had to do with anything but it IS nice to know what a progressive attitude that this gym at this particular location has....yoga studios are everywhere now so this isn't a new concept... I would just really like to see Planet Fitness offering something more than just strength training classes for once. Not all of us are wanting to come to the gym to get ripped. Some of us go for mere weightloss, and just to feel good. For such a Judgement free zone, there certainly does seem to be a "get buff" narrative only being pushed here.

They charged me an extra $68. I asked why several times, but no one could explain to me, and the money was not returned either.
It may be a great place, but I hate it when the gym steals my money.
If you plan to come here, I advise you to keep an eye on when and how much money they take from your card.

if i could leave ZERO stars i would! Went in with my senior parents to try out this gym. my parents were interested in getting the black card and the only employee there didn’t want to give them a tour and didn’t want to let them try out the massage chairs. they supposably are a judgement free zone but it doesn’t look like it. you shouldn’t discriminate anyone just because of their age. this is so ridiculous! they didn’t care about us wanting to register. they just lost 3 sign ups i can only imagine how many more they lose each day. so disappointing.

I was in town and hit up PF in Spokane Valley. I was warmly greeted as I entered. I was only coming in to use the hydro massage and shower after a long drive. I love that, as a Black Card member, I was able to have unlimited use of the hydro and massage chairs. I didn't wven bother with the chairs the first night. The evening guys that were there were really chill and helpful, and one evwn played his guitar on occaision to break up the monotony.
The tables and the showers were clean, as was the entire club. The showers were a beilliant surprise. They were clean, and 3 of the 4 didn't even have a strand of hair in the drain! The one that did was obviously a result of a very recent ahower and had very little. The shower was hot (or as warm as you wanted), and it felt amazing after being on the road for a couple of days in the heat.
The second visit was just as pleasant as the first. Different staff, for the most part, and yet the same friendly, welcoming, and professional attitudes. One of the best experiences at a PF I've had.

Not a bad club, but it is really aggravating to me that I've been here 3 times, at different times and day, busy and not busy. The showers are always cold! And whoever cleans the locker rooms doesn't do their job, same piece of lint / cotton on the floor as from a week ago. Huge ball of hair in the corner I picked up myself, it was so disgusting. Get more than one 1950's water heater for 4 showers, and have your guys do better house cleaning.
*** UPDATE : i stopped at the CDA club before work this week, and wow! Its amazing to have showers that are hot. And that club is probably twice as busy as the one here. Please guys, fix your showers.

Love this gym! I've been a member for a few years now and go 3-5 times a week. It is incredibly clean and well taken care of, staff is so friendly and always greet and say goodbye (even when my headphones are on), and machines are maintained well so they are rarely out of service. The times I go it is never very busy and I haven't had any issues finding parking or a machine to use. Other members are quiet and respectful. I use the locker room most days and it floods a bit by the showers but they are really good at keeping everything clean in there like wiping down the insides of the lockers and sinks. Price is super affordable and they have *the best* massage chairs so it's definitely worth the $25 for the more expensive membership. I utilize the free trainer there frequently and he is really passionate about the gym and is so patient and supportive of my goals, he's a super nice guy. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to this gym for about 6 months, I’m a bartender with a busy schedule so I’ve come nearly all hours except between 3am-7am and all has been well other than the machine handles and seats not being clean. I have seen employees dust and ask people move so they can wash the mirrors but I’ve never seen an employee wash where people actually touch. The assisted dip machine has very disturbing “goo” stuck on the handle for months, I tried washing it off but almost vomited when I touched it. I am not trained in biohazards and don’t carry PPE on me. and I don’t believe it should be solely the customers responsibility to clean the machines, ive made multiple employees aware of the potential biohazard and its the same if not worse. I hate to leave a review but I’ve tried resolving in the store with no luck. I for real love that the employees are allowed to sit and be on their phones if there’s nothing to do, but when machines are routinely dirty it makes me disappointed

Went in to Tan today and asked if I could have a few extra minutes to sanitize and the two men actually went back and forth on their info! One says it’s NOT allowed while the other asked “ Since when” and the other guy says it’s always been a rule! I have been coming here for months now and NEVER had this issue! I stated the beds are NEVER cleaned and he said he always does.., ok then why are they so dirty! If this is the case you should be in after EVERY person sanitizing due to then your liable if they get MRA or STAPH or god knows what else! So disappointing think I’ll start looking into a better Gym!

Poor gym culture, staff isn't friendly or helpful, make you feel dumb for asking how to check into massage chairs, tanning etc. They would rather play on their phones or stand behind the counter playing on the computers acting busy than checking on the gym.
Also, I thought this gym had a modesty dress code policy. Clearly a bunch of guys and women walking around in attire that doesn't fit planet fitness purposed culture. It's clear they don't live up to their expectations or promises to members.

The tanning rooms are pretty dirty and don't seem to ever get cleaned by the employees nor do they do a daily or weekly cleaning at all. The floors are always dirty, the walls are nasty, they have tanning lotion all over and the beds or booths are gross as well. You can clearly see they don't touch them, which is kind of concerning.

I like the location though the staff can use some customer service training. They don't greet you upon arrival or departure. A staff member came over when I went with a friend telling us we were dropping weights. We weren't lifting heavy at all, nor was anyone around us dropping weights. I could have gotten over being told not to drop weights, but the staff member started off rude. Overall, I enjoy coming here to get a workout.

The facility itself is clean, and some of the staff are friendly. My primary reason for the rating is 2 things. Most importantly, a lot of the equipment needs work and they don’t seem to want to fix it. It’s not uncommon for a machine to be down for weeks at a time. Recently I went in and a machine failed on me mid lift. I reported it to the front desk and before the kid could put a sign on the machine, someone who I assume was the manager came and told him there was nothing wrong with the machine, don’t put the sign up. It failed on me mid lift… it’s broken… Fix your equipment before someone gets hurt. Immediately cancelled our memberships. Must be common, because nobody even bothered to ask why. I’ll go somewhere that invests in their equipment and values the safety of their patrons.

Very friendly and helpful people working here. They are patient with me and don't even know I have mental disabilities. They just patiently answer my questions and help me feel calm.

A great place to work out. State of art equipment and they always keep everything clean. They even have tanning beds! Their tanning beds are actually good for your skin, something I'd never heard of before but their great. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are fair. If your looking for a new gym give planet fitness a try.

Planet fitness is supposed to take $25 a month from my account twice they overdraft my account trying to take $40 they're not authorized to take more than 25 they should have contacted me if they needed separate funds for something random ...$30 every time they try to take $40 because my bank charges me I canceled my membership because they destroyed my account history. I had a clean record at my bank.

no one cleans off or wipes down their equipment at all. The amount of men I saw leaving a machine DRENCHED in sweat was absolutely disgusting. Especially when they were right next to a sign that says to wipe off the machines you use. I get that we aren’t super heavy with the pandemic but that’s so disgusting when someone just sweats and leaves.

Never have any diet or zero drinks. All the other ones have it. I don't know who would drink the normal ones while at the gym. Plus the leg machine is always broken. I'm just going to switch my club to the north side.

Why can this Planet Fitness not allow members to cancel online or over the phone! I have gone in and canceled only to continue to be charged! I call to get it straightened out and am told I still have to go back in to cancel AGAIN! This place is so outdated! I am switching to Spokane Fitness.

Hey. Have you seen dodgeball. This place is like globogym but at the end when Joe got it and it became cool. So that's cool. I work out there to become less of me because I've become a lot more. But now not so much. Go there. Get them gains.
