I was a member for 5 months and recently cancelled my membership. I booked classes using their pure barre app. For my last few classes, apparently there was a glitch in the app that will let people book classes beyond their membership cancellation date (Only 3-4 days past the membership cancellation date with the class credits that are ALREADY paid for). When I went in to the class as I pre-booked it days ago, drove 15 minutes to get to the class and did my warm up for 10 minutes before class begins, then the instructor walks in to tell me that app booked me in but I am not supposed to be in class. I either have to pay a drop in fee of 38$ or extend my membership. The decent thing to do here by the management is to honor and value my time and let me in the class and cancel the future classes as its THEIR APP THAT WAS glitchy. Whether you control the app or corporate, when you start a franchise, it's your responsibility to own up all its faults. absolute WASTE of my time on a Thursday no less. Absolutely ruined my 5 months of not-so-bad experience here.

The Mill Creek Pure Barre is absolutely wonderful. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, they always have positive attitudes and it is very motivating. The atmosphere is comforting and for me a small break from the world. I genuinely appreciate the support from the instructors, helping all of the members with corrections and guidance on modifications. As someone who has multiple past injuries, they are beyond helpful with suggesting what I can or should do instead. Truly wonderful team. I love challenges and surprise rewards from socks to drink tumblers for completing them. My goal is to sign every barre on the wall so here’s to completing that goal!

I had a terrible experience with the management of this location. I went to the free class and was essentially coerced into signing up for a 3 month membership after I told Mindy and the front desk attendant I didn’t feel like I could commit to 3 months due to school obligations. They said things that made me feel bad about myself and like I needed to sign up. Mindy verbally told me that cancellation window was 14 days and did not provide me with a copy of the contact and I had no way of accessing it. I fulfilled my 3 month obligation and cancelled within the 14 days before the next payment date only to be told that the cancellation notice was 30 days and I would need to pay for the month. This issue escalated to the owner who apologized for her employee’s mistake but said she was unable to waive the fee and I would still need to pay. I told the owner I would review my options and get back to her and I was constantly called and emailed asking for payment and it was absolutely ridiculous. I completely understand my own role in this but the way management treated me was absolutely wild. No sense of customer service. Great workout but terrible management team.

Been going to Pure Barre for a few months now and boy its a great workout but tough. The variety of classes available are great for switching things up and being able to give your body a break while still getting a workout in. From cardio to strength training to recovery, its always a surprise what your body is capable of and how strong you realize youre getting as you take more classes. These classes are no joke and the instructors take care of you to make sure your form is correct and you dont injure yourself.
The studio is super clean and staff is very friendly. The workouts are great and never the same. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Pure Barre Mill Creek for 7 weeks now and have already completed 39 classes—that’s how much I enjoy it! The workouts are full-body and really help with strength and toning. What makes this studio stand out are the amazing instructors—they’re friendly, encouraging, and bring great energy to every class.

A special shoutout to Mindy, the first instructor I met. Even though most attendees are women, she made me feel completely welcome and encouraged me to give it a try. I’m so glad I did.

If you're looking for a supportive and challenging fitness experience, I highly recommend it!

Quite disappointed that the google map makes you go in circles.. the address was not updated as uploaded the dot is where the class happens and the address is listed in the opposite end. I made it to the trail class 2 mins late and was not taken as I didn't have a waiver which I booked the appointment 3-4 days before and never got a call or email asking for a waiver. If this was a deal breaker that should have been uploaded as part of the booking application. They had a different number that didn't even belong to me and no one ever reached out also.. in short I was not allowed in and wasted my time.

I treated myself to a Pure Barre membership on January 14th. All I can say is how much I love these classes and the women who teach them! Nicole's Align classes are amazing, she kicks my ass on the regular. Mindy's Define classes will make you find the muscles you forgot about (her energy will lift anyone out of a bad mood) and Erin's Classic classes are invigorating and will leave you feeling stronger and accomplished. I'm only a little over 40 days in and have already lost 2½ inches in my waist! I was shook when I took the measurement, but when I considered the amount of crunches and situps I've done in the last month, it makes sense. If you're pondering putting yourself first, I highly recommend becoming a member at Pure Barre Millcreek. It really is a special group of women who have built and are continuing to build a community of happier, healthier and more confident people. Just sayin. 😉

Absolutely love Pure Barre! I was so excited to see the studio open in my neighborhood and have been going to classes for almost 5 months now. The results speak for themselves, I’m in the best shape of my life and got my former ballerina body back in my 40’s! Never thought it would happen and that I would actually look forward to going several days a week because they make it so fun. The format changes often and the selection of classes is great. There is something for everyone at Pure Barre regardless of your age or how in shape or out of shape you are. Come join I promise you won’t regret it or the fast results you see within weeks.

Great new location- easily accessible, and the instructors have good energy who also give solid support (e.g., posture-correction to aid in proper execution of exercise for muscles and joints) during your workout experience

This review is for both the PB Mill Creek/Lynnwood studios (since I go to both). I was super excited that both studios are under new management, Katie Wallis! I was introduced to Katie when I took my very first class at the PB Bellevue Studio and attended subsequent Kirkland Studio outdoor events. She knows what she is doing and I was so confident in becoming a Founding Member under her ownership. And I am soooo glad I did!

As far as PB Mill Creek/Lynnwood, the 4 words that best describe the studios are (1) community, (2) variety, (3) strength (4) and encouragement. I was looking for an in-person workout community and I found just that! PB itself provides a dynamic way to target various muscle groups and to fatigue them to ensure you grow in strength while toning your body, especially that PB ledge 🥰. I absolutely love the different class types as well since you can tailor it to what your body needs. PB Mill Creek/Lynnwood has helped me get through a few medical issues I was having that caused bloating and different changes in my body. Instructors are very knowledgeable and can offer modifications (as well as corrections) to assist you in feeling how different positions affect your targeted body part based on your unique body's condition on that particular day! I absolutely love the bathroom artwork, which reminds me that "all butts are welcomed" at PB Mill Creek/Lynnwood. A great reminder for me when I don't feel my best and overly bloated and self-conscious.

The only thing I would say is, I wish the carpet wasn't there because I am not a fan of carpet.🤣 However, that is just a generic complaint on a corporate level since this is a franchise. It is not something that can be changed. The workouts themselves are 5 star worthy and I had to get over the carpet . . . at least when I am working out at the studio(s)!😊

Pure Barre has been such a great addition to the community. After some hiccups, it reopened under a new owner whom owns and oversees a couple other studios around Seattle so I’ve felt comfortable since I first stepped in! All the instructors and front desk associates are friendly and welcoming. I had no idea what I was doing my first time but everyone in class made it easy to follow the moves. Barre has been a great low impact workout I can easily fit into my day!

Edit May 2024: I'm thrilled that Pure Barre Mill Creek has reopened under new ownership after the previous sudden closure! So glad to be back taking classes again.

Edit Nov 2023: Welp, after just 2 months of being open and literally days after the logo was installed above the entrance door, there has been an “extreme circumstance and unexpected transition at the ownership level”, per the email sent out to members and the studio is “temporarily closed”. However from everything I have since found out online, this closing is not an isolated occurrence as other studios under the same ownership have been affected as well and I sadly expect this closure will more than likely be permanent. What a huge disappointment after signing up to be a founding member 9 months before the studio opened, only to have this wonderful place suddenly close so quickly after opening due to bad management at some higher level which has ruined it for everyone. Sending my love to the PBMC and Lynnwood staff who are the biggest victims in this huge mess.

I’m so excited that Pure Barre Mill Creek is open! I’m a ballet dancer and had been looking for a new workout routine to improve my conditioning and Pure Barre is exactly what I needed. The workouts are tough but effective and I can already feel myself getting stronger. You will get in shape very quickly with Pure Barre! I love that there are now multiple class types: Pure Barre Classic, Align, and Empower which focus on strength, stretching, and cardio, respectively. All of the instructors are great and the music makes such a difference in keeping me energized and motivated to complete each class to the best of my ability.

LOVE Purebarre!! The instructors bring an energy and fun playlist to the 6am classes that is contagious. The classes are never repetitive and are very challenging—in the best way. They also have fun challenges and raffles, etc. These muscle shakes are crazy!

Pure Barre is a great workout. The classes aren’t easy but you never feel like you can’t finish - the right mix. Instructors are great, giving clear instruction on how to get into each of the exercises. They will monitor and give tips to make sure your form doesn’t slip. The whole community is always warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.
