I’ve been coming here since shortly after 2021 and absolutely love the vibe, the teachers, and the community. There are multiple classes I enjoy, and the inspiring staff make it easy to stay motivated. With so many class options, I can always find something that fits into my schedule—whether it’s before work, during lunch, or in the evening.
This place keeps me strong and moving the way I should. The only time I feel those unwanted aches and pains is when I don’t work out here.
With nearly 650 classes under my belt, I’m here for life.

I’ve been going to Pure Barre in Redmond on and off for about a year and regularly since November. It’s a really effective workout that is still fun. It’s also a really healthy environment — it’s about being active and strong, I never hear any body shaming or talk about what bodies look like (which is so common in the fitness world and triggering for many people). I like the ease of fitting the classes into my schedule and the options I have for times and type of classes. The instructors are encouraging and helpful, providing specific form corrections that help me be safe and do the movements effectively. This is the most consistent I’ve been about strength and mobility workouts and I love it.

Pure Barre has been a wonderful experience for me! The classes are thoughtfully structured to accommodate a variety of schedules, which makes it easy to stay consistent even with a busy routine. Whether you’re an early riser or prefer evening workouts, there’s something that fits. The instructors are not only friendly and welcoming, but also incredibly knowledgeable. They take the time to listen to your goals or concerns and make you feel supported throughout your fitness journey. It’s a motivating, positive environment where you truly feel seen and encouraged every step of the way.

This review is long overdue since I’ve taken over 200 classes at Redmond Pure Barre, but they are the best! Not only is it an amazing full body workout (you will be sore after), but it’s the awesome atmosphere they create! It doesn’t matter if fitness is your life or you are new to working out, everyone is welcome! There’s no judgement from the instructors and they are happy to offer help and encouragement if needed. Take a peek at the different classes, there’s something for everyone, and come try a class!

I signed up via ClassPass and was late by 3 mins precisely ( I am 7 months postpartum) . They didn’t allow me in the class and asked me to follow up with class pass for credits. Such a terrible experience. There was ample space available in the class but they didn’t just let me in. There could be n number of reasons for small delays in the summertime and we are all humans . I tried my best to not be late , spent my Saturday morning getting ready and commuting to this place .
I am never booking a class here again coz workouts are meant to release stress and not give back stress.

I have been taking barre classes here for a month and a half now and it’s a great workout! Yes, you need to have sticky socks and can’t be late, as other reviewers have said. It’s not a big deal. 😉 Most forms of exercise require you buy some equipment, and most classes you take also have a firm start time. Try the free class on Wednesday or Saturday and see if you like it!

I tried to attend my first class today that I booked through classpass. I didn’t get any welcome email with the instructions for parking etc. I arrived 1 min late and she started saying I am late and the class has begun. I said I am just 1 min late and she was saying the ‘class is full’. I asked her why they allowed me to book in that case. Then she asked if I had sticky socks. I didn’t have and she said I need to buy them for 20$. I asked her if she would allow me into the class after I buy. She said yeah we should do that fast and let you in. Totally unprofessional experience and felt uncomfortable.
After that, I was trying to cancel my class in classpass and I wasn’t able to. I went back and asked her about it. She said she marked me as I showed up! (without letting me in!) This definitely feels like a scam! She marked me as a show and tried to get money from my classpass without letting me in. And on my end, I can’t cancel the class and get my credits back. I was totally confused! Waste of my time and energy, terrible client experience

Barre is the first work out I have stuck with and this is all thanks to Pure Barre.
Redmond crew is reliable and friendly and professional at all times. Franchise owner Lizelle herself is super talented and seems to understand the basics as well as complexity of human anatomy related to the work outs. She is also very attentive to her customers needs and very much appreciate her attention to detail in every single class! Go Lizelle! Go PureBarre Redmond !

I hate all types of exercise, with the exception of running. I used to run when I lived in AZ, but I find it too challenging to run in WA due to the weather. I was on the hunt for something else I could do instead, because while I hate exercise, I understand its importance. I decided to try barre. The owner and all of the instructors are kind, helpful, and always maintain their energy. If there was a day they didn't want to be there, I would never know, because they are all enthusiastic and excited to be there. They make an effort to get to know everyone, which is not something I experienced when I did Orange Theory. Honestly, you go for the exercise, but stay for the community. Pure Barre Redmond has shown me that exercise can be hard, but with the right support and people around you, it becomes easier. The location is always clean, and when I come in I am greeted by name. I feel lucky to be part of this community.

I have been doing Pure Barre for over 10 years, but just recently moved and began attending PB Redmond. I was nervous going to a new studio after being at the same one so long, but it has been amazing! The staff is super friendly, the teachers are upbeat, talented and fun and I always get an awesome workout in. I am most obsessed with the Define format class, but all of them are great. I get a great workout every time. Oh and free parking in the garage!

I am so happy I found Pure Barre Redmond! I have done barre for years and love the workout, but I stay for the magic and community of this place. Everyone is welcoming, kind and going to class is a joy. The instructors really make an effort to get to know you and understand your goals. The space is always bright and clean. I am truly so grateful for this amazing space and the incredible people who make it possible ! Truly a wonderful experience every-time I visit!

I’ve been going to Pure Barre for almost 18 months now. The workouts continue to be challenging and the instructors work hard to freshen up the choreography so almost no workout is the same. The instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. The staff is super warm and welcoming. I absolutely love PB Redmond!

PB Redmond is my happy place ☺️ I’ve been a Pure Barre Redmond member for 4 years, regularly attending classes in person and online during the pandemic, and a PB member in other cities prior to that. This is the best studio I’ve visited, from incredible instructors to a great location and well-maintained facility. The classes are high energy, thoughtfully choreographed and always a manageable challenge, with modifications and adjustments offered. The Seattle area studios have a strong reputation nationally and Redmond sets the standard! I love the community I’ve formed getting to know other members and it’s so comfortable to be around a wide variety of ages and abilities. Everyone is there for a good workout and I’ve never been disappointed!

I arrived at this studio half a minute late. The front desk immediately asked me if I had grip socks. After getting an affirmative answer from me, she denied me access to the classroom, citing that I was half a minute late : )

I was excited to take barre classes at this location as I had recently moved to the Redmond area. I have taken barre workout classes in the classes and understand how they work. However, as a person with a vision impairment, I had decided to call the studio to let them know and had merely asked if they could correct my body movements during workouts in the case that I was doing them incorrectly, which I believe is a pretty normal ask from others who are not disabled. My intent to call them was to understand the structure of their classes—instructor modeling movements, instructors coming to fix incorrect movements, etc.. Instead of just taking note of my statement, they had proceeded to state that I was a safety concern and a liability and should take private lessons, which do not exist but they had created due to my disability for me. It is unfortunate that the owner chooses to come to this conclusion without even having a conversation with me and ask simple questions like “have you taken barre before?” “What is your biggest concern?”, etc.. Very disappointed that rather than trying to see what we are able to work out, they only see me as a liability.

This was my first time attending a Pure Barre class, and I had a fantastic experience. I was a bit nervous before attending due to some injuries from military service. However, Lizelle and her staff were extremely knowledgeable and made me feel I was in great hands. Strongly recommend to those who are looking to get into Pure Barre.

WATCH OUT as they try to trick you into buying super expensive $20 a pair sticky socks on your first class! They require everyone to wear sticky socks when entering the studio, but they DON'T make it very clearly in their welcome email. Pretty much everyone in my intro class today had to spend $20 to buy one pair of sticky socks. I feel scammed by them. Not cool.

I've been a client of Pure Barre Redmond for years and without a doubt, it is the best barre studio in town (trust me, I've tried other barre studios around Redmond/Kirkland over the years) . Lizelle and her staff make everyone feels so welcome, no matter if you're a barre newbie or a barre pro. The instructors are all very impressive and always know how to both challenge and support their clients so we all can get the most out of every class. 10/10 recommend!

Very frustrating experience! I'll never go there again. You'll be locked out even you're only one minute late and will be charged $20 for no show ( you could argue later to waive, but just keep that in mind, you have to spend time to argue and explain )
Their system has some issue with car process, so they didn't charge me for two months and I couldn't register any class online meanwhile, but after these two months, they charged me silently given I was locked out the system and haven't taken any classes, so I paid over $300 for nothing. Then I tried to cancel my membership, this time, they call me and tried many different ways to let me resume the membership. How frustrating and ridiculous this is!

Pure Barre Redmond is a fantastic fitness community. Great workout with fun, friendly instructors and some nice stretching in every class. My flexibility and strength noticeably improved. The studio is always clean. The workouts are modifiable, which is great if you are a beginner or want to take it easy - the instructors give different options as they lead the class. Highly recommend!!

Lizelle is an amazing person! They’re welcoming no judgement zone. Everyone here is just so kind and helpful! Most importantly knowledgeable! It’s going to take me a few classes to build my momentum. I admit after my second class I felt a little defeated but I kept coming back! Just try it! You’re reading reviews, it’s free one time come check them out! You won’t regret it! It’s core work, it’s hard work! But gratifying in the end!

It’s officially my one month anniversary with Pure Barre! I am really proud of myself for consistently showing up for myself and my wellness, and grateful to Bella and the PureBarre Redmond team for maintaining a positive environment to grow. I was apprehensive for the first few weeks, but I’m happy with my experience so far. Bella is an attentive and knowledgeable instructor, and her athletic ability and confidence are encouraging to see for beginners like me. All of the team, like Lizelle, take time to answer questions if you have them. The classes are fast-paced and challenging. Being a former martial artist, I underestimated just how challenging it can be, but it works out muscles that you may not target traditionally - great for core and pelvic strength. I don’t know that my progress visibly shows, but I do know I have stronger abs building. Lastly, I’d say that I have not once run into a situation where I felt uncomfortable with customer service or billing. PureBarre Redmond makes it easy to just focus on fitness, which is something I couldn’t say for many other fitness institutions I’ve tried. Thanks, guys!

I've been taking barre here for many years; over 800 classes! I've never committed to any other workout like this; it's fantastic total body conditioning. I found Pure Barre after a few medical setbacks had forced me to quit running. While disappointed to give up that runners high, I soon saw the impressive results of these lower impact exercises - and how much better my body responded. It was something I could keep up on a daily basis, and made my muscles and ligaments strong enough to add back in running when I want. I highly recommend Pure Bare Redmond!

I just started barre in late August, and I was worried I would not "fit in" to the barre scene, and the great (badass) women at Pure Barre Redmond were the most welcoming, helpful and encouraging people I could have ever imagnined! There were a lot of moves that I just physically couldn't do and the coaches were always quick to offer modifications so I could keep moving with the rest of the class. Lizelle, the studio owner, is PHENOMENAL and I highly encourage you to consider taking a class to check it out!

Best workout of my life!

Good workout for all muscles, energetic music, nice instructor. I would have left 5 start review for that. But I didn't like customer service.
Classes were closed for several months during coronavirus, and all that time I payed for membership. At last month, I decided to cancel membership, but this option is not available online, and no one was in office or answered the phone. I asked my bank to stop paying. Several days later, I was contacted from studio where they told me that according to my contract (I don't even know where I can read this contract) I can only cancel membership in email, and they will pass my debt to collection. I payed it, of course.
I still think it would be fine if I didn't pay for 1 months of service which I didn't actually use for several months, and even if no, threatening to pass my debt to collection is quite aggressive. No one ever wanted to to collect my debts before this incident.

Edit: I gave this place another chance on a Saturday morning again and loved it! Bailey was great and made the experience fun!
Original Review: I went on a Saturday several months ago for the first time and the instructor was terrible. There were only 4 other people in the class and 3 of them it was their first time so you would think she would show us how to do everything but she mostly just talked at us and we were all confused. Also weird, they took my license while I was in class even though it was paid for already and I didnt borrow anything from them. Not going back to this place.

Well, I’ve attempted to contact this studio a few times now. They did not reply to my email, nor did they reply to my application online for an intro class. Also, I just carved time out of my day to come in to their studio during open hours (1:50pm on a Thursday) and the doors are Locked?! No note, no explanation, no one in sight. This pattern does not reflect a client first or professional studio. They’ve definitely just lost a previously very interested client.

Went for a free trial class and fell in love with the workout. This is just the right kind of work out for me. Small movements and someone to make sure I am doing it correctly. The instructors are always so eager to help and push you as far as you want to go. If you don't want to push yourself that day they totally understand. They are very encouraging during class and ends up knowing everyone's name. Every time I go in I am greeted by a nice welcome. If I have questions or need help they are always happy to do that. Can't wait till my next class

Pure Barre Redmond is such a wonderful, supportive community!! Having only gone to yoga classes in the past, I was pretty hesitant to go since I knew I was lacking in the strength department but, I took the plunge and haven't looked back! Everyone is so incredibly kind and the instructors know my name and chat with me. I wasn't able to hold even a 20 second plank in my first class but, 10 classes in, I got to a 60 second plank!! I love coming here!

Liked the workout. New owner is very personable and helpful. Not encouraging for beginners as there is not any way to get acclimated. You learn by doing with minimal instruction. This may work for most but I think I may be TOO out of shape. Decided to go back after a month of working out on my own.
