From my first interactions with Madison via email through to the class itself with Jennifer, I am very impressed with the character and welcoming nature of the studio and community. I am a regular to Pure Barre in Maryland and this did not disappoint. The Queen Anne studio excels! If I am ever back in Seattle I will be sure to stop back by. Hopefully for an Align with Jennifer ;-)

I can’t recommend Pure Barre enough! This workout has truly transformed both my physical and mental health in ways I never expected. The teachers are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always supportive, ensuring each class is challenging in the best possible way. Beyond the workout, the community here is so welcoming and uplifting and it’s clear everyone genuinely cares about one another’s progress and well-being. If you’re looking for a workout that will leave you feeling stronger, more confident, and part of something special, this is the place to be!

This studio has it all. If you're looking for a more low key but still strengthening workout for off days or for rehab/postpartum/recovery, their align classes are perfect. If you want vigor, check out empower or define classes. And if you want a great overall workout, try classic.

Do NOT sign up for Pure Barre unless you are absolutely certain you want this membership—and make sure to read the fine print carefully.

Canceling was unnecessarily difficult, took several months, and the staff were rude and dismissive. My efforts to contact the studio were met with technical issues, under-staffed front desks, and a lack of professionalism, with staff implying that I hadn’t done enough to cancel an obviously unused membership. Rather than understanding the situation, their business team traps members in the fine print to retain their membership...or rather, payments.

While the class itself was excellent, the frustrating and convoluted membership policies, combined with poor customer service, made this an overall disappointing experience.

Wow pure barre has changed so much! I just really wanted to leave a positive review for my experience in 2014. I regret not prioritizing at least a month of pure barre then. I showed up with a former coworker. I still love a good work out, and I remember being very sore after that first class. When reattempting this week at the Miami location, I forgot about the rubberized socks. I found that frustrating.

I have had alignment and pain issues and have tried many different exercise regimes throughout my life. Barre, combined with massage and swimming, is actually FINALLY getting the job done for me. The team here is uniquely supportive and helpful and really cares about solving problems rather than just powering through them. It's a totally different experience that I can't recommend enough.

DO NOT PURCHASE PACKAGES FROM THE APP- the app has bugs! I purchased a package as it was advertised through the app and got an error saying my payment didn’t go through! So I tried the second time and it worked! I have been now charged twice (over $600) and Pure Barre doesn’t take any accountability for their app errors! Please be cautious! Don’t purchase from their app! Im so disappointed! Im never going back! I rather have my $600 go straight into trash than deal with a business that have zero loyalty to their customers!

I was new to barre when I tried the studio and found the instructors and environment to be super welcoming. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and know their anatomy well, which is great for getting fine-tuned adjustments during class. I'd still be taking classes if I hadn't been forced to move back to CA!

Love Pure Barre! I do the online/virtual classes, and I love the flexibility. You don't really need any equipment, but weights and some bands help get a better workout. I have been to in person classes before, but online classes allow for a busy schedule and can be easily tailored to home. I like that teachers are very positive, encouraging and also share modifications. I think they have figured out a great way to do virtual classes!

I love this studio! Each instructor I’ve had is patient, encouraging, and very skilled in providing hands on adjustments to target the intended muscle group. This full body work out is the perfect option for my cross training to keep me injury free as a runner. Keep up the great work, Pure Barre Queen Anne!!

I was super, super on the fence about barre, but then I took a class at Pure Barre and now I'm hooked. I had an amazing instructor who was super helpful during the whole thing and the workout itself is challenging, fun, and worthwhile.

They do a wonderful job with first-timers. A seriously tough workout, even for people who consider themselves very fit. Pure Barre focuses on tiny movements in notoriously weak muscle groups.

I will admit it took time for this studio to grow on me. I have tried a variety of barre studios in my life, and loved the barre studio I went to when I lived in SF. It took some time to get use to the differences. It's a fantastic workout for every level. They're are a bunch of modifications to increase/decrease difficulty or work around injuries. The staff is very nice and helpful. There are lockers to hold your stuff while in class and 2 dressing areas. No showers. You can park for free in the QFC garage underneath.
