Candice gave my body back to me. After a frozen shoulder and a mastectomy with reconstruction, I was the weakest I’d ever been. Candice guided my body and confidence back into shape. Forever grateful to you Candice!

Candice has changed my relationship with fitness and helped me improve in ways I didn’t think were possible! Things that used to hurt don’t hurt anymore. I’ve lost weight and gained flexibility and strength. I moved to a different neighborhood but still make the trek to West Seattle because she’s that wonderful!

I have scoliosis and have dealt with chronic pain for most of my life with my pain levels consistently at a 5 or above. After the first few months of training with Candice about twice a week, my pain is consistently at a 3 or below.
We started with releasing and stretching my IT band and any where else that was tight. I learned a bunch of exercises and how to recognize where I should be feeling it, and when I should modify or stop to avoid hurting myself.
The exercises all utilize simple equipment like fitness bands, small weights, and a foam roller, so it was perfect to do the training sessions virtually and be able to keep doing the exercises throughout the week on my own time.
Candice is very encouraging and has helped me with my fitness goals so far. As I continue to work with her, I’m more motivated than ever to continue strengthening my body and actually look at workouts as fun, which I never would have thought before.
I am in so much less pain and have more energy. Training with Rosefit has completely transformed my life.

I've been training with Candice at Rosefit for about six months. Through movement, she has successfully corrected a muscular imbalance between my left and right sides that was driving a tremendous amount of back pain. In addition, I have lost 10+ pounds and am in the best shape I've ever been in, while also not being in pain from misuse. The gym space is open and clean, and full of great local art. Group class times are super convenient. Overall, best gym experience I've had.

My physical therapist referred me to Candice to get me back into strength training after I broke my knee. I have been seeing Candice for one-on-one trainings and group workouts (with both Candice and JR) for four months now, and I'm so thankful to be here.
Rosefit is not your typical personal training outfit. This is not a HIIT gym. There is no built-in competition (though we do like to rib each other). You will not be encouraged to do reps as fast as possible; instead, proper form and how the movement feels for your body is most important. Candice and JR highly value making workouts accessible and (dare I say) fun. They are both quick with modifications if necessary, and have a million different ways to work with or around an injury or any discomfort. Rosefit is appropriate for any age and any physical ability. You will find no deadlifts here, because they aren't necessary. Fascial release and stretching are built into the workouts and trainings.
I will also add that this is a friendly and safe space for gender non-conforming individuals - do note, however, that the building's bathrooms are needlessly gendered. (I have started to petition Candice to harass the building owners into changing this.)

I just did Candice’s Fascia Release workshop. Wow! I didn’t expect to get so much out of it. Not only did Candice make us work deep and took the time to give each of us her undivided attention when we needed it, but she also found a way to share a lot of knowledge with us. I will definitely sign up for the follow-up workshop, to focus on other areas of my body. My teenage daughter was with me and she loved it too. She also wants to do the follow-up!
