The receptionists gave contradict information to use and made me feel they intentionally tricked us. My daughter was sick on one day in Sep. I called in 2-3 hours before the class to check what's the sick policy. The receptionist told me they can go to makeup class for free which happens on 1st week of every month. So we didn't insist in coming to the gym. The next time we went to the gym in person for a class, and I asked again to confirm the time for makeup class. The receptionist said there's no makeup class here at the gym. It's the gym time on second week of Oct for $5. The saying is completely different from first receptionist. Also every time when receptionist made a mistake, client had to take it though they apologize. Last time when we had a class cancelled, the date was written wrong. We already went to gym by the time and wasn't able to do anything. I feel they don't care about us at all. Two points go to the coaches. They're great and I'm happy with them.

Fun for kids, but more of a supervised play time than any actual skill development.

Large facility with a good variety of equipment.

Unfortunately, they have a hypocritical policy of asking all the customers to remove their shoes to keep the place clean, but the staff walk all over the place with dirty shoes on. Including walking on the equipment. Gross!

I think we'll go to other places until the staff stops wearing shoes in the gymnasium.

Update: Thanks for the reply. Having a pair of shoes dedicated to use at the facility is a reasonable approach.

Fun for the kids but safety protocols are severely lacking. When you pick up your child they don't even ask your name let alone check your ID or implement another verification. They just ask "who are you picking up" then they instruct that child to leave with you. Makes you wonder how safe they are while you have your child under their custody

I haven’t had the opportunity to enroll my daughter which is why I’m writing the review. It’s like a bittersweet experience; we’ve been on the waitlist forever. Notifications are first come first serve basis. However, there’s a reason why it’s booked and hard to get into.

I will look into other places even if I have to go somewhere far because my concerns with class availability go further than getting in. I question if her learning/training will be consistent. For example, if some miracle happens upon us and we get in, will there be an opening when she moves up? Or will she have to stop her training for a year or two before an opening comes up again.

Love the idea of this place and the results seem amazing, the feedback from other parents are great, so as far as I know, the popularity supports the year long waitlists for sure.

***Update***
I was contacted shortly after inquiring about the status of my daughter on the waitlist and was offered an opportunity to enroll in a class. However, I had already enrolled her into another gym.

In reference to my original review, one of my main concerns was answered, and I wanted to share that feedback here seeing this has reached many; once your child is registered & enrolled into a class, they are able to level up/age up when ready.

With that being said, enjoy! I love seeing the community create opportunities for the kids to take advantage of enjoy 😊 🤸‍♂️🤸

Seattle Gymnastics Academy is an outstanding place for children to explore and grow their gymnastics skills. The coaches are exceptionally skilled, offering personalized attention to each student to ensure they are both challenged and supported. The facilities are top-notch, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for gymnastics training. The environment is not only safe but also incredibly nurturing, fostering confidence and discipline among the students. I highly recommend Seattle Gymnastics Academy to any parent considering gymnastics for their child. It's a great investment in their physical and personal development.

Great gymnastics academy that has options for every child at every age. The classes teach the children a lot of different skills and they have a great indoor playground. Having birthday parties there are pretty fun as well. The best part of this place is the space as well as the foam pits.

Our daughter was at team trial and she broke her arm at uneven bar at Colombia city. :(. We still wonder why coach wasn’t watching her. Not sure if we recommend this gym. We think we should share our experiences here.

We would also like to know how it happened why it couldn’t have prevented. She is still recovering, so traumatized and definitely not coming back.
