SSP is not your standard heartless gym or limiting and expensive 1x1 personal training , but a place that does an amazing job balancing personal training and community. Trainers are excellent, schedule is flexible, and the program is top notch overall.

I joined SS&P because I needed to start prioritizing my health and fitness after many years avoiding it.

I’ve found the team to be friendly, supportive, affirming and encouraging, which has empowered me get to the gym 3 times a week for the past 5 weeks. I’m seeing results in the mirror and feeling stronger in my body. I’m excited to see what I’m capable of six months from now.

Thanks so much to Zaira, Lex, Taylor and the whole team for your help getting me to start working out at last!

My teens and I love SSP (we attend the QA. location). The coaches are great and the vibe of the gym is encouraging and positive. The membership is generous (unlimited classes basically). Most importantly, their customer services is phenomenal! I highly recommend it (for both adults and teens).

I joined SSP Queen Anne in August, and I can't say enough about how obsessed I am with this place. First, I love all the coaches, the vibe, and the approach. It truly feels so welcoming to all people and bodies, and I feel really safe there. Second, I can literally feel myself getting stronger and stronger each week, and I have so much more energy just in a few months! Lastly, SSP QA is just the best. I am so grateful that I found SSP and that I get to be a part of this special community!

When I first came for group classes at SSP, I immediately found it to be a lot of fun, yet challenging, and I felt a true sense of community. The instructors are knowledgable and give the right balance of encouragement and kindness. I also like their Master classes. It gives me an opportunity to hone in on a specific lift, set a goal, and see how truly strong I am. The final group session feels fantastic in our support of one another in our personal goals! I came for strength training and stayed for the personal connections!... (and for the strength training, of course!)

I’ve been working out at SSP QA for the past 4+ years and will keep going back. The trainers are great and the community is amazing. The SSP team does an exceptional job of creating workouts that challenge all ages and fitness levels, whether you’re a former college athlete in your 20’s or 30’s, a parent that’s looking to keep up with their kids, or just starting strength training for the first time in your 50’s or 60’s.

I’ve tried a lot of gym’s and workouts (F45, CrossFit, just going to the gym) and none of them has matched my experience at SSP.

Shout out to the SSP crew for always pushing me/us to show up and sweat.

I've been a member at the McGraw location for about 4 years. If you love group training and a strong supportive community this is the spot. The trainers are top notch and attentive to proper form of the exercises/movements and are always helpful by recommending modifications. The best part for me is not knowing what the workout is going to be and then finishing the workout. They offer a great mix of strength and metabolic classes which are more cardio focused. I really feel that I'm in the best shape I've ever been in as a result of SSP. I couldn't of asked for a better community to work out with. The community is all different age groups and strength levels which is great. I prefer group training since I grew bored at various health clubs. So glad I found SSP when we moved to Seattle.

I’ve been doing personal training at SSP for the last 8 months and the experience has been excellent so far and I’ve definitely started to notice the results. I’ve historically never been too much of a gym person and have usually felt a bit self-conscious in them when going by myself but I haven’t felt the same at SSP. The trainers are all friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a pretty diverse range of members at this gym and it does really feel like anyone can fit in here.

I’ve gone to a few of the non-workout community events this year as well and they’ve been really fun too. It’s always fun running into someone from the gym walking around QA.

Whenever I’m out of town or have to cancel a session I miss going to SSP.

I joined SSP a couple years ago and I absolutely love it. Everyone here is super friendly and knowledgeable. The personal training is great and impactful. It’s incredible how far I’ve come. I used to struggle to complete a 45-minute workout because my body couldn’t handle it. Now, I can crush it with heavy weights. I feel stronger and healthier than ever, thanks to the amazing programming and attention I get during each workout. The program is tailored to my specific goals and changes every 8 workouts (as I workout 2x / week). Every time I visit the gym, the coaches would check in with me and adjust the number of repetitions or the weight I’m lifting, or both, depending on how I’m feeling that day. Overall, the coaches are personable. Additionally, I don’t have to worry about my program because the staff is always in sync, and I can go to any location.

Last year, I also dealt with an elbow injury, but that didn’t stop me from making progress. My programs were modified to focus on lower body, and I continued to see improvements. One of my favorite aspects of the gym is their holistic approach to fitness. They emphasize developing good habits through consistency and listening to your body. They meet you where you are in your fitness journey. I’ve never felt more comfortable asking for modifications or saying “I can’t do it today.”

Special shoutout to Alex, Cory, Natalie, and Taylor, who have been my primary trainers.

Love this place, and working out at SSP is my favorite part of the day.

Huge fan of SSP and the strength program these trainers offer. Let me start by saying I am NOT a gym person - they give me the ick - but I needed to continue strength training after recovering from a broken fibula. SSP hooked me for three reasons: the personal training is quick and impactful, my progression has been tangible, and the scheduling is easy. I am still not a gym person, but I truly feel stronger and more confident because of the work I’ve done at SSP.

If you’re looking for a highly effective training, nice place and no BS, this is it! I have been training here for over one year now and here’s my experience at SSP:
- Facilities: are always very clean, well maintained and they always keep making improvements and adding new equipment.
- Coaches: They are all friendly, respectful and updated about new techniques and adding new things. They all keep a close eye on your conditions, injuries or progress (for real), I have had from stretching tips to certain aches to I recently let them know I was pregnant and they sent me a summary of very useful information and also referred me to a physical therapy place for the following months.
- Training: I take PT and classes and after one year I feel stronger and healthier than ever. Everyone has a customized plan, goes on their own speed and you just need to look around to notice everyone around the room is strong and improving.
- Scheduling app is super easy to use and friendly with the calendar sync android and iphone.
- Community: If this is important one for you, they are always running events offsite to hang out and build community. The plus, I would say is that even if you don’t assist, this really gives a warm casual vibe to place, like you’re working out with your good neighbors.
Love this place, Cory, Sam, Zaira, Tay, Alex! Everyone, keep meeting here just 10/10.

SSP is amazing! I’ve been going here for almost three years now, having never done strength training in any consistent way previously, and it has been a game changer for me. I only wish I had joined a place like this sooner! I’ve learned so much — and unlearned so much (like the myth that you only really need to strength train if you’re trying to bulk up, etc.) SSP meets you where you’re at with a warm welcome and no judgements and helps you find what works best for you, your body, your goals, and your schedule. I really appreciate that there is zero toxic gym culture weirdness here — you see people of all ages and all skill levels and all body types in the gym and all the coaches are super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Cory and Taylor who I’ve worked with primarily and who are both phenomenal coaches!! SSP is a place that will cheer you on and encourage you to keep pushing and growing, while also supporting you when you need to ramp things down and never making you feel pressured or uncomfortable. Can’t recommend SSP enough!

I have been going to SSP for about 3 months now. I love the semi private personal training as well as the strength and conditioning classes. The personal training has made the most difference in how my body feels. I already am so much stronger than when I first started- even more important, I have not had any injuries or pain as my workouts are tailored to my body and my progress. The personal trainers are outstanding- helpful, motivating, and quick to provide feedback and modifications so I can get the most out of every workout. It is investment from a cost perspective, but what is worth more than health.

SSP is a fantastic workout space and community. It is not a regular gym, where you go in and work out on your own; they only offer private training sessions (in a small group setting) and two varieties of exercise classes (one more strength-focused, the other more cardio-focused.)

This means that there's no unsupervised time, and for a person like me, this is optimal because I have no idea what I'm doing. However, I suspect that even an experienced athlete would enjoy the atmosphere and conviviality of the sessions, and would get a lot out of them physically.

SSP is a tremendous asset to the neighborhood, a real "third space" where you can get to know the people who live around you. It promotes not only physical health, but social health as well.

Seattle Strength & Performance has truly been a game changer for me. It all started with my intake session with Zaira, who was incredibly patient and kind. From the moment we sat down, she really listened, like, really listened, to what I was hoping to get out of this, even when I couldn’t quite articulate it myself. Every time I expressed a doubt, she gently reassured me: yes, you can do this. She took the time to walk me through SSP’s mission and philosophy (that strength training is truly for everybody) and it wasn’t just words. I felt it.

I signed up for their three week unlimited trial, and while I can’t say I was instantly hooked (I’m new to all of this and honestly can be pretty shy), I kept showing up. It took a lot of self-pep talks to even get out of the car some days, but after every single session, I left feeling more energized, supported, and maybe (just maybe) ready for the next one.

By the third week, I started to realize how special this place is. And I have to give a huge, sincere shoutout to Alex and Jaiden. These two are absolutely phenomenal. Their energy, encouragement, and knowledge make every session better. Whether they’re giving form cues, helping me stay consistent, or just offering a friendly smile or quick “you’ve got this,” they’ve made a huge difference in my confidence and comfort. They somehow manage to make you feel like the most important person in the room, even when they’re helping a dozen others at the same time.

Not only have the staff been fantastic, but the other members too. There’s a genuine sense of community here like people cheer each other on, check in, and celebrate the small wins. I knew I wanted to be part of that.

What I appreciate most is that I’ve never felt pushed beyond my limits. I always feel heard, respected, and supported. I love the group format, everyone is on their own personalized plan, but the energy is collective, and the coaches are right there with you.

SSP isn’t just a gym, it’s a place where I’m learning to feel strong, capable, and connected. And I’m so grateful I found it. I can’t wait see where the next year takes me!

Even though I knew strength training would serve me well as I get older, I didn’t know where to begin (and am turned off by typical gym culture, expecting to be judged for my ability and attire). SSP was recommended as a welcoming place no matter where you're starting from and I have found that to be very true!

A plan is made for each person according to their abilities. For me, that was starting at the _very_ beginning. I have worked primarily with one trainer (Alex) who has been patient and encouraging - I can only imagine other SSP trainers are the same.

I've been working out at Seattle Strength & Performance (SSP) for about 5 months. Calling it just a gym doesn't do it justice. SSP bucks the norms with their small group/semi-private training formats, personalized programming and focus on progressive overload AND functional training ensures strength training is tailored to your specific needs, helping you feel capable and get stronger.

The coaching is top-notch - special shout out to Nat, Sam, and Alex. They're incredibly knowledgeable, with a deep repertoire of exercises and adjustments to match different goals. They're also observant (no injuries on their watch) and energetic (no BS either), leaving you feeling invigorated after each session. Chris, the founder, has put together a talented team across all three locations. Sometimes the coaches rotate into the QA location - so I know they're great too.

The small group and class formats foster that sense of community which I was skeptical of at first. But I guess when you sweat together, and you've survived the tough workouts together - that means something! I totally get not everyone wants /needs to chat, including me some days. It just nice to acknowledge some familiar faces and see that we're all there to get our good sweat on.

I also love that SSP caters to all fitness levels including youth athletes. Even my kid (of their own free will) decided to join to improve performance in sports.

TL;DR: If you're serious about getting healthier and stronger - then join. You won't regret it.

Chris's gym and personal training program have literally changed my life. After dealing with chronic back pain for years my physical therapist pushed me to look into a weight-based exercise program to improve my core strength. I've followed Chris's journey from corporate life to fitness guru to gym(s!) owner and signed up with him to give it a try. I'm now a year+ in and I'm a changed person. After only a short time consistently working with SSP my back pain started to subside. I can now count myself mostly pain free and when another part of my body starts to hurt, the talented trainers at SSP modify my goals to address it. I'm officially a convert. The semi-personal training approach makes it affordable while maintaining a unique program created for my specific needs. Super glad to have discovered SSP! Until I did, I avoided gyms and the "bro culture" they tend to exude. The SSP community is a breath of fresh air and I love working with each coach and really enjoy their different personalities, and I feel motivated each time I attend a class or PT. Having broken my knee many years ago, I've had some associated pain ever since, but this has dramatically decreased since I started at SSP. Strength training has helped me build muscle while still maintaining the flexibility I get from Pilates. I've always loved a challenge and it's been amazing to me to see my progress from one month to the next, lifting heavier, feeling fitter...I feel stronger than ever!

Seattle Strength and Performance (SSP) is the best gym I have been to.

I have been working out here for 3 years and 9 months. The trainers are always great at helping all kinds of limitations that I or other people have had. Whether you're new to working out or have been doing it for years, they know how to support you.

When I started working out I was 11 months postpartum with my second child. I needed help just being able to stay healthy for my kids and there for my kids. The trainers helped me adapt the exercises in class and my personal training to get me on track. Back then I struggled to make two classes per week. Now I able to do 4 classes per week as long as work doesn't get in the way. Adding their Personal training to my plan was the best addition for my goals.

The Personal Training classes are unique. They train you plus a couple other students at the same time. However, you still have a customized plan for your goals at the time. This leads to camaraderie with your fellow gym goers and you don't have to be in the gym with your training quietly working out.

If you want to get stronger and feel great about working out, try Seattle Strength and Performance (SSP). They make sure everyone can achieve their goals, no matter where they're starting from. I really love how they focus on what each persons needs. If you're looking for a gym in Seattle, this is the best choice for you.

I've been strength training at SSP for two months now and it has been an absolute delight. My journey with fitness is a complex one due to some injuries, both old and new. Because of this, working with a trainer or even simply going to a gym comes will some frustrating mental and physical obstacles. The crew at SSP, Sam in particular, has proven to be the answer I've been looking for. First of all, the space is clean and modern and vibe is incredibly welcoming. The workouts are challenging and obviously crafted with a holistic approach with safety being a priority. Sam, with whom I work personally, is a wealth of information regarding how our bodies work and also, how to challenge them in big and small ways. The coaching delivered is authentic, honest and encouraging. I am so glad I found them and can't wait to see what it's like to live in my body a year from now. Thank you Sam for your impact on me and Chris (the owner) for what you've contributed to the community.
THANK YOU!!

Solid 5 star review. I joined SSP 1.5 years ago and finally started enjoying going to the gym. Being in this community has really been a game changer for my fitness journey. The coaches are energetic, knowledgeable, and somehow remember everyone’s name (even outside of classes). The coaches really make SSP what it is - major kudos to everyone at QA!

The close attention in personal training fantastic and a great opportunity to learn more about strength training for you. Classes are fun and high energy - I am definitely able to push myself harder in a group setting than in individual workouts.

Would highly recommend!

I started here in January 2024. I had very little experience in fitness, but I knew that I needed to make a change. I was not able to do a plank, but all of the coaches were super accommodating to provide a different options for any exercise and make sure to meet you at your own level. I have reactive arthritis, fibromyalgia, and hip issues that have caused issues with my fitness and limited my ability.
First off, I have seen a huge remission in my chronic illnesses as well. I am now able to do a plank and a lot of other moves that seemed daunting at the beginning. Not only are the coaches great and just wonderful people, the other members are encouraging and motivated to help and support you. There is such a great community that helps me keep motivated and excited to exercise.

My wife started there, then pulled me in. We're quite different people, and SSP works for both of us. I'm a lifelong endurance athlete, and these guys got me to enjoy strength training. Both of us have made measurable progress in a welcoming atmosphere.

Everyone says that, but it's actually true. There are probably two distinguishing points about SSP: 1.) It's a community, not just a workout. 2.) These people actually know what they are doing.
You will not be pushed so hard that you hurt yourself.

Consistency for the win.

I've now reached my one year anniversary with SS&P, and, as they say, what a difference a year makes. Having recently turned 70 I feel stronger and more physically fit than I have in years, for which I thank the folks at SSP who know what they are doing and impart their wisdom with enthusiasm and care. SSP is not a big anonymous gym situation. It's smaller with a culture that's welcoming, supportive and intent on helping you learn more and get stronger.

SSP is the perfect place for both newbies and those that already feel comfortable in a gym. They meet you where you are at, creating a well rounded exercise plan to help you meet your goals and modify exercises for any sore spots.

SSP was recommended to me by my physical therapist to help me regain more strength after an injury. I had never really lifted weights before and didn’t know where to start. I signed up for personal training once a week and have been attending some weekly strength classes. I’ve already seen a vast improvement in my strength and overall stability 6 weeks in.

I love the community they have created and I’ve been enjoying seeing the fast gains I’ve gotten already from their personal training! Highly recommend their gym!

Wow! I can't say enough good things about this incredible gym in Upper Queen Anne. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had found something special. The welcoming atmosphere and inclusive culture make everyone feel like they belong, regardless of fitness level or background.

The coaches here are truly exceptional. Coach Chris, Taylor, and Camaira are not just knowledgeable and skilled, but they genuinely care about each member's progress and well-being. They take the time to understand individual goals and provide personalized guidance, pushing you to achieve more than you thought possible while ensuring proper form and safety.

What sets this gym apart is its positive impact on both personal health and the community. Since joining, I've seen remarkable improvements in my strength, endurance, and overall well-being. The supportive environment has helped me stay consistent with my fitness journey, and I've never felt better.

But it's not just about individual gains - this gym has become a hub for community building. The friendships formed here extend beyond workout sessions, creating a network of support and encouragement that uplifts the entire Upper Queen Anne neighborhood.

The facilities are top-notch, always clean and well-maintained, with a great variety of equipment to suit different workout styles. Whether you're into strength training, cardio, or group classes, there's something for everyone.

If you're looking for a gym that offers more than just a place to work out, look no further. This Upper Queen Anne gem has transformed my life and the lives of many others in our community. Five stars don't do it justice - this place deserves ten!

My experience at SSP has been fantastic! It’s been a pleasure to work with the coaches, who are all excellent - kind, motivating, and so inclusive! They’ve been more than willing to answer questions and provide additional information whenever requested - special shoutout to the coaches I’ve interacted with most - Michelle, Danny, and Natalie, thank you! The community at SSP is something I’ve grown very quickly attached to - it’s been super welcoming even as a newbie to strength training.

Personally, I’m already seeing results - in terms of my posture, energy levels, and stamina. The personal training sessions have been very helpful in catering to my specific goals. The pace and level of difficulty of the metcon and strength classes fits my needs, and challenges me to the optimum level.

I LOVE this gym!!! I joined a few months ago, and I have been so impressed with the knowledge and care of all of the staff members. There are trainers with advanced degrees and advanced certificates, a physical therapist, and a dietician on staff, all of whom meet people where they are. It was important to me to go to a gym that did not push fad or extremely restrictive diets, and they don’t. It is entirely up to you as to whether you work with their nutritionist or not, and the advice they do provide via their newsletter or opt-in meetings is nutritionally and scientifically sound. They are body-positive, their workouts are well-designed to avoid injury, and are very effective. I’m really impressed with the time that goes into designing individual personal training plans and how they scale up over time. And, as someone who has had a sprained ankle and two knee surgeries, they truly incorporate exercises that build muscle strength designed to help keep my knee and ankle healthy, much like my former physical therapist did. And a small thing, but—I really appreciate how they don’t blast loud music during the workouts! I look forward to my workouts because the trainers always have such positive attitudes, they go by quickly, and I always feel great afterwards. Thanks, SSP!

I can't speak highly enough about SSP. I joined their trial 4 months ago after a decade of going to big box gyms and using at-home workout apps and ultimately giving up or not seeing results I wanted. I finally took a chance on SSP and it's the best decision I've ever made for my body and mental health. Each Personal Training or Strength/Endurance class focuses on full body mobility, strength, form, and balance. Every single workout is a 10/10 and I look forward to coming in every day - something I never thought I'd say. It's also such a convenient small gym to join if you have a busy schedule. I own a business and work from home so my schedule is random and SSP's time slots are so vast that I can always find a convenient time to come in.

Another wonderful part about SSP is the people. The trainers are so kind, helpful, and personal with you so you don't feel like just a customer. They're also extremely smart and keen to watching and adjusting your form. All of the members are friendly and supportive as well, they even do monthly happy hours! It's clear that community is in SSP's core values.

The last thing to add is that people usually start going to a new gym to see results in their body, which admittedly was mine as well, but the biggest, most pleasant surprise I've had is how in love with the process I've fallen. It's fun to see results but feeling good and being excited to move my body everyday has surpassed my initial expectations.

After moving to Seattle in March 2021 I joined SSP two months later to prepare for my first Spartan race. I had no idea it would be the place where I met some of my best friends and become a part of such an amazing community full of motivated, encouraging and just purely awesome people. I’ve been to a lot of gyms but SSP is like no other. The coaches are by far the best when it comes to professionalism, caring about and educating members , and investing in the health of our community. SSP is more than just a gym…it’s a family…it’s a safe space that truly recognizes the importance of health, physically and mentally. Being able to focus on strength training and nutrition these past two years has not only drastically improved my muscle development but also my mindset when it comes to determination and never giving up!

I’ve been a member of SSP for over a year now. I’ve worked out my entire life and have experienced big box gyms to Ys, and now SSP. While traveling, I recently experienced a more classic gym setup. 90% of the exercise machines were set up for men by men. I know my way around workouts, but I felt overwhelmed and wanted to get out as soon as I could. It gave me so much gratitude for my gym. SSP is the polar opposite. I would classify SSP as a ‘mindful, inclusive gym’. Majority of the classes include people in their 20s to 60s+ with a healthy mix of women and men. The workout is always hard, satisfying, and supportive. You get lots of individual help and your classmates are fun to hang with. The owner, Chris, and other teachers, know their craft exceptionally well, have a high bar and are supportive. They meet you where you are and encourage you to become more in the best way. Thanks for creating a gym that deserves a whole new category descriptor and disrupting status quo. I don’t know what I’d do without you, SSP!

I've had a great experience with SSP. It's a really positive environment, and I'm really happy with the results.
I started going to SSP for general health improvements, but also hoping that it could help with hockey. I recently got back into hockey at 40+ after 20 years off, and I found that my quads, especially, didn't have the strength to finish out the games in good form, and I was also getting muscle-strain injuries fairly often.
Since joining SSP, my strength is better, so I'm finishing games with the same form that I start with, my flexibility is worlds better, and I haven't had an injury since. I set a goal for myself of competing in a higher division of hockey, which means keeping up with even faster, younger players, and I've been able to make that happen this year. Highly recommend SSP!

I could go on about how I’ve nearly doubled in weights for every lift or how much better of a runner I am now, but most importantly, my time at SSP has taught me that I am capable of so much more! I’ve gained so much confidence in myself this past year and for the first time in my life, I feel empowered to do anything I set my mind to. Before joining SSP, I was going through a rough patch and feeling overwhelmed by every news headline that I saw, but SSP became my safe space during that time, and now my life feels much more balanced. The support the SSP coaches is unlike any other, they truly feel like family! I’m looking forward to future Spartan races, team happy hours, and cheering each other on whenever someone accomplishes something new or hits a new PR in the days to come.

Being a part of SSP has been a great addition to my weekly schedule, especially as work from home stretched indefinitely. I feel better than ever physically, and ready to hit the slopes this season. SSP is a great community that I’m excited to be a part of.

I happened to join SSP just before I tore my ACL in March, and felt so happy to have coaches that were able to modify the workouts for me! I was able to get back in the gym less than 3 weeks after the surgery, and the strength classes were especially helpful to do alongside my PT exercises to get my knee back in shape. So thankful for the flexibility and the awesome coaches at SSP!

I’m thankful a friend referred me to SSP. It's turned out to be a great community with exceptional coaches! I've been attending PT sessions and classes for a year now, which is the longest I've ever consistently worked out. I’m seeing results, getting stronger and becoming more confident!

SSP has been a game-changer for me, both with my physical health and my excitement about going to the gym! I enjoy seeing familiar and new faces, the varied workouts, and seeing myself and others progress each week at SSP. I've seen huge improvements in how much I can lift, my endurance, and my favorite result - increasing my deadlift weight!

SSP has been so supportive and encouraging throughout my prenatal fitness journey. I really wanted to continue strength training throughout pregnancy and they have done an excellent job incorporating modifications so I can continue to train both safely and effectively. I feel strong in my body and I am grateful for the team's expertise in guiding me through my prenatal months. Thank you SSPQA; Baby V and I appreciate this wonderful community!

SSP has been a great way to build sustainable habits and routines into our schedules and has helped us combat the creeping bad habits of the pandemic. We really love how the coaches tailor the workouts to the audience and always seem to know just how hard to push each individual. The online scheduling helps keep us accountable as we’re both mortified by the idea of disappointing Chris and Allie!

Workout with Coach Chris is amazing. Been doing the Spartan workout series with him. He's a spartan certified coach and makes sure to structure his workout to help with both strength as well as conditioning.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a gym. SSP is not just a gym, its a community.

All the coaches are great and pay attention to details working with you and your personal goals.

Covid update : They make sure to keep masks on during workout. Enough space between stations. Outdoor workouts if you aren't comfortable inside. They have adapted to the situation very well to keep you safe and fit.

My training sessions with Chris have helped me feel better in my body after having twins last year, and improved my mood and outlook during the onslaught of 2020. I am feeling so strong now, which makes it easy to carry the babies and play actively with my preschooler. I do all virtual sessions, which are incredibly convenient and make it easy to stay consistent. I highly recommend SSP!

Quarantine was knocking me down over and over again until SSP helped me find the strength, in more ways than one, to get back up! I love working out with Chris, Allie, and the whole community - rain or shine, indoors or out! Thanks to SSP, I’ve not only felt stronger physically but have also been regaining a ton of mental clarity and motivation.

The staff is great - friendly, knowledgeable and will push you to work hard in a good way. Besides the pants fitting a little looser, my mind, body and soul feel 100% better.”

My favorite thing about working out with SSP is that I have a coach to help guide me through and push me to do my best. I've worked out in multiple gyms before and while I know my same basic routine, working with SSP has really pushed me to work out in ways that I couldn't do on my own. It's great having a customized plan for you to build off of, since starting about 2 months ago I have already made significant improvements, I have doubled the weights I'm using in all exercises and can see the muscle definition on my body. It also keeps me committed, since I have scheduled workouts I never miss them because it is much easier to blow off your personal gym workout than it is to skip out on your coach. Overall, I love SSP because it keeps me committed, I can see and feel the results and it is a very supportive team that keeps me motivated and even excited to work out.

SSP has the best coaches in Seattle. I've been working out at SSP for almost a year now with Chris, and it's been a great experience. All the coaches are very supportive and friendly. This has been a great place to train and accomplish my fitness goals; perfect place for all fitness levels. The gym is very nice and clean, and the equipment is very new. And of course, the best feature is the sense of community you get from the other members and trainers.

Chris has been real good for me. He comes ready for the sessions and pushes me to get through my workouts in an intense manner. I love working out with him as my coach. I would recommend others who need real motivation to give him a try.

Been working out at SSP for over a year and enjoyed every minute. Chris Travis is an exceptional coach and knows how to assess his clients goals and then work towards achieving those. The new Queen Anne location is impeccably clean (as is the other location) and has brand new equipment which is exciting to be able to use essentially right out of the box. Training w/ Chris you can expect to be pushed to your limits to achieve results, but he also provides mental coaching for wherever you may be life, to help you achieve more. Whether you are a novice in the gym or a long time fitness fanatic, give training here a try and I don’t think you will look back.

Thank you Chris and the SSP fam for support and helping me to achieve my goals - Highly recommend!

SSP is one of the best fitness communities in Seattle. It’s so much more than a gym - it’s like a family who likes to work out together! The instructors are super knowledgeable, friendly, and really care about you! The classes are semi-private training which works great because you are learning something new every class and you get a lot of individual attention! I’ve been coming to SSP for the last year and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve taken for my fitness!
