South Island CrossFit, the only CrossFit affiliate on South Whidbey Island, provides small group fitness classes suitable for all. Our workouts combine elements of aerobic exercise, gymnastics, and weightlifting, aiming to enhance strength, endurance, mobility, and overall health. We have classes 7 days per week and offer affordable and flexible membership options. Children are welcome to hang out in the kids' area while parents workout! I’ve been taking classes at South Island CrossFit for three years, and it truly is the best hour of my day. The classes are organized and well structured. Coach Lindsey goes over the warmup and workouts, and demonstrates and explains all the movements, from scaled to Rx. She makes sure correct form is used, from beginners to seasoned crossfitters.
In addition to excellent coaching, we have great people working out, of all ages (I’m 62) and abilities. Everyone cheers each other on, and it’s so much fun to be in such a positive environment. It’s also family friendly, with a kids play area.
I highly recommend South Island CrossFit for anyone looking to get into the best shape of their lives!

I cannot say enough positive things about South Island CrossFit! From the moment I walked in, I felt completely welcomed. The environment is incredibly supportive—it's a "no judgment zone" where everyone, from total beginners to advanced athletes, is cheered on.
The coaches are phenomenal: knowledgeable, encouraging, and experts at scaling workouts so that everyone can participate effectively and safely, regardless of fitness level. They genuinely care about your goals and well-being.
The community here is a tight-knit family. Grinding through challenging workouts with such friendly people makes the hard work fun. The results I've seen in my strength, endurance, and overall health have been amazing, and coming here has truly become the best part of my day. South island CrossFit is wonderful! The folks that attend the classes are all super friendly and working out together and pushing each other is super helpful in keeping on top of it and staying pumped up. The owners Carlos and Lindsey really think about the experience of CrossFit and make it very enjoyable and welcoming! There is always an option for each and every person that attends so you never feel like the workout is too overwhelming. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would =)

I’m 67 years old and have been attending this Xfit gym for a while now — it’s been a game changer for me! The coaches are fantastic about helping you work at your own level while still challenging you to get stronger and stay active. The workouts are well-planned and can be scaled for any age or ability. The community is incredibly supportive, and you always feel welcome. Highly recommend this gym for anyone, especially older adults who want to stay fit and healthy in a fun, encouraging environment!

If you’re looking for a gym with a great community and awesome workouts then SIC is for you! As someone who had never tried a CrossFit class before, SIC has always felt comfortable and workouts can be scaled to your ability. Even in just a few months I feel so much stronger. I just joined SIC about a month ago and recently completed my 10th class. I had a base level of fitness but zero experience with Crossfit (or barbells!) prior to this. From day 1, I was welcomed in with open arms by both the coaches and the members. The atmosphere is infectious, the workouts are challenging, fun and varied. The gym is kept very clean and the equipment is in great shape. My only regret is I didn't try them out earlier! They truly welcome all fitness levels, so don't be afraid to try a class.

I stopped in South Island CrossFit while visiting family and had a good solid workout. I tried the CrossFit Gym in Langley recently and loved it. Class was well structured and when we finished the WOD a little early the owner took time to help anyone with whatever strength or mobility exercise they were working on. I’ll definitely be back!

In November 2020, at the age of 58, I walked into South Island CrossFit looking for a more aerobic workout to partner with my yoga practice. Coach Daniel put me through a basic routine to analyze where I was, then actively listened as I explained my fitness goals. I was so impressed by Coach D's professional yet compassionate demeanor, and the cleanliness of the gym & equipment, that I signed up that day for private sessions. Over the next seven months, Coach D helped me rebuild stamina, muscle mass, and regain range of motion, all of which I thought were lost. He never gave up on me, and on Memorial Day 2021, I participated in my first Murph. Words can't describe how wonderful and powerful I felt; it was better than when I finished my first half-marathon. It's changed my life, and my family loves having their happier, more energetic wife/mom/Nana back.

A friend of mine gave me a one day pass to South Island CrossFit and I have been hooked ever since. It is the perfect way to stay fit of get fit. Coach Daniel has many different classes that will allow all ages and fitness levels to participate. Classes are scheduled all times of the day and he has even customized some of the exercises to accommodate my physical limitations. I am a 65 year old "fitness freak" and if I can do this, you can too!! This is a local, young family owned business in Langley, WA., so whether it is a New Years resolution, a new beginning or a continuation of your fitness program, South Island CrossFit is the place to be.
