At Studio 45 every workout is fun, effective and efficient. The Studio 45 method is pilates-based, centered on high-intensity, low-impact movements on the megaformer. In classes of 11 people or less, we focus on giving you the most efficient workout possible in 45-minutes.
Our unique workout caters to a wide range of fitness levels. From beginners to advanced, you will always end class feeling successful and accomplished. Our classes are challenging, our instructors and members are the most welcoming you’ll find, and we guarantee you’ll see and feel transformation in your body in as little as 5 sessions.

Hardest workout I’ve experienced but got in noticeable better shape after 5 classes! I did the two week pass and it was well worth it. Very unique workout and the 45 minutes of high intensity go by fairly quickly because of the slow controlled movement and encouragement from instructors.

great lagree classes that really work your muscles. the workouts are intense and my muscles were shaking quite a bit. I definitely found a lot of my weak spots such as my obliques and upper core while I was attending classes. I love Crystal and Casey, super friendly and welcoming as well as knowledgeable about the workouts and form.

I've really enjoyed the Studio 45 classes in U District! I've been doing lagree for ~7 months now, and I would say that Studio 45 is great in terms of intensity -- it's something that I can still enjoy after work, but tough enough where I still feel the pilates shakes. Overall a great experience!

I really like the classes at Studio45. It’s always a good challenge and great workout. I’ve taken classes with three different instructors and have liked the style and encouragement from all of them. I am newer to lagree and reformer Pilates so the extra attention to my form to ensure I am being safe while getting the most effective workout is awesome. I just ordered a 10 pack of classes to keep coming back! Parking is free and super convenient as well!

I'm posting this review after (I think) 9 classes at Studio 45. I initially went to Studio 45 because I was looking for a place closer to my home. I was previously going to a Pilates place up North that did XFormer, which is a slightly different style of Pilates than Lagree, but I was very happy with the instructors there so I was worried about finding a new place. I've been very happy with the classes and quality of instructors at Studio 45. They are all experienced and all of them focus well on having good form and give good corrective feedback. Also, some of the classes reeeally kick my butt, in a good way. Super happy with Studio 45 so far.

I absolutely *adore* Studio 45! I've been to both Seattle locations and both are lovely, but I frequent UVillage the most. The facility itself is great - always feels clean, and I have enough space to not knock hands or feet with the folks next to me. I've been attending Christina's classes mostly, and she is WONDERFUL! She's so bright and positive, has fire playlists, and is quick to help you adjust if something isn't working for you. I've taken some private classes from her as well since I have back and neck issues, and she makes sure to check in with me so that I don't aggravate my injuries, and helps me understand how my form should feel. I highly recommend Studio 45!

I love studio45! This is hands down the best high-intensity Pilates studio in Seattle.
I have been consistently taking classes here 5+ days a week for going on three months, and I’m amazed how every single class continues to challenge me. I was curious if the workouts would be too similar day after day, but that is never the case. I am also amazed that each instructor is so great at what they do. Usually in these situations, there are one or two you like, and the others are mediocre. Not here - I sign up for the classes I want based on the times that work for me, not who the instructor is.
I have never been a fan of group exercise classes, but this studio has changed my mind. It’s VERY clean, everyone who works here is extremely kind and welcoming, and each class is filled with people of various levels so you don’t feel intimidated when you’re new to Reformer Pilates, or insecure if your body isn’t exactly where you want it to be (that will soon change if you consistently take these classes). Plus, at 45 minutes - this workout feels so manageable for the working person. Which makes it so much easier to be consistent with.
Could not recommend this place more. It’s not a cheap price tag (no reformer studio is) but this place is truly worth every penny.

What a workout! It is low impact but definitely a muscle burner. The instructors are great, the space is nice and clean, and there is free parking either on the street or in the Corydon parking garage. I have noticed a difference going consistently. Remember to bring some grippy pilates socks or you can buy them in the studio.

The workouts at studio 45 are really good. If you're looking for a strong solid workout, this is absolutely the place. I would say if you're like me and you haven't done a lot of high intensity workouts in the past definitely take some yoga classes, maybe a few weeks before and build up some core strength. That way, you get the most out of the experience.

I spent the majority of last year recovering from an ACL surgery. I wanted to slowly easy into a low impact exercise to build back my strength - I'm so glad I discovered Studio45. Getting back into working out after a year hiatus mixed with never having tried pilates could've been really intimidating but the instructors at Studio45 immediately put me at ease. It's a challenging workout but you know you're building muscle - you feel it almost immediately. They help you make modifications and it's a great hands on, small class environment.

Studio 45 is my first experience with Lagree and I love it. I've been a dedicated lifter and runner for about 15 years and Lagree was still really challenging for me. I've tried yoga and Pilates but I prefer Lagree to those because Lagree is more intense. After about 4 classes I can see and feel a difference in my body. I'm not adding additional bulk, I'm leaning and lengthening out. All of the instructors are really nice, attentive, and help correct form or show modifications. Classes are small and fill up fast but the wait list usually opens up quick. Street parking is hit or miss but there is a small free parking garage.

I hate exercise but knew I needed to be active for my mental health & overall physical health so I thought I’d try a class. I heard about lagree, and because this studio is so close to me that reduces a barrier for me (to give myself the excuse of it being too far😅).
Instructors jump in to help your form, and often people are so focused on not dying (lol) I don’t feel judged when I’m struggling. It hurts but it feels like it goes by so fast because there are not transitions in between positions.
I can’t stop now, never thought I’d become this person but I’m sticking with it and excited to see it help me be healthier and stronger!

I've only taken 5 classes so far, but I feel like it's one of the best & most efficient workouts I've ever done! Be prepared for the learning curve to be pretty steep if you've never done pilates before. The teachers are welcoming and helpful though!
My one critique is how expensive it is. I understand, since the class size is so small and the machines are so specific, but I can't afford this *and* a normal gym membership, so I'll have to figure that out at some point.

Going to Pilates was the best decision of 2022. Give it a try and you won't regret it. I love everything about this studio except the $25 charge when you don't attend the class. I totally understand, they are trying to make sure you attend since there are only 10 spots available, but once in a while emergency happens and I think they should give at least one free-pass.

You will not find a better workout if you're looking to build lean muscle while staying low-impact. Yes, it's *very* hard at first, but there are always modifications and once you've built strength -- there are also always opportunities to push yourself. Studio 45 has incredible instructors, so listen to them. Go 2-4 times a week and you'll feel f*ing awesome.
Barre made me bored. CrossFit made me feel fully broken. Lagree at Studio 45 makes me feel like the low key superhero I wanna feel like.
Some more background: I've been doing Lagree for about 5 years now. 4 years in Los Angeles and then when I moved back to my hometown of Seattle (and the pandemic had subsided..), I joined Studio 45 at the 12/month membership and it's been fantastic. The studio is very well-run -- excellent instructors, lovely space.

I cannot express how much I hate working out and how hard it has been for me over the years to find something that worked for me and that I could keep up consistently. I am very new to Pilates. I had a back injury 6 months back and haven't been able to get back into my fitness routine since. My PT suggested I try Pilates to help build strength in my core and back. I just had my first 1:1 FaceTime coaching session with Jenna and let me tell you, 25 min was more than enough to get my shake on and get the sweat flying all over my living room. Jenna contacted me beforehand to check in on class times which would work, as well as figure out the type of flooring I have and any extra equipment I might have at home (note: all you need is you, and a spot the size of an exercise mat!). The routine she designed was awesome - the flow was great, she was able to correct my form, offer encouragement when I wanted to collapse on the mat, and lead me through the whole class just as if she was right there next to me. I finished feeling as strong, sore, and spent as if I had done a 45 min Megaformer class. Can't wait for our next session. So thankful for this option to keep the Studio 45 vibe around and continue the work I've done over the past year. 10/10 recommend!

The typical class at either location is half planks and half single leg work. There's little to no upper body work other than planks, and the only other ab-focussed work is plank variations that target obliques.
Glancing around the room, you'll notice most people struggling not because it's challenging, but because the spring weight for each exercise is always either not enough to support your low back or so heavy that you can't maintain appropriate form.
Having taken hundreds of widely varying pilates classes over the years, I don't understand paying upwards of $35/class for this inefficient workout. I paid $170+ for an unlimited discounted first month and was unable to go more that 3-4x/week due to wrist and low back pain. I previously attended lagree power reformer classes 6-7 days/week at my old gym and saw consistently positive results both in my physique and overall physical health without injury.

I had been suffering from a bulging disk for over a year. When I was finally able to work out again, my core was so weak that I could not do most workouts. Studio 45 was absolutely perfect to strengthen my entire body (especially my core) all while protecting my vulnerable back. I have been to 7 classes in the past 16 days and I am already so much stronger. My mid section is slimming down and my balance had greatly improved. The instructors have been so wonderful with providing feedback to ensure proper form and offering alternatives for the exercises that I’m still working up to.
