Tim is a great coach, his knowledge and experience have helped my golf game out tremendously. My consistency has increased so much. This is my 3rd year at TC Golf Academy. When I started with TC I had basic golf skill and very bad habits. I continue with TC because I have come a long way with my golf game. TC is patient, understanding and can watch me and knows just what needs to be tweaked with my technique.

Tim is a decent coach and did teach me a few things. I noticed my last few lessons, I just hit in his simulator and he didn't provide much feedback. I felt like I was consulting him on his You Tube channel because I had a successful one.

The reason for the 2 stars. Don't pay for anything in advance with Tim. He will say your "lessons have expired" or keep charging you a monthly "subscription" fee even though you don't go in. His reasoning is that it's like having a gym membership.

Well, Gyms have a lot of costs associated with keeping the doors open. Tim is a one man band that has to pay rent.

My main gripe is that my wife paid over $1000 for lessons in advance. She had some health issues and wasn't able to play for the last year. Moving forward to now..she wanted to have her son take those lessons and he said they "expired".

How does more than $1000 for golf lessons "expire". I guess at Tims place, they have a shelf life.

Don't pay too far in advance unless you want to potentially lose money due to "expiring".

I have enjoyed being coached by Tim for a few years now. His approach to coaching is both instructional and informative. He brings a practical approach to lessons building on strengths while correcting weaknesses. My success on the course is directly attributable to his expertise. I with I could give a six star Google review. This is the first instructor that has made a difference in my game.

I almost gave up on golf lessons because every time it was the same thing – they wanted to rebuild my swing regardless of what I was already doing right.

After getting a recommendation to TC Golf Academy I decided to take one more shot at lessons. I am so glad I did. Tim is a phenomenal instructor and I’ve really enjoyed working with him.
What do I like?

First off, Tim does not try to fit you into a “one size fits all” golf swing. He spends the first session digitally analyzing the swing. I was blown away to find out that I was doing a lot of things right.

Tim then when on to build a lesson plan that focused on correcting the 3 things that were creating inconsistency in my game
.
The result: I’ve shaved 10 strokes off my game in 12 months and am confident I can get another 5 off this year.

MOST IMPORTANT: I feel confident when I go out and am having fun.
I highly recommend TC Golf Academy.

I think it’s a huge value for the improvement you get in your game.
