Classes are ok. Overly humid in my opinion, they really pack you in there. I signed up for a 10 classes for 45 day special and tried to take some of the online at home classes but the instructor never logged in. I've tried to text them call them and email them and I never got a reply back. So the last time I went there in person I asked about it and asked if I could be credited for the two classes. The guy at the desk said he would do that for me. (Irritated I had to ask instead of him offering it.)
Today I log in and of course I wasn't credited.
I think the most frustrating part is the lack of customer service. It says to text and you get a response and I don't get a response I've tried to call, I left messages, I email, and nothing.
If you want any response from them you have to go there in person.

I've been coming to this studio for almost 5 years now. The instructors just keep getting better over the years. They have fun and interesting sequences that progress logically from less difficult to more challenging poses over the course of the class. The environment is very welcoming and relaxing. And on top of that, there is a huge parking garage literally right next to it! I'll keep coming to this yoga studio for as long as I live in Seattle.

Great teachers and classes! Iβve tried many of their various classes and I love how each one is different in their practice. All the teachers are kind, open, friendly and watchful of their students to help us little yogis grow! They always have different variations of poses so you donβt feel left out or bad if you canβt get into a pose fully. Highly recommend Yin classes if you like to get a good stretch but still be very relaxed - itβs my favorite π§πΌββοΈ

Awesome hot yoga studio! The instructors are very knowledgeable, and add great variety to the classes. My personal favorite class is yoga flow. The only con is that occasionally the instructors let people after the session has started - which is distracting.

Been looking for a new yoga studio since I switched jobs earlier this year. After months of trying out different studios and not quite finding the right fit, I decided to drop into this one after reading the reviews. Loved it right away. Excellent classes and accessible to all levels. The instructors have been exceptional, knowledgeable, attentive, and egoless.
Signed up for their new student 1 month unlimited special and plan to enroll in their monthly unlimited plan.

The Seattle Yoga Lounge teaching style is by far my favorite that I've tried in Seattle and I've been doing yoga for 17 years now and I grew up in this area. I appreciate that they keep their classes unique, challenging- yet approachable and very satisfying in the fact that I always feel like it's an hour well spent and I've noticed great muscle tone from the classes that I haven't in others. Each instructor that I've had the pleasure to meet,Teddy, CJ, Elvis, Caitlin, Josh and others have all been tremendously encouraging and fully engaged. Yes, each class is packed, but that is to be expected when you offer something great.

With working hard with patients every day and spending time in difficult postures, the core strength and stretching I get from hot yoga is essential. SYL has fantastic instructors who will patiently teach you the practice of yoga.

I always feel like class goes by so fast at SYL. They truly have great instructors! They also give you a lavender soaked towel at the end of class. Amazing.

I have been taking classes at Seattle Yoga Lounge for about a year now and they have really helped me increase my mobility and core strength. Being a rock climber and a personal trainer, this is especially helpful! I highly recommend Seattle Yoga Lounge to all my clients and anyone who wants to improve their performance as an athlete!

I like the classes a lot! Actual yoga space is great, cool mood lighting and fun instructors. The reason it gets a 4 star is because the space is small for the number of students the location attracts, and if you're claustrophobic it isn't fun to be there between classes in the evening. My advice - invest in a larger space.

The poses and routines are challenging and effective. The T-band stretch pose and twist/swivel poses are intense....but felt so good! Keep up the great work!

Very much a novice to yoga. Each other time I have tried it wasn't clicking. Fourth time in three weeks, the staff is friendly, the community is kind, and my body is feeling great. I would recommend experience.

I adore this studio!
I am not a former gymnast or a long term yogi. I am a middle age woman who appreciates that balance and flexibility play a big part in remaining active and healthy. The teachers at this studio are knowledgeable, encouraging, and incredibly kind. Everyone is welcome, almost every pose has a more advanced option making the classes perfect for all levels. I'm partial to the 9:30 am classes, they're not as crowded as the evening classes and a wonderful way to start the day. Last year the studio changed hands, hence the new name. If you attended classes years ago it's worth checking out again. Free parking makes this treasure even better.

SYL is the best and most challenging studio in Seattle. The place keeps me coming back for more and more. Elvis the owner and instructor knows how to challenge and motivate his students. He provides excellent intensification and modification options for most poses . This is a heated studio, so if HOT yoga is not your thing you probably won't like SYL.

Clean studio. They even give a lavender scented cold towel at the end of each hot yoga session. Only con is that there is only one toilet and one shower available.

The Teacher and the front desk person were very rude. I was wearing a heart Monitor during class and also filled out paperwork before hand stating my condition. And was frowned upon during class saying i shouldn't bring a phone into class. My monitor only beeped twice which was barely distracting. If the instructor asked me before class instead of talking to students in the front row then maybe she would have been aware of my medical equipment.

I am new to the area and have been trying yoga studios in Fremont, Wallingford, and Greenlake to find the right fit. This is by far the best studio. The instructors are wonderful, their facilities are clean and sanitary and the flow is wonderful. Their classes meet the needs of beginners to yogis. There are only a few minor issues; the studio is VERY small and does not lend itself to a swan dive, which I love, and they have not initiated any sort of "rule" about late arrivers. Every studio I have been to locks the door when the class begins so that students who are already in poses do not have to re-arrange their mats to make room for one more. There are also many people who leave early, which is disruptive to the class and disrespectful to the instructor. These are small issues comparatively to the bigger picture, which is, this studio creates a peaceful and inviting energy!
