Love Transform! I have been training here for a little over two years now and can honestly say that it is always the highlight of my day to throw down some fitness at Transform. The gym is always clean, equipment is updated and suitable for more demanding workouts/training and the staff and members are a joy to be around. It's a great community, not just a gym.

I attended classes at Transform Fitness for about a year and I have nothing to say but good things. All the coaches were inclusive and inviting. Nobody feels judged for the level they are at. Coach Ben did my on ramp training and he did an excellent job in making sure I was ready for the classes to avoid any injury while boosting my confidence to show up. Even after the program he always stayed attentive and always encouraged me to try things that I was not confident in, such as wall handstand and wall walks. All the coaches were very personable and they remember your names. It’s really the small things that matter that makes it feel like a community. Keith, who always has a great sense of humor (and will always say hi to you), always gave great advice and really cared about every individual’s progress towards a certain technique. He really put in a lot of attention in helping me get my first kipping pull-up. And coach Marita always cared about injury prevention and took great consideration in evaluating everyone’s form. I truly enjoyed my experience here.

Recovery Beyond is a non-profit organization that provides outdoor activities, fitness classes and adventures for people in recovery from substance (alcohol and/or drug) use. We partnered with Transform Fitness to hold a boot camp style class for our members. Jaime (the owner) has been amazing to work with since the moment we approached him with the idea. He has been so gracious, accommodating and willing to help us.

I signed up for the onboarding program with Ben, which included 5 sessions to focus on learning techniques for specific lifts, and also included short metabolic conditioning workouts. These sessions were very helpful because Ben was excellent at providing me with great tips for improving my techniques, and it was nice to see how the group classes would be run. I recommend anyone interested in joining group classes, or wanting to improve their techniques, sign up for these sessions.

My son wanted one on one training, we tried another place but it wasn’t a good fit. He ended up trying Transform Fitness and trained with Jamie. He was such a great fit for my son. Not only did he enjoy going to his workouts but he gained a lot besides strength. He gained a lot of self confidence, endurance and stamina, which made him feel better all around, which made him make better choices. My son is feeling happier. I’m very pleased with the results and would totally recommend Jamie and Transform Fitness!

Wish I could write a glowing review of this gym, but I unfortunately I cannot. I was a little over a month in on being new at this gym, and really liking it when I got injured (and was also pregnant). I reached out immediately to Jaime and let him know that I understand the remaining few weeks of the month I already paid for I wasn’t going to get back, but if he could make an exception for pausing the next month until my back is better and I’m cleared by PT. Jaime was not understanding of my situation at all, and would not make an exception for me. Disappointing for sure. Lost a potential long time customer and others as well (me recommending this place to others). Not the way I would want my gym community treating me while I am injured and pregnant. No empathy or compassion. Poor customer service. So if you are thinking of joining this gym, hopefully you don’t get injured or you make a lot of money and don’t care that Jaime will continue to bill you for the next month, even if you cannot use the gym.

Thanks for the reply, funny that now you seem to care and want to work with me only after I have posted a poor review. You called and emailed me explaining the agreement I had signed, which I was fully aware of, and I was seeking an exception for, which you were not willing to make. I do not plan on working this out with you, I want a better gym community than this. I could have just gone to a LA fitness if I wanted this kind of customer care. Was hoping for way more understanding from a private gym that I had just newly joined that markets itself as such a positive family-like community. I did not experience this. It felt like I was just any other gym member paying my dues. I do not take first impressions lightly, nor should anyone else, and for this reason good luck but I do not have any intention of coming back here. Hopefully you will learn from this and treat other members better. Take care.

Joined this gym a year ago now. I had done some form of cross fit for years but since moving back to Seattle had not found a home gym yet. Happened by this place and thought why not.

best choice ever for multiple reasons.
1. Kind friendly people answered questions took time to ask and listen to my fitness goals etc. The owner is just a nice guy.
2. TOP NOTCH I mean TOP NOTCH coaching. My favorite is Marita but they have all been good. These guys pay attention to what you are doing. If you know about CrossFit then you know bad form=injury and more. Marita is exceptional approachable kneadable funny encouraging she pays attention to the details. Meets you at your level and helps you grow. I can't say enough.
3. Community; amazing members that support laugh heckle encourage all of the above each other. We show up for ourselves and each other and are truly friends. I have definitely met amazing women here who I am happy to say will be life long friends.

If you are looking come try it out. You will not be disappointed.

Transform Fitness is a great place to workout with a great community to help support each other! My favorite thing about this gym is that their primary goal really is to help people move. Wether you are looking to be pushed to perform at your best, are just learning to move in the first place, or are recovering from an injury, they are prepared to meet people where they are at.

I’ve been going to Transform Fitness since September 2022 for personal training sessions with coach Jaime.

I have never trained before, had no idea where to even start and was out of shape when I signed up after doing a lot of research of gyms in the area. I’m so happy I found them! The facility is always clean and my sessions are private since it’s outside of class hours so it’s just me and Jaime during this time. This was a plus for me since I was so intimidated by the thought of training and looking like a fool in front of other people. I also love that the workouts we do aren’t highly complicated (like the ones you’d see on social media) but still leave me sore the next day (in the best way possible) and that I don’t have to plan my workouts!

I’m really proud of the progress that we’ve made so far and I’ve built a lot of self-confidence. My schedule fluctuated during the first couple of months and I have only just started to see him regularly two times a week so I wasn’t expecting to see/feel much of a difference. But after a recent hike I anticipated to be very challenging (5 miles, 2300 ft), I realized that the sessions we’ve done really made a difference because the hike was surprisingly easy. I never thought I would actually enjoy a hike before I started training with Jaime. I also realized that all of the pains I felt doing everyday activities such as carrying a heavy grocery bag wasn’t painful any more.

I really appreciate the patience and support!! I highly recommend Transform Fitness and am so excited to continue my fitness journey here!

During the busiest parts of my ski and mountain bike seasons, I come to Transform workouts to maintain strength, flexibility, and muscle memory. It's just choosing whether fitness is a priority or not. Transform Fitness won my trust as a gym that will stick around in good times and through the bad times.  When the COVID lock down first hit locally, they immediately went to great lengths to help members keep up their fitness through multiple virtual outreaches. Now its the fitness community there that is the long term motivator. There are lots of long time members that truly care about each others' fitness. They show up for class times. I dropped in for a trial workout with Jaime. I joined in with the group who were in their 5th out of 9 week program and it was a great experience. A legit gym with workout plans for all members, not just CrossFit.

As a previous NCAA athlete, I've been around plenty of gyms and wannabe CrossFit joints, but Jaime (the main coach) has done a great job of making you feel comfortable here whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting out. They take a wholistic approach to fitness so it’s not just CrossFit or heavy lifting but a combo of everything that provides for healthy, sustainable workouts.

Members are also very nice and cheer you on. I was only visiting the area, but if I lived here I would definitely choose this gym over CrossFit Issaquah or the 425 gym.

Jaime is the best weightlifting coach I've ever worked with. Thanks to his methodical break-down of movements and super effective warm-ups, I am now able to perform snatches well when those used to be unstable and uncomfortable. I wanted to try a crossfit workout for the first time, but I was a little intimidated because I wasn't in shape and I'm very petite. After the first day, I knew I had found what I was looking for! I could tell right away that the coaches understood what I wanted and they were dedicated to helping me achieve my fitness goals. I moved here at the end of May mid pandemic and was apprehensive about trying to find a new box that could match the community, coach engagement, and inclusivity of my previous gym. Transform, it’s coaches, and all the members I’ve had the pleasure of meeting have far surpassed my expectations.

First, I have to say how much I admire all the work put in to maintain this space during the pandemic. It speaks volumes to Jaime and the Team’s organization and commitment. The continuous improvements to the space are keeping it clean, accessible and safe to use.

Next, what I find really important is that the coaches all engage with you on a personal level. Since my first day, they all remembered things about me and never fail to ask me about my other hobbies. They stress correct form and are able to give great cues to help you get better. I also have certain limitations in the movements I am able to perform and the coaches always take note of that and suggest alternative exercises.

Lastly, I love how supportive and fun the community is! Everyone comes in at a different level and with different goals and skills but everyone is equally sweaty and tired in the end. People here are so so encouraging and the cheering, air high-fives and air fist bumps take at least a little of the mid- and post- WOD pain away :D

I've been a member of this gym for almost four months now. From the moment you first walk in the door you are greeted warmly and enthusiastically by both the coaches and its members. The trainers I’ve met are welcoming and helpful and are highly experienced and possess good qualifications beyond their CrossFit certifications. All of the movements are scalable, so even someone just starting out can work out alongside someone who has done it for year and both people will get an awesome workout. Our entire CrossFit experience can be adjusted to whatever fitness level you’re currently at. I always leave this place feeling better than when I walked in. After a poor first experience with CrossFit at another gym, I met with Jaime and was very impressed. He pulled a bench from the gym into the lobby and sat with me for a full 30 minutes asking me what I wanted to accomplish and what my previous experience was. We discussed memberships and courses, at length, and decided that we would start me off with their ONE WEEK free trial! Then, at the end of the week I could start the Fundamentals course to really dig into the meat of CrossFit. The Fundamentals course is a bit hefty in price, but adding a second person is only a little bit more, so if you split the total cost between two, it's fairly affordable. I left that day without working out at all due to the pain from the afformentioned poor first experience at the different gym. Box, I need to remember it's a "box" not a "gym".

Anyway, I returned four days later with my best friend to begin the one week free trial. While waiting for my friend to arrive, I chatted with Jaime some more. You can tell he has a deep passion for CrossFit and for teaching others about it. When my friend arrived, Jaime introduced us to coach Tim, who is fun, energetic and kind of goofy in a great way. I'm a goofball, myself, so to see fellow lighthearted people teaching CrossFit is great! Tim was very helpful in breaking down each warm up and each exercise of the Diane WOD (Workout Of the Day) which consisted of deadlifts, pushups, and bear crawls (actually handstand pushups and handstand walks, but he scaled it to regular pushups and besrcrawls for us laymen). He was great at paying close attention to us while also splitting his attention with the rest of the group. At one point he showed us how to foam roll while still calling starts and stops on the timer. The attention and level of care we received made the workouts far less intimidating and made us feel confident in our ability to complete them. Jaime and Tim, thank you! You've handed me a very delicious cup of Kool-Aid to drink and now I want a pitcher. I can't wait for the beginner's soreness to fade so I can go back for another class.

Final thoughts: I feel I've seen both ends of the spectrum with CrossFit. My first ever experience was with a coach who didn't much care and gave me far more than I should have tried while not paying near enough attention to whether or not I was consistent in my technique. Then Jaime and Tim showed me what CrossFit SHOULD be like for a beginner and have me hooked! I have been lazy, sedentary, and completely avoidant of any kind of fitness for my entire 32 years of life and now I am actually looking forward to the next WOD. Transform CrossFit is my go-to box and I would recommend it to my 68 year-old father or my 18 year-old athlete nephew.

I love this place. I immediately felt welcome on my first day and it's become something I look forward to on a daily basis. The community is friendly and you are quickly known by name. **Fantastic Crossfit Gym for New & Experienced Crossfitters!**

I joined Transform about 6 months ago as a newbie. I'd been to a Crossfit once before from a groupon deal and didn't have a great experience. This time was totally different. Coach Jaime walked me through everything, set me up with a foundations course to make sure I would be performing all movements correctly, and the other members of the gym were immediately welcoming and encouraging. Coach Jaime is a fantastic leader at the gym. As someone who is physically active but a beginner to CrossFit, I dropped in on a few classes while visiting from out of town; classes were physically challenging and demanding, but also supportive and instructive from a community and coaching perspective.

Coach Jaime and regulars easily made you feel welcomed at the gym. Additionally, we tackled rope climbing during one of my training sessions and a few of us were new to the drill. Coach Jaime made sure we were properly trained before the workout and ensured safety for me and the rest of the members throughout the course of the workout (all while pushing us to give our best).
