Canceled four months ago by chance checked bank and saw was still getting charged. Went in to cancel again two days later got charged again (fine print says they will withdraw membership 30 days after cancelation). Wasn't looking for a refund just wanted an explanation. Manager was super rude.

Very good gym if you are into bodybuilding, best hack squat machine I ever used, very old school gym with some good hammerstrength machines for chest and back, and plenty of cardio machines as well.

5/10/25 Continues to have issues with maintaining the facility and equipment. Broken sinks, cable machines, and sauna. Jess is great.
Not a horrible gym, but it needs work. Loaded with equipment, however, most goes unused(8x stride machines - why?). Lack of popular equipment (one adjustable bench on each floor, only one power rack). If you’re not overly concerned about routines and availability of machines, then this gym will suit your needs. Anything else, you may be better off looking somewhere else.

This gym seemed cool but they don’t allow you to do even a free day trial to see what it’s like. Anytime offers a free week.

Horrible gym! Take your business else where!! Never open. Never consistent hours. Also charged me after being told on the phone I wasn’t going to be charged and to come and cancel with no problem. Then immediately got charged. I called to ask why and got hung up on. Absolutely unprofessional. I see why they are never busy and only have elderly working out there. Or because they are NEVER OPEN or closed by 3pm.
Maybe get some workers who are actually passionate about health, working out and have customer service.

Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious. Tons of equipment. Pool. And best of all NOT crowded. Plenty of machines to use with very little (if any) wait time.

Seniors beware. Was searching for something on the par of Stillaguamish gym in Smokey Point where I used to go....but I guess this place is not interested in new senior clients. I called to inquire if they took United Health/Medicare for Seniors & received a flat NO.
I then called United Health who was quite surprised, & they arranged a conference call...asking the same question. Did they take Medicare? The front desk lady backpeddaled saying well 'she (meaning me)said blah blah' & I interrupted basically correcting her misstatements about our conversation. .. It seems they DO take Medicare. However even then, my experience in the phone conference with the lady at True Grit was so unwelcoming & negative that I took my business elsewhere.

Bought a 3 month membership since the gym was close by. Had to move and my new place is about 50 miles away. Tried to cancel the remaining two months but they said they couldn’t. Even Gold’s Gym isn’t that ridiculous. Avoid this place. Go anywhere else.
