The most experienced and compassionate staff I have seen compiled into one studio. They actually teach Yoga and not just exercise movements. A much needed place of peace in such a crazy world.

I have been attending classes at Tuladhara Yoga since 2017. Over the years I have found this place to be welcoming, respectful, embracing of our differences, incredibly professional and friendly. All teachers are amazing, share their unique practices and style making every class different and dynamic. There are classes to fulfill every desire and physical capabilities from intro level classes to the most challenging flow classes. Never practiced in your life? no problem, feel confident that the instructors will make sure you have a wonderful experience and want to return for more.

I went when I was pregnant and they were so kind and patient with me (I am definitely not a yoga person) but I felt amazing after minus the 9 month old baby in me… trust me, you will have an amazing time with any teacher or location!

I have attended a variety of classes at the Tuladhara Lakewood location. They have class offerings to suit every body and experience level. If you want a great workout with solid technique instruction I highly recommend Leslie's Vinyasa class. I also really enjoy Alicia's Hatha Flow which is a great balance of vinyasa at the beginning and a hatha cool down at the end.

Tuladhara yoga studio is a beautiful, clean, and inviting space. It is easy to relax and really focus on your practice without distractions and it doesn’t feel intimidating even if you haven’t done yoga in a long time. The owner and staff are also very kind and knowledgeable. Their prices aren’t outrageous and they often have a community class at a lower rate which make attending more accessible for the community. I definitely recommend!

Absolutely wonderful yoga studio. I've visited the Lakewood location the space is open, inviting and serene. I have taken classes with multiple teachers and they have all been fantastic! The space is set up for covid safety and they have plenty of air flow, space and sanitation, so thrilled to have a safe space to yoga again! Thank you for this amazing space and classes!

Great yoga community. Truly appreciate the efforts Alisha has made to ensure that community connection continues by offering streaming classes.
The ability to "meet on the mat" is invaluable to me at this time.

Best yoga in town - by far!! The environment is welcoming for all and it is clean and tidy. All teachers are wonderful & have their unique style of teaching. I tell all my friends to come to Tuladhara, if they are brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years. All levels are welcome.

I cannot recommend the classes and teachers at Tula enough! I discovered this amazingly connected community and immediately felt welcome. My second class ever at the studio, Alicia (the owner) greeted me personally and introduced herself, noticing that I was a new face. The Tula staff does a fantastic job of connecting with each and every person that walks into the studio. I have met so many incredible humans through Tula – teachers and students alike. I'm so proud to now be a part of the teaching kula :)

I have been a member of Tuladhara since it opened. Having practiced yoga for just over 10 years, I can honestly say that since joining Tuladhara my practice has grown and improved more than I could have imagined. I’ve learned to break many bad habits that I didn’t even know I had. The instructors get to know you by name from day one. They are professional, kind, funny, and show genuine interest in teaching you proper form to avoid injuries and in your progress. The class types and schedule offer something for everyone and there’s always a variety of workshops available. I highly recommend Tuladhara. Hands-down the best yoga studio around!

Tuladhara Yoga is a warm and welcoming yoga studio. I had never practiced yoga in my life before coming to Tuladhara several years ago. I was a bit apprehensive at first as I didn't know what to expect. The teachers are all caring and nonjudgmental. It doesn't matter your level or years of experience. They are willing to help you at any stage of your practice or more importantly give you your personal space if that is what you need on any given day. I highly recommend Tuladhara especially if you are new to yoga or want to give it a try for the very first time. Don't wait. It is a good way to work out without the pounding on your joints of traditional methods of exercise. It's cleansing for both your mind and body!

If you're looking to de-stress or get some exercise in, this place is the one. I have a student membership and I love going to YinYang Yoga on Saturdays and Sundays and Restful Reset on Fridays. Sometimes I go to special events like essential oil workshops.
Props like mats, blankets, and blocks are provided. One of my favorite things is that they have assist chips which you can flip over to the assist or no-hands on assist side, depending on how you feel. It assures me that my consent is valued and that I am respected.
Also, the community here is amazing. I always feel welcome: before, after, and during class.
I feel a lot more calm and put together after doing yoga here. Give this a try!

What an amazing environment Tuladhara Yoga has to offer! The diverse classes and experienced teachers keep bringing me back. Depending on my day or energy level I can always find a class or workshop right for me. If I didn't live 10 hours away I would be a regular! But I'm thankful to have Tula when I visit my family in the Lakewood/South Sound area. Cheers!

I've practiced yoga on and off for several years and I've taken classes from Laura before but her Expanding Levels Vinyasa on Tuesday at 7:15 really challenged me in a good way. The playlist was dope, she was funny and engaging, and she has a highly curated practice. Nothing was too intimidating. It was nice trying something new to learn and lean into for my own practice.

Def worth checking her out!

This is a great studio that is warm and welcoming. It's always nice to find a place where you can fit it. Not all of the teachers are my cup of tea, but that's to be expected. Great deals and a fair and friendly staff.

Each Instructor has a particular approach that is very valuable.
All well trained and committed. Casey lives Yoga and approaches it with a very thoughtful and calming way that helps with final meditation practice. Kat is a great instructor very knowledgeable and provides solutions for body type accomodations. Her enthusiasm is sincere and helps with motivating change. Her beginners class is a must. Sona's evening classes are methodical and she as well ties in the emotioal aspect of yoga in a very thoughtful way. Liz ended one of the classes during the mediation portion with fragrance to help with the final moments of calmnes. I wish she gave more evening classes. Kara offered a substitute friday class, I wish she too offered more evening classes, she integrated the spirit of Yoga into the practice in a very creative way. The front staff are great and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I have found Tudlahara to have assisted with my growth in the practice of yoga. I can not say enough for this studio the qualityh and price is great- five stars for sure. I only feedback I wish music for meditation included more gongs to promote silence as opposed to background music that can be distracting. Ror others this might not be a concern

Great studio. I have experienced classes lead by 3 of thier instructors. All of which have been incredible. Leslie's class is intense, great pace and she pushes you to test limits while listening to your body. Laura is awesome and is great with teaching new poses and guiding students through her flow. Kyra was also incredible and motivating.
The studio and its staff are very inviting. Memberships are a great price as well

I took a class with Casey and I liked her. She talked about what she learned from reading the "Science of Yoga" and I appreciated that she was focused on the reality of yoga rather than the myths. The space is pretty but it was just too bright for me for yoga so this studio wouldn't work for me long term. I didn't use the showers but it's awesome that they have them.
