I never thought I would love going to a gym! I felt so awkward going to my first class that I almost bailed, but as soon as I got there Amanda and the other students made me feel right at home. Amanda is great at offering tips to improve during sets, modifying exercises for different students' needs, and creating a fun and encouraging gym environment. I look forward to classes and I can tell my fitness has improved a lot in the last six months.

I got referred to this gym, and I was absolutely terrified coming in on my first day. I was so unhealthy and so weak. Untamed Fitness welcomed me with open arms. They never judged me....they just encouraged me, challenged me, and continue to do so. I am starting to feel healthy and strong! I see Sydnee every week, and it is honestly such a highlight of my day/week! She makes working out, sweating and challenging myself FUN!

I was hoping to find a female personal trainer and was lucky to find Untamed Fitness a month ago. I am totally new to strength training and have found everyone to be welcoming and kind. I train twice a week with Sydnee (one on one) and love her upbeat personality. She’s motivating, fun to talk to, and very patient with me as I try to learn all the moves. I look forward to my workouts and am already feeling stronger. I highly recommend this gym!

It’s a new gym, but it’s an amazing gym. Very knowledgeable kickboxing teacher highly recommended to anybody. I’ve studied traditional martial arts, current kickboxing, jujutsu, submission wrestling, and I can say this coach is legit. They know what they’re talking about and I learned a lot, I would highly recommend this place for anybody wanting to learn striking at any level for either competition or self-defense, a great place to learn.

Amanda does an excellent job taking into consideration types of exercises you do or do not like and provides variations based on preferences and availability of equipment! In addition to providing uniquely tailored programs, she’s also provided with me advice ranging from nutrition, eating healthy, and energy preservation before and during workouts to ensure I am maximizing my workouts.

I have been working out with Amanda before I got pregnant to get my body strong, I kept workout out with her during pregnancy till week 28 it helped me stay strong and not gaining so much weight, now I have given birth I went back to working out with her and I can’t weight to get my body back! She is amazing, fun, and helpful! And the most important thing she never push is you to buy classes like trainers that I worked out with before! This was such an amazing experience, I simply had to share with all of you!
I was lucky enough to be introduced to this website and to get Amanda Buckner, the owner and developer of this website, as my personal trainer! As I had never “gone to the gym” or participated in any sort of exercise routines in the CJ past, I was very impressed with this experience.
Our first meeting, Amanda talked to me one-to-one, face-to-face, via Sypke. 😊. I was able to point out my areas of concern on my body so she could create my personalized exercise routines to help me meet my goals. Now, as Amanda is based in Washington state on the West Coast, and I am in Massachusetts on the East Coast, you would think it would be very hard to have a personal trainer so far away! However , with the face to face meetings via Skype or FaceTime, it is awesome to have her right in my living room. Plus she schedules our meetings around my time zone and availability, regardless of the 3-hour difference! Another plus, as winter weather is approaching New England, I do not have to drive to a gym in stormy weather - I just make an appointment, and she magically appears in my workout room.
Another impressive activity: there was an exercise that Amanda had suggested I perform to work on my flexibility. After a few attempts, I advised her that I could not do that stretching exercise correctly because it was causing pain from a past injury. Instead of continuing to make me do that exercise, she was able to substitute different routines that produced the same results without causing the pain.
I hope you all try out this new way of “going to the gym”!!! Trust me – you will not be disappointed.
