I want to give a shout-out to Mike in the pro shop. He is so kind to all! I really appreciate how kind he is to my young sons who have the 'golf bug' this year. Thank you for welcoming and encouraging youth to love the game of golf. Being greeted by whoever is behind the front desk at a course can make or break ones experience!

As well taken care of as it can be. The fairways had dead spots. All the fairways were hard and fast, greens were fast. You can tell a lot of new golfers golf there, from the lack of bunkers, being raked and pitch marks left on the greens. The staff is very nice and friendly. It's definitely not a four star resort, but it is a good value and would probably be in better shape in the spring.

Mid August. What a sad state this course is in. The fairways are in horrible condition, dead grass in most places, hard pan dirt in others. I couldn't possibly recommend playing here. It's almost like they're trying to kill the course on purpose to build more houses.... Whoever is managing this course needs to be fired.

Really enjoyed playing here. Greens were in great shape. A couple fairways were brown in some areas, but expected with the little rain received. Definitely recommend. Lost my Garmin z30 rangefinder today. Hopefully it gets found.

I was glad to see that the US Flag was finally replaced. I was surprised to see a ripped US Flag flying at a place that memorializes Veterans

This is an all-around great course! It has FREE putting greens to practice on, an affordable driving range and a very reasonably priced 18 holes. Itβs kept in pristine condition and the staff are really nice. 5 Stars

First time I played here. Course was ok. Kinda easy. Some of the greens were rough. The worst was the slow play. Almost 5 hours for a round with not a marshal in sight. When I finally got back to the club house they wanted to chastise me for hitting into the group in front of me. The closest my ball came to them was 80 yards. Just a bunch of old guys golfing slow.

I played this course many time before the new leasers took over and despite the challenges of keeping this course up I had a enjoyable round. This is never going to play like at top quality course understandably. We played the course yesterday and paid like it was on par with other course in the area βno questions askedβ around $50 and a $10 bucket of balls. 75β day, so on the 9th hole we called the clubhouse to order a couple hot dogs and drinksβ¦no answer. We played the hole and went inside to get our dogs etc. and the money taker is busy chatting with his buddy. We asked why the cafe wasnt open and were told that it wouldnt make them enough money to have it open. βIt wouldnt make $100 that dayβ. Our two man group would have spent around $70 alone, doesnt add up. It seems like the guy chatting could have sold a couple of beers etc. instead of doing nothing but chat. It is unreasonable to believe based on the amount of players on the course this would not payoff. Every course of this size had food and drink daily. Came away with the feeling that they just dont care. Its unfortunate. I wont go back againβ¦I would suggest you choose to spend your money elsewhere. Lots of good options in the area.

So Vets summer rates have now gone up to $49 for 18 holes and a cart is $19. Thought the LLC that took the course over said they wouldn't hike rates, but they've managed to continue to go up. It was 70Β° today and they didn't even have the kitchen open so you could grab a cold beer and a hot dog. Place is going down hill, but maybe I'm the only local that's noticed the decline! Oh ya the course looks pretty rough and why add a bunch of trees when in two months the course will be completely dried outπ€

Awesome course! Nice fairways and greens. Friendly folks in the club house and out on the course. The course is pretty forgiving which makes it enjoyable for all golfers at any skill level. I will say, the bunkers are quite large but luckily, I didnβt end up in any during my round. Overall it was a blast!! Itβs a pretty easy walk but some may want to go with a cart due to the topography and length of holes. For the price, you cant beat this place. I cant wait to play here again. Thanks Veterans Memorial Golf Course for the fun round!

Seems to be an issue with the driving range half the days of the week during the afternoon. I work full time so I have a small window to be able to practice in the afternoon from 4-6ish. Itβs the only outdoor public range within 50 miles and theyβre constantly out of range balls. Just looking to practice and sharpen my game but itβs impossible here on a consistent basis.

As a novice golfer from out of town I really enjoyed playing a quick 9 at Veterans. The course is definitely not too difficult, the pace was not too aggressive and everyone seemed generally friendly and easy-going. The clubs we rented were pretty beat up but they worked fine. The course is in ok shape but for the price it's hard to complain. Also it's a walkable from downtown! Would definitely return.

Fantastic experience start to finish. The front desk was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for our round (had my 2 yr old with me). The course was well maintained and the greens were wonderful. I will come back if Iβm ever golfing in the area.

It's great having a course like this in town and having it be affordable too. They could stand to do some repairs to the golf course routes and a few other things, but it's still a great course.

Was a decent course, greens were nice but super flat. Sand was more like dirt and if you were out of a fairway it wasn't the most pleasant.
Definitely got the vibe as a non-regular that we weren't welcome. There is no marshal ... and you can easily get behind a group that won't let you play through (like we did...it took us 2hrs 30min on the back 9)

This was the worst golfing experience I have ever had. Despite golfing at this location many times, I was denied access to the course. This was clearly gender-motivated given that the owner only talked to my male counterpart while I was there. If you are not a white cisgender man, do not go to this golf course. Additionally, nobody was wearing masks or following 6-foot guidelines. If I could give a 0-star review I would.

Not a bad course for a muni.... here are some shot of the back 9 holes but one of the biggest benefits of this is the Rv park (blue valley Rv park) you can walk up a small hill to get to the course. Kids had a tournament here and it was the perfect spot to stay at

Vets will always be one of my favorite places to play in W2. The driving range is off the charts, and the staff is the absolute best. Make sure to play here the next time you are in Walla Walla.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff welcome you to a picturesque, challenging but fun 18 hole experience. Two practice greens and a driving range are available for a full warm-up prior to your tee time. Rates are reasonable, greens are immaculate and the 19th hole is wonderful as well.

Well maintained course. Greens were in good condition april '18, rolled smooth and moderately fast for spring.
Marshall was proactive is getting groups through, giving good pace of play. 4 sets of tees make it playable for all. Nice staff and well maintained course.
Overall a good value. Would play again.

We just spent 7 days in Walla Walla,Wa at the Blue Valley RV Park located just below the golf course.
Golfed 4 times over that period , golf course in excellent shape and pleased to see the progress it has made over the past year.. Chris booked all of our Tee times prior to our arriving and they also let us take the carts to the RV Park to load our clubs... Super price, Super place.. ourselves, our friends from Vancouver, Wa and our Canadian friends will be back next year for a week of golf... Thanks for your hospitality....Hope the restaurant and deck are open next visit...
You guys rock...
