I'm not exactly a gym person, but I've been routinely attending Village Fitness for the past 6 months. It's fantastic. Every trainer is friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. While the 30-min group sessions are short enough to fit in my busy days, they are still rigorous enough that you definitely feel like you got a work out in. Maybe Village Fitness has showed me that I'm a gym person after all. Highly recommend.

I have been with Village Fitness for over a year now. I started during my prenatal fitness journey with my second baby. The coaches were knowledgeable and very accommodating during this time. I did PT and groupX throughout pregnancy and have stuck with groupX classes since. During my mat leave I was able to bring my sweet baby and still get my workout in! It was something I looked forward to every week. Now 1 year postpartum, I can certainly say I am so much stronger because of VF. This is such a wonderful community! No matter where you are in your fitness journey; this is a great place to get a workout in, it’s quick/efficient, and you have fun doing it with a lovely community!

Village Fitness is great! I’ve done group classes, personal training and the small group personal training. The coaches are all motivating, friendly and know how to deliver a great workout. I’ve learned so much about fitness and the different exercises and how to maintain form to work muscle groups and protect from injury. Over the course of my time working out with Village Fitness, I have witnessed my fitness level increase, I’ve become stronger and more confident in the gym, and I have more energy for daily life. The environment is very fun and I really enjoy the time I spend there. There is a welcoming and enthusiastic energy that has greeted me at the door since the moment I arrived for my first consultation, to the present day! My fitness goals (at 65+) may differ slightly, but are continually reinforced through the commitment, encouragement and positivity of all the amazing and dynamic trainers! Chris, the owner is always available to discuss a personalized fitness program and he offers delicious healthy recipes as well in the newsletter! Another factor that I like about Village Fitness is the variety of classes they offer, from individual, small group or larger group training with consistent times throughout the week. I love the fact that Village Fitness is for all adult ages, is close by and has a great neighborhood vibe! After 2 and a half years of training, I feel my body is in the best shape ever!!. I started coming to Village Fitness when it opened, looking for a place that was close, flexible, and motivating. I found all of that here—and so much more.
For me, bootcamp at Village Fitness has become the perfect way to enjoy the things I love with no guilt attached—freedom to eat, drink, and be happy while staying healthy.
What I’ve discovered is that my fitness journey isn’t about having hardcore workout goals or chasing milestones. For me, it’s about finding joy in the routine—whether it’s the pulse of the music, the energy of the trainers, or the camaraderie of the incredible people here. Moving my body every day feels less like a chore and more like a privilege.
Village Fitness isn’t just a gym to me; it’s a community. I don't feel like I have to be this turbo workout person to belong. And, I get out of it exactly what I put into it. It never gets easy because the stronger I get, the more I can do.

Shortly before COVID I joined Village Fitness because I needed something different. Orange Theory classes were OK, but sometimes felt like they dragged on way too long. I have a busy job, kids, dogs, and I cannot commit over an hour (arriving / get ready, stretch after) for those classes. I found Village Fitness did small group workouts and gave it a try, and I am very glad I did. Village Fitness has expanded its offerings now, but I do the 30 minute small group workout and it really kicks my butt. The trainers all seem like great people and there are many time options that should work with your schedule. The owner (Chris) is a stand up guy and you can tell he really cares.
If you're in the Magnolia area or even nearby neighborhoods, highly recommend to give it a try. It's located in downtown Magnolia, and so even if the parking lot is full there is plenty of nearby street parking no more than a block away.

As usual, it's the people that make a place exceptional. Owner Chris, and coaches Geramey, Zach, Katie, Suzanne, and Allison (last but not least!), are all a cut above.
After 2 years at VF I'm stronger, more stable and have better endurance. Classes vary enough to be challenging and fun across fitness levels.

I don't know that I have the proper words to do this place justice. Chris (the owner) literally changed my life. I have been working out with him for nearly 11 years as my 1:1 personal trainer. I started with Chris as a freshly divorced, almost 30 year old slave to corporate America, who finally wanted to take care of herself. And I did; I found the strongest, fittest version of myself! The decade that followed was a journey of highs and lows - 3 pregnancies/postpartum eras, weight gain and loss, a pandemic, and finally, a complete career switch to become a trainer and coach myself. Chris showed me my strengths (literally, how strong my muscles are AND the gifts that I bring to the team as a coach), and continues to push me to be the best Katie I can be. Obviously I credit him with a great deal of positive change in my life, but I also credit his entire coaching team with their commitment to each member who walks through the door at Village Fitness. Each coach brings their own gifts to the gym, and they have created an immensely supportive environment through their knowledge, enthusiasm, and contagious energy every single day. The culture and community at VF is next level, largely in part to the careful hiring, training and team focus in the gym. It's an honor to be coached by this crew AND work with them. The Village Fitness culture is unlike any gym I have been to before. The energy from the trainers and members will keep you returning to this truly judgment-free zone. At VF, there is the perfect balance between support and competition. Each trainer will push you to compete with yourself and find limits you may not have realized you had. No matter what your starting point is, this team is happy you show up to spend time investing in yourself. All the trainers know you by name, are professional yet friendly, welcome you with a smile, and help tailor each workout to your strength, endurance, and ability. Trainers provide form corrections and modifications for existing injuries and for difficult moves, to help you safely maximize your workout and have some fun while doing it!
This gym also focuses on the entire being, mind, body, and spirit. On top of HIIT classes, they offer FREE workshops for goal setting, mobility, stretching, yoga, boot camp, recipe recommendations, inspiration emails, etc. Booking workouts is simple and they have multiple time sessions to accommodate busy schedules. They are understanding and flexible to meet your needs no matter how much or little you can make it.
Allison is the jack of all trades, she leads one of the most high-energy HIIT classes but also switches gears to teach yoga and dance fitness (10/10 highly recommend going, so fun). Suzanne, as genuine as it gets, is always helping me perfect my form and teaching me how to slow down and focus on the movement, feel my body adjusting, and be patient with myself. I always see her checking in with clients about how they are doing and inviting feedback. Geramey always has you coming back for more even if it was just to pet his loyal fur baby and VF mascot. He is innovative, attentive to his clients, and creative with his workouts. His positivity, energy, and work ethic are inspirational. That leaves Chris. Talk about a leader. Chris leads by example, he is passionate about health and fitness, open-minded to what his trainers and clients suggest, and allows autonomy to implement strengths and maintain individuality. He is equal despite being a leader, you can find him next to you in class pushing himself and encouraging you to push yourself too. He is the definition of hardworking and his selection of trainers reflects the standards he holds his gym to-high. Ella helps run the front desk and always helps troubleshoot questions and helps things run smoothly. Everyone from trainers to members will leave a positive impression on you, I am so thankful I found this place to help me get back into being active with the bonus of becoming a member of a unique local community.

I was only able to use Village Fitness for a short time due to my family moving, and was sad to have to leave a gym that felt perfect for me. I signed up for the small group training and always felt that the instructors were working with me to make the class meet my skills and physical ability. The classes had the right amount of pressure; enough to keep me pushing through the workout, but not too much that I felt overwhelmed.
