Played 18 holes on Nov 28, 2025. Weather was great for this time of year. Sunny with little to no wind. Whidbey Golf plays very well. You still gets some roll in the fairways and the greens are holding well. Great day at Whidbey Golf.

The course played well with the rain. Drainage on Whidbey golf course is excellent. The greens imparticular held nicely. No standing water or spongy fairways. My only dislike are the tee boxes. The tee boxes feel like an after thought. They are not level or well manicured unlike the rest of the course.
It was nice to see Jordan's smiling face in the pro shop, which always brightens the day.

Course was in great shape. Played in some tough wind and rain. Greens were rolling pure. Had the AMAZING Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich in the restaurant, which is always so good! Hand cut fries are as good as you can find. Service is always exceptional. Great course, great food, and great company. What more can you ask for!

Played in the Annual Glow Ball tournament last night. The layout of the course was amazing. I had played in a few glow ball tourneys in the past, but this was way better, and great care was taken to ensure fun and safety on a very dark night. Thanks.

Last night was the last Men's Club gathering of the season, and it was terrific. We played Glowball with lighted golf balls and lighted fairways that looked like runways from the tee box. There was dinner beforehand and drinks afterward during the awards portion of the evening. All men are welcome to join. I want to personally thank Roger Pierce and Rich Rosenburg for doing such a great job putting the Men's Club events on all year and to Club President John Geragotelis for providing the Glowball supplies and instructions on setting up the course and playing. We had a great time and no one ran their cart into a tree or into the water hazards.

I first came to this course as a visitor and fell in love with it! I started playing here at the beginning of this year in January of 2026 when we moved back to Whidbey. As a newer player it's is challenging but fun! Nick & Jordan are amazing staff and we are excited for them to become PGA professionals. The bar & restaurant staff are wonderful as well. The chef creates incredible food and the food on the turn is wonderful and reasonable. My golf game has improved but I look forward to getting lessons and doing more clinics in the future. I highly recommend this course to all players regardless of your level. The players are all welcoming. This is a friendly and fun course! I love being a member here and look forward to welcoming new people 😊

I played a round there this Monday with one of the members, Kyle S. and had a great time! The course was in good shape, and everyone on staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. If you get an opportunity to play at Whidbey Island Golf Club, don’t hesitate to do it! The layout was challenging but fair and whether you are a beginner or someone who plays all the time you’ll find it enjoyable, I certainly did.

We love the golf club! The staff is super friendly and very family friendly. We were kind of worried signing up for a membership because kids golfing might slow other people down. We've had nothing but great times at the club, and everybody has been so happy to see kids as members.

The pro shop staff is super friendly, David the club pro is always quick to say hello and check on you. Germ the president I believe has also been amazing! Encouraging us to bring our kids to all the events.

We did an outdoor movie night this year at the club which was a big hit with the family.

Shout-out to Maggie upstairs! Best waitress/bartender around. You can't buy that kind of customer service anymore it's amazing how nice everybody is here

Not too impressed! Super aggressive grounds keeper. Never have I experienced any one working on a course charge at a group and be ready to fight! I believe that it’s course etiquette for grounds people to step aside, not charge! I understand they have a job to do, but we are also trying to do something.

Great course, better weather. We played 18 holes on a Sunday morning and had one of the most pleasant golf experiences ever. Fast greens, but that actually helped. Fun short par 4’s. Low traffic, but still a nice round under 4 hours. Rental clubs were first class.

A really enjoyable golf course. Not too long not too short. Every hole is different in it's own way. Rough was lush and thick, fairways were a bit furry but that's too be expected when playing at the end of the week. Greens were PURE, firm and fast, rolling true, which is a shock. Usually courses in the PNW have longer and slower greens to protect from the cold weather. Houses do come into play on the course AND on the left side of the driving range which is scary but is good practice. The staff were very kind and accommodating, from the pro shop to the kitchen. Pretty easy course to walk, a couple slight hills on the back, also wasn't busy at all on a perfect Sunday afternoon. Played as a foursome and didn't see anyone on the front nine but let two solos play through on the back. AND a great price, from the green's fees to the food. FIVE HOT DOGS FOR 12$$!!! (Not all for me btw)

Middle of March in Washington, first sunny weekend, its difficult to find an early Saturday morning start on a quality course. My buddy and I drove 45 minutes to play here at an 0740 start and were so impressed we can't wait to come back.
The course was already incredibly dry (drier than 90% of courses in Skagit/Island/Whatcom), the greens were some of the fastest and most consistent that I have played on, fairways were smooth, we walked 18 holes in 3.5 hours, hospitality and friendliness of staff and members was top notch. $48 for a Saturday at a course this nice that is open to the public felt like stealing to be honest.
Thank you to everyone who runs the show, it was a great golfing experience. We will be back soon!

Staff was friendly and the course was fun. I would give it 5 stars, but the greens were really lacking. They weren’t maintained like most other courses. The grass seemed very long and was hard to gauge shots with. The carts were great!

Enjoyable golf course with a nice ocean breeze. There are no ocean views here but you are close enough to feel the breeze. The course is not terribly challenging but it is not easy either. Lots of water and hazards to avoid, sharp doglegs with blind shots, and small tree lined fairways. There are some fun risk reward holes with birdies and eagles to be had for aggressive players. The greens were not fast for a end of summer round but rolled well enough and not a lot of slope and undulation. I was surprised at the high price for the product and how far out this is on the island. The staff were very friendly and helpful in the shop and the restaurant.

I would rate the Golf Club higher, but I had a negative experience this morning that just didn't sit well with me. An organization I belong to meets here every week. This morning we made mention of a light in the ceiling that blinks flashes continually and is VERY annoying! Especially when you are conducting a meeting. I made mention of it to one of the staff members as it was that way last week too. She was very snappy, rude, and stated that the Golf Club doesn't have a ladder high enough to reach the ceiling light to fix it and they have to order a special lift to come in and fix it!
Seriously? The Golf Club is only a 2 story building. They should have the monies in their facilities budget to fix such things! And your staff should not be rude to the paying customers/club members!

Amber is my favorite waitress! She remembered what beer I liked after not being in for months, I was amazed! The course is pretty good, well maintained with friendly members and staff. We come to the Easter brunch every year and the Superbowl party is pretty fun.

Nicely kept course with a good walking layout. This course will always be a favorite as I had a hole in one on the second hole while on holidays there!! Greens run straight but could have been a little faster on some greens, but who am I to complain.............hole in one............hahaha.
