I was very disappointed with my pole dance session. When I first arrived, the code to get into the studio had been changed and we were not notified. After finally being let in, I was informed that the instructor I had selected was not going to be instructing the class, the owner was replacing her. The class had been overbooked in my opinion. Nine women showed up and there were only six poles. One of the poles had the finish coming off, and ripped the skin off my palm on my first visit. It remained that way for the entire six weeks. Some women who had not come to the class for 3 weeks were given special attention over the women who were there the whole time. The final class was changed once and then changed again to a time that I couldn't attend (family birthday). I asked for a refund for just the last class a few times, and each time the owner indicated that she would get right on it. I have not recieved anything. This has been going on since the begining of August.
Being the owner of a company and directly involved in this particular session, you would think there would be more pride in operations.

I took the full moon pole workshop I’m SO glad I was able to make this because it was easily one of the coolest pole classes I’ve ever taken. Bridgette warmly invited me in when I knocked on the door a few mins late since I was coming from further away. And then everyone in that class proceeded to blow my mind. The ambience was unmatched. It was a magical experience to witness and take part in. Thank you!!

Went for a bachelorette and had so much fun. The instructor was friendly, made us feel at ease, and we had a fun, laughed filled time, with a group. I was nervous to try it but was immediately at ease. Highly recommend!

This studio is so worth every penny & minute spent commuting! I'm working my way through the beginner series, and each class is an excellent workout and great therapy session for the brain working on positivity and confidence. All of the instructors are very inclusive and work hard to meet each student where they're at to provide an awesome experience for all. Thanks to Anna, Miranda, and Angi for enabling my start here 🤩

Went to Writhe for a group activity for my Bachelorette and it was SO FUN! Miranda was AMAZING! She really helped make us all feel so comfortable and the time fun. My group didn't know each other which can feel awkward trying to channel in a sensual side but, Miranda helped make us feel breakout of that. Afterwards, we kept talking about how fun she was. She even showed us a pole dance her self.We learned how to spin on the pole and a whole routine which was SO FUN. I definitely would recommend going to Writhe and booking a pole party class.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I am almost done with the intro series, and the instructor, Georgia, is AMAZING. She makes me feel comfortable and makes the class fun. She's always positive and doesn't make me feel embarrassed when I need extra help. Also, if you've never done pole, DO IT. You'll be surprised about how much fun you'll have, and it's the best upper body workout I've ever done.

I couldn’t be more grateful that I found Writhe. The pole studios where I used to live often had a stuffy, competitive vibe. Not the case at Writhe. Here I feel like I’ve actually been able to connect with my fellow students and build a true community. Plus, you can come as you are, even if it’s in a pair of ratty sweatpants. No one cares whether you’re wearing your best Lululemon’s.
The instructors here care about helping their students to build a solid foundation in every aspect of pole (including free flowing) instead of just demonstrating an invert and telling you to go for it.
Because of all the wonderful things Writhe has to offer, I’ve been able to be the most consistent I’ve ever been in my pole journey.
If you’re on the fence about giving it a shot, let this be your sign to try it now!

I can't wait to go back! Four friends and I went to Writhe for a Pole Party to celebrate a Bachelorette party. Leah was our instructor and we only have good things to say about her. She was accommodating, empowering, fun and knowledgeable. We all had a blast exploring pole and lap dancing without shame. The space was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Writhe to anyone looking to get in touch with their bodies, feel liberated, and try something new. Thank you times a million to Leah.

This place and the women there (instructors as well as students alike) changed my life for the better in ways I never imagined. Truly every aspect of my life has improved vastly since I began taking classes there; not just physically but socially mentally and emotionally as well. I did not know women could be like that especially in a group. I've never felt such a sense of genuine friendship and caring as I have there at Writhe. I highly recommend to any woman who's ever even thought about trying pole to visit Writhe. Going there was the best thing I ever did for myself.

My introduction to Writhe came in the form of a bachelorette party. Over the course of two hours we were taught a couple of basic spins and how to walk, crawl, and arch in ways that were both attractive and confidence-building. Our instructor was friendly and humorous, not to mention encouragingly inspirational. She guided us without criticism and taught us to move in ways that not only looked good, but felt right for our bodies.
We came in a group of nervous girls and left a fearsome squadron of empowered women. :)
Since then, we've gone on to complete Writhe's Beginner Series and are now in another set of six classes that have us learning dozens of spins, floor moves, and hair tosses. We've even started to learn how to climb the pole to prepare ourselves for some of the more daring things we hope to do in the future! The more classes we take, the better everything feels.
If you're interested in a muscle-building exercise that's both engaging and fun, then there's no better place for pole dancing than Writhe! The classes at Writhe are more than just pole dancing lessons. They focus not only on the fitness, grace, power, and strength that comes from such an athletic form of dance, but also on the ideas of confidence, sexuality, womanhood, and camaraderie.
Above all, Writhe strives to create an environment where women can feel comfortable expressing themselves through dance while fostering an ambiance of acceptance and sensuality. I've never felt so welcome during a workout before!
