The Charles Town location should be called out of order fitness. Some of the equipment have had out of order signs for months and the majority of equipment cushions are worn and ripped. They have had a toilet out of order for 2 months now and the gym and bathrooms are usually dirty. Not well managed for a 24 hour location.

Typical franchise Anytime location, appeared to be a smaller footprint than some others. It was clean and well kept, but someone should change the hours listed on Google, as it says 6am opening, so I first visited another location because I wasn't sure if this one was somehow different than the other locations. For the record, it's no different, and still open and available 24/7

The gym in Charles Town WV is a great gym to shower and workout to improve overall fitness. No one bothers you. I should have used the massage which I l really like to relax. This staff is young, nice & responsive if you need something. I love Anytime Fitness!

Very clean. Nice staff who always stop and talk to regulars. This is my favorite anytime fitness, even though I go to multiple due to my hectic schedule. If you sign up, the contracts are for 1-2 years and you have access to any anytime fitness, which is incredibly convenient. Personal Training sessions are also available when you sign up so make sure to take advantage, especially if you’re starting in the gym for a New Years Resolution.

They keep it WAY too hot, especially for summer. They need to turn the temp on the AC down or invest in some new fans. Never see staff cleaning machines. Overpriced

I've been going for 2 years or so. Not too busy durring peak hours. Sanitizer bottles and paper towels are always full. Staff are friendly and willing to help if asked a question. Equipment is always in good/ great shape. Highly recommend.

An absolutely awesome place to workout. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Speaking to them it feels like your speaking to a buddy of yours rather than to a "worker". The community is very inclusive and not to mention the wide variety of clean equipment to use.

I've now worked out in 18 Anytime Fitness locations around the country and my home gym remains my favorite. Great staff, an abundance of serious, well-maintained equipment (including a full kit of plate-loaded machines), plenty of free weights and benches, and even a Muay Thai-ready heavy bag. Lots of open floor space. Even has tanning and massage. Never more than slightly crowded with friendly-but-not-overly-so, mostly very courteous regulars who know gym etiquette and are there to exercise seriously. Just an all-around positive experience every visit.

This is a great gym. Definitely all the equipment you need, always in usable condition. Kept clean and organized. And the management seem to be great people in my experience. Highly recommend picking Anytime Fitness if you're serious about joining a gym. If you're not serious, go somewhere else because they don't make it cheap for you to back out lol

Where do you get your healthy on? Wherever you live, work, or play, Anytime Fitness is always open to get your fit on. If work calls you away from your home gym, there's typically a franchise nearby. I'm kinda partial to Anytime Fitness Charles Town. The facilities are always clean, organized, and have functional equipment (shocker, I know, for some franchises, I know). Staff and members are usually friendly and always willing to help if, when, and where needed. We all started at the level you are today,. If you're looking to start a fitness or wellness program, AFCT should be at the top of your list!

So overall this is a good gym. It does have a lot of different equipment depending on the type of workout you're going for. However it loses one star because it's the only anytime fitness I've ever been to that doesn't have an elliptical cross trainer, (allows you to affect resistance and incline) and it happens to be my absolute favorite cardio equipment. Just single resistance isn't enough and gets boring. Second star because It's also cramped for space. If they could expand into one of the other stores and open it up more it'd be amazing, however if it's busy in there I could foresee everyone in each other's way.

I will be canceling my membership. Overall, this gym is completley over priced and over crowded 80% of the time. I don’t care that it is 24hrs. I can go to leesburg to a LA fitness and pay $35 a month for free classes, a pool, sauna and overall a bigger gym. This gym is way to small to be asking for a $115 yearly membership ( as there was two people on my account they charge $60 per person and charged my account without any warning) . I never agreed to this “fee” as I signed up for a 24 month commitment of 35 a month. Overall, I am disappointed bc this is the closest gym in the area. I’d rather buy my own gym equipment as they have failed to use our money wisely. I don’t agree with this random fee , as $35 per person should cover their rent.

When I called to inquire about a membership, I was told a different amount than I actually ended up paying. The girl on the phone didn't tell me the lower price was only for special discounts. I signed up anyway for $10 more a month than quoted. I was told that group training was free on Saturday mornings only to be told by the lead trainer that wasn't true, then to be told by the gym manager that they indeed were free. The lead trainer flat out said that the information given by my doctor wasn't correct. I'm just waiting for my year to be over. The gym feels like it's run by a bunch of college kids. Overall cleanliness is just ok. If you go at night, the towels to wipe off the machines are usually soaked. Some of the machines squeak. The hydromassage bed was out of water for weeks. I miss planet fitness.

The staff make me feel at home here. I've never had to wait for attention when I was making my initial inquiry, on my (7 day!) free trial, or as a member. Cassidy is always welcoming and happy to show me around and answer questions. There are crowded times, and the limited number of showers can be a little awkward at like 630am on Monday, so if i could I might knock off half a star for that, but the place is clean, convenient, well-equipped, and full service. I love the tanning booth and hydro massage, and I keep finding new equipment and ways to challenge myself.
